Needs more twins
The Brangelina Brood Take To The Canals Of Venice Again

Here’s a sight that we should prolly get used to seeing in the coming weeks and months … Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took most of their children — Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Pax Thien and Shiloh Nouvel — for a boat ride on the canals of Venice, Italy yesterday afternoon. Because you kinda have to get around by boat taxi in the water city of Venice, this will very likely be an every day occurrence for the Brangelina brood:

Unfortch, the twin babies were not brought along on this outing. I hope we do get to see more of them since they are in Venice and have been sighted more often in the last 2 weeks than in all of last year. Let’s pray they haven’t been locked away in cages for another 6 months ;) I know that corralling 6 kids at once is tough but it’s kinda what Brangelina have signed up for. Photos like this need more twins!

The gang's all here -- including the twins!!!
The Brangelina Bunch Invade Italy

It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen the Brangelina bunch all together, including ALL of the kiddies — Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Pax Thien, Shiloh Nouvel, Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline. When last we saw Brangelina out and about, they were were lookin’ all lovey-dovey in Miami, FL as they rooted for the New Orleans Saints at Super Bowl XLIV. Since then, Angelina made her way to Haiti to do some UN Goodwill Ambassador work there. This week, the entire Brangelina brood have made their way to Venice, Italy for a little family vacay … with ALL of their children:

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gave the tourists of Venice an extra sight to see today when they were spotted treating their children to ice cream. After keeping a low-profile amidst rumours of relationship trouble in recent months, the couple were seen with all six of their children today for the first time in ages. The superstar couple jetted into Italy’s canal city yesterday afternoon in preparation for a three-month stint while Jolie films her new movie The Tourist. And after sleeping off the jetlag at their new digs at the 15th century Palazzo Mocenigo, Jolie and Pitt decided to give their four oldest children a taste of a local delicacy – ice cream. The couple are renting out the stunning canal-side Palazzo, which is situated between the Rialto and Accademia parts of the city and faces San Toma. After arriving in a private plane at Marco Polo Airport on Monday afternoon, the family took two speedboats – one for their huge amount of luggage and another for the children – to their new home. Jolie, 34, isn’t expected to begin filming until March 15 which gives the family plenty of time to get to know the maze of streets and canals of Venice. Earlier today, the couple left their 19-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne at home with the nannies as they took their four other children out for ice cream … A few hours earlier, the couple then stepped out with their youngest children Knox and Vivienne, who have been rarely seen in public … Their move to Venice is yet another new location for the couple’s increasingly nomadic existence. After spending the past few months in Los Angeles, it appears the Jolie-Pitt family are suffering from itchy feet again.

Aww … I love seeing the entire family altogether. This photo shows the brood enjoying ice cream together (and look at Shiloh‘s hat … is that not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?!) but after the jump, you can check out photos of Brangelina with the youngest twins as they boarded a gondola for a Venician cruise …

When the Saints go marching in!
The New Orleans Saints Win Super Bowl XLIV

Congratulations goes out to the New Orleans Saints today who, as I’m sure you are well aware, won Super Bowl XLIV last night at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. Props go out to the Indianapolis Colts for playing a strong game and for taking an early lead (making it look like they were going to blow out the Saints) but, in the end, the New Orleans Saints pulled off the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history and ended up winning their FIRST Super Bowl Championship ever by a final score of 31 – 17:

