Jennifer Lopez may be reportedly creepin’ with a much younger toy boy these days but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have time to hang out with her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony. J. Lo and Marc, despite their estrangement, were spotted together in their Puerto Rico this week … but not in any romantic way. LopAnthony may be divorcing but they are still tied together professionally … and that is why they were spotted together this week.

In early August, Jennifer Lopez gave an interview to Vanity Fair magazine wherein she discussed her recent split from hubby Marc Anthony. Since that interview occurred, a report came out that claimed that the reason that J. Lo and Marc broke up was because of an extramarital affair he supposedly had with Jada Pinkett-Smith. Last night, Marc sat down with Nightline to give his side of the story and clear up any misconceptions that people may have about his private life. While Jennifer Lopez spent part of her first full weekend as a single woman working here in LA, her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony was keeping bizzy himself in Colombia where he performed live in concert. Marc addressed the news of his split from J. Lo on stage but only briefly. He made one joke about the news and then moved on with his performance. Singer, actress and American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and her hubby of 7 years Marc Anthony have issued a statement announcing that they are ending their marriage. Seemingly out of the blue, J. Lo and Marc issued their statement late today (a Friday) in what looks to be an attempt to minimize attention. No real reason has been made public as to the cause for the split but the statement, issued to People magazine, makes it clear that the decision to split was “difficult”.

Last night the Who’s Who of the Fashion Elite made their way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to attend the annual “celebrity prom” event known as the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala … and the most extravagantly beautiful (and not quite beautiful) couture fashions were shown off on the red carpet. The theme of the Gala Ball this year was Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, in honor of the late fashion designer. As you should know, the design house of Alexander McQueen was responsible for Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress last weekend … so this MET Gala Ball was only the latest tribute to McQueen‘s important impact on Fashion. Jennifer Lopez spend a few days in Las Vegas, NV earlier this month taping new episodes of American Idol and fell so in love with the Cirque du Soleil show The Beatles LOVE that she went back to see the show again with family and friends last night on New Year’s Eve. J. Lo flew in their closest family and friends for the 7pm show last night and said goodbye to 2010 with the music of The Beatles.

Congratulations goes out to the New Orleans Saints today who, as I’m sure you are well aware, won Super Bowl XLIV last night at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. Props go out to the Indianapolis Colts for playing a strong game and for taking an early lead (making it look like they were going to blow out the Saints) but, in the end, the New Orleans Saints pulled off the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history and ended up winning their FIRST Super Bowl Championship ever by a final score of 31 – 17:

The New Orleans Saints almost left when their city flooded and their stadium had been turned into a shelter, a disaster seeming to provide the perfect escape route for a team in search of a better stadium and a bigger market. Displaced and disheartened, the Saints haltingly returned to a repaired Superdome after Hurricane Katrina. And a team so awful that its fans used to wear bags on their heads came to symbolize and be embraced by a battered but rebuilding community. On Sunday, with a quarterback who had hitched his career to resurrecting the Saints and with a team that played nearly flawlessly, the Saints gave New Orleans a reason to do what it does better than any other American city: celebrate. In the franchise’s first Super Bowl, the Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts, 31-17, sending New Orleanians into the streets for a party. “Who Dat?” Saints fans ask about which opponent might beat their team. Now they have their answer: nobody. The Saints are the N.F.L.’s champions, after 42 seasons of futility. Confetti fell on the Saints here, but back in New Orleans, where Mardi Gras begins in less than two weeks, Bourbon Street erupted in joy, four and a half years after the city was nearly engulfed by despair when the levees broke. “Louisiana, by way of New Orleans, is back,” said the Saints’ owner, Tom Benson, clutching the Lombardi Trophy. “And it shows the whole world.” The play that sealed the victory, a comeback from a 10-0 deficit, came with a little more than three minutes to play at the expense of a New Orleans native. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, a son of the beloved former Saints quarterback Archie Manning, was intercepted by Saints cornerback Tracy Porter — a Louisiana native, too — when the Saints blitzed. Porter jumped in front of the intended receiver and returned the interception 74 yards for a touchdown that gave the Saints their winning margin. “Four years ago, whoever thought this would be happening?” quarterback Drew Brees said. “Eighty-five percent of the city was under water. All of the residents evacuated across the county. Most people not knowing if New Orleans could ever come back or if the organization or team would ever come back” … Brees was the M.V.P. of the game, but Saints Coach Sean Payton made the most valuable — and the gutsiest — decision. With the Saints trailing by 4 points and kicking off to the Colts to open the second half, Payton called for an onside kick. The Saints call the play “ambush,” and that was what it was. Colts players admitted after the game that they did not see it coming. Thomas Morstead, the kicker on the play, said: “I wasn’t worried. I was terrified” … At long last, the Saints have arrived, and they brought New Orleans back with them.