The New Orleans Saints almost left when their city flooded and their stadium had been turned into a shelter, a disaster seeming to provide the perfect escape route for a team in search of a better stadium and a bigger market. Displaced and disheartened, the Saints haltingly returned to a repaired Superdome after Hurricane Katrina. And a team so awful that its fans used to wear bags on their heads came to symbolize and be embraced by a battered but rebuilding community. On Sunday, with a quarterback who had hitched his career to resurrecting the Saints and with a team that played nearly flawlessly, the Saints gave New Orleans a reason to do what it does better than any other American city: celebrate. In the franchise’s first Super Bowl, the Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts, 31-17, sending New Orleanians into the streets for a party. “Who Dat?” Saints fans ask about which opponent might beat their team. Now they have their answer: nobody. The Saints are the N.F.L.’s champions, after 42 seasons of futility. Confetti fell on the Saints here, but back in New Orleans, where Mardi Gras begins in less than two weeks, Bourbon Street erupted in joy, four and a half years after the city was nearly engulfed by despair when the levees broke. “Louisiana, by way of New Orleans, is back,” said the Saints’ owner, Tom Benson, clutching the Lombardi Trophy. “And it shows the whole world.” The play that sealed the victory, a comeback from a 10-0 deficit, came with a little more than three minutes to play at the expense of a New Orleans native. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, a son of the beloved former Saints quarterback Archie Manning, was intercepted by Saints cornerback Tracy Porter — a Louisiana native, too — when the Saints blitzed. Porter jumped in front of the intended receiver and returned the interception 74 yards for a touchdown that gave the Saints their winning margin. “Four years ago, whoever thought this would be happening?” quarterback Drew Brees said. “Eighty-five percent of the city was under water. All of the residents evacuated across the county. Most people not knowing if New Orleans could ever come back or if the organization or team would ever come back” … Brees was the M.V.P. of the game, but Saints Coach Sean Payton made the most valuable — and the gutsiest — decision. With the Saints trailing by 4 points and kicking off to the Colts to open the second half, Payton called for an onside kick. The Saints call the play “ambush,” and that was what it was. Colts players admitted after the game that they did not see it coming. Thomas Morstead, the kicker on the play, said: “I wasn’t worried. I was terrified” … At long last, the Saints have arrived, and they brought New Orleans back with them.

What a game, eh? As I said yesterday before the game got underway, I was not rooting for any particular team because I didn’t have a vested interest in either side winning but you gotta admit, it’s pretty sweet to see the people of New Orleans cheering in the streets just 4 years after their city was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The Saints‘ win was well-deserved, they played hard … make smart moves … and, in the end, proved they were the best team of the year. After the jump, check out some of the celebs who were in the hiz at Super Bowl XLIV last night …

Geaux Saints!
Brad Pitt & Maddox Chivan Arrive In Miami For Super Bowl XLIV

Brad Pitt and his eldest son, Maddox Chivan, have made their way from SoCal to Miami, FL this weekend to partake in the Super Bowl XLIV festivities going on there right now. While Daddy Braddy and Maddox will, very likely, not be hittin’ all the clubs and pre-parties, I’m pretty certain that they will be at the actual Super Bowl game to watch their beloved New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts for American football supremacy. Here are photos of father and son being whisked thru the airport in Miami late last night:

It’s a very safe bet that Braddox will be cheering for the Saints in today’s match-up, considering how much Brad Pitt loves everything even remotely related to New Orleans. In fact, a great many fans are will be rooting for the Saints to pull out a Super Bowl win for the honor of New Orleans which is still dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. A big win today will go a long way in giving the people of New Orleans something to feel good about, even if it basically boils down to a single football game. I don’t personally have a stake in today’s game but I wouldn’t mind seeing New Orleans winning today and then celebrating for the next year or so as a result. In any event, may the best team win!

Touchdown!
Brad Pitt & Maddox Chivan Cheer On The New Orleans Saints

Brad Pitt and his eldest son Maddox Chivan were spotted on the field at Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, LA to cheer on and root for the New Orleans Saints football team. At one point the were spotted chillin with movie director Spike Lee but watched the game in seats that were seated next to actress Patricia Clarkson. Here are a few photos from yesterday’s game:

Brad Pitt and eldest son Maddox enjoyed the New Orleans Saints’ victory from fantastic seats by the field on Saturday. Pitt, who has a home in New Orleans and has been helping rebuild homes post-Katrina with his Make It Right Foundation, still has his scraggly goatee. The pair sat by actress Patricia Clarkson.

Brad and Maddox really are best buds. It’s always nice when they let younger brother Pax Thien tag along but Brad and Maddox are tight (it’s also worth noting that mama Angelina Jolie and Maddox are tight too, those two go waaaaaay back … even before Ange met Brad). It looks like these guys had themselves a great time at the game … especially considering that the Saints beat the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 45-14. It must be real nice to be the firstborn son. I hope we get to see more of Brad-dox around NO … they make an adorable pair.