What a game, eh? As I said yesterday before the game got underway, I was not rooting for any particular team because I didn’t have a vested interest in either side winning but you gotta admit, it’s pretty sweet to see the people of New Orleans cheering in the streets just 4 years after their city was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The Saints‘ win was well-deserved, they played hard … make smart moves … and, in the end, proved they were the best team of the year. It would appear that after the Lopez-Anthony family were finished opening their presents on Xmas morn, they packed up as many folks as they could muster and decided to spend the day at Disney. To be honest, I even contemplated a visit yesterday myself but my laziness took hold and I decided not to. It looks like the family had a great time at the amusement park yesterday and I’m happy to see that Marc kept his zombieness to a minimum. No need scaring the other park attendees, especially on Xmas. Looks like a fun day for LopAnthony this Xmas :)

Jennifer Lopez and her overly perspirationous husband Marc Anthony showed up on the red carpet (!!!) of the Miami Dolphins game in Florida last night and much to their embarrassment, Anthony was brazenly showing off his soaking wet pit stains all night long. Um, can someone get Marc Anthony some antiperspirant STAT before we all puke onto our shoes?

Since buying a stake in the Miami Dolphins in July, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have been bringing a touch of A-list glamour to the American football scene. But arriving to watch their men play the New Orleans Saints in Florida yesterday afternoon, the Latin singer’s smart outfit was let down by his incredibly sweaty armpits. Falling prey to the sweltering [87.8 °F] sunshine, the 41-year-old couldn’t escape the unsightly sweat patches. While his 40-year-old wife showed off her curves in a black sundress and platform heels, it was Marc garnering the most attention with his damp shirt. Due to the heat, Jennifer’s face was also glistening with sweat, but it looked more like a flattering healthy glow. Marc and Jennifer have become regular attendees at Miami Dolphin games since they purchased a minority stake in the game over the summer. Unfortunately for the couple, the Saints won the game 46-34.

I mean, I realize it can get hot in Florida but other people managed to walk the red carpet without sweating thru their clothes. I can’t even imagine what it must be like for J. Lo to nuzzle up against her husband and get an armpit (or two) of stanky pit sweat. GROSS!! Heaven forbid that Marc put his arm around his lady love … he’d prolly drown the poor woman! UGH. Mebbe Marc, who is now part owner of the Dolphins, was sweating because his team has been playing like shit every since he bought ownership in the team? Whatever the case may be, he really needs to keep that shizz in check … it’s difficult enough to see pics of his zombielookin’ness without the pit stains … ICK!

In July we learned that husband and wife Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez became part-owners of the Miami Dolphins football team and last night the couple stepped out for a red carpet celebration of the team’s Monday Night Football match against the Indianapolis Colts. Unfortch for the new owners, the Dolphins managed to lose against the Colts which means that their record this year already is 0-2. Ouch!

Now, either LopAnthony bought themselves a lemon of a football team OR they are just bad luck … but still, it’s really early in the football season and the Dolphins have plenty of time to turn things around. I do find it a bit comical that the Dolphins need to host red carpet parties now that LopAnthony are part-owners of the team … I doubt the actual players get such a reception when they show up to play. Here’s hoping the Dolphins‘ luck turns around quickly … it’d really suck if they ended up turning out to be a bunch of pigeons.