Fun!!
Brad Pitt & Boys Enjoy A Night Out At Dave & Buster’s

Yesterday we saw a cute photo of dad Brad Pitt taking his eldest daughters out for a set visit to see their mother Angelina Jolie while she worked and today we get to see a cute photo of daddy Braddy taking his eldest sons, Maddox Chivan and Pax Thien, for a boys’ night out of fun at Dave & Buster’s … behold:

It’s a boys’ day out for Brad Pitt and sons Maddox and Pax! The star, 46, and his younger brother Doug took the two boys to Dave & Buster’s in New York City’s Times Square Wednesday afternoon, UsMagazine.com confirms. (Pitt took Maddox to the same Dave & Busters back in September.) While at the arcade restaurant, Pitt helped Pax, 6, with the controls on “The Big One,” an oversized crane used to grab stuffed animals. After several attempts, they won a giant stuffed animal. The group — surrounded by four security guards — then moved on to war game “Razing Storm.” Pax and Maddox, 8, took hold of the life-size guns and shot at the arcade screen for a few minutes before moving on. While the bearded Pitt watched them play, an eyewitness tells Us he handed out extra Dave & Buster’s game cards to a few children. One boy jumped up and down in excitement when the star gave him the card and patted him on the back, the source says. When a crowd began gathering, Pitt, Doug and the kids got in an elevator to leave. As the doors closed, one onlooker yelled out, “I love Jennifer Aniston!” Although Pitt didn’t look amused, his brother Doug laughed out loud, an eyewitness says.

Playtime dates like this with the boys is nothing new for Brad Pitt. He is fond of taking the kids to D&B’s as well as Mars 2112 (which is another amusement-themed restaurant in NYC). Even with all those bodyguards in tow, it’s nice to know that Brad tries to keep things as real for the kids as possible. No word on how Brad, Ange and their 6 kids will be spending New Year’s Eve but something tells me that they will be all together and having fun!

The Brangelina Bunch Grab Lunch In NYC

Here is a cute photo of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their children — Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Pax Thien and Shiloh Nouvel — sitting down for a bite to eat at a cafe in NYC over the weekend. Only the twin babies Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline were not in attendance on this outing … but with 4 kids already in tow, I’m thinkin’ Brangelina were quite happy to keep the wee little ones at home:

Aww … Ange. She looks good but tired. I love that Brangelina is happy to just bring their kids into any ol’ cafe for food. For as famous as they are as a collective unit, they really do tend to live fairly normal lives. It remains to be seen if the Brangelina bunch will remain in NYC for the holidays but one thing’s for sure, wherever they end up for Xmas they’re sure to be together and happy :)

The first family
Angelina Jolie Reunited With Her Maddox

Angelina Jolie was reunited with her first child, Maddox Chivan, in France today after spending some time apart in the past week or so. Maddox traveled to the US with his father Brad Pitt and Ange was left home with the rest of the kiddies … but before Brad, the twins, Shiloh, Pax and Zahara — it was just Angelina and Maddox:

As you can see, Angelina purchased a little suction cup dart gun for her little man and kinda looks pregs in this dress. I’m pretty sure she’s not pregs but, well, the outfit does look suspicious. In the end, tho, it’s just Angelina and Maddox … just like it’s been from the start. These two go way back … it’s nice to see them out and about enjoying some alone time together.

Men on the move
Brad Pitt & Maddox Fly Home To Rejoin The Brangelina Bunch

On Thursday we saw a few ADORABLE photos of Angelina Jolie and 3 of her children — Pax Thien, Zahara Marley and Shiloh Nouvel — on a shopping excursion to a Toys R Us in France. I noted at the time that Brad and Maddox Chivan were here in the States taking care of biz … but it looks like that biz has been completed cuz here are a couple pics of the Brangelina “men” making their way thru JFK Airport presumably making their way home to the rest of the fam:

Brad and Mad have become quite the pair. If ever Brad brings one of his children with him on trips, it’s usually Maddox (sometimes with Pax, sometimes not). We usually see Angelina out with the girls … so it looks like the Brangelina Brood is a boy vs. girl situation. HMMM. We still hardly ever seen the twins — Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon — so it’s impossible to know if they are split up between the parents by gender as well. But … whatever the case may be when they are out and about individually, there is no doubt that they are one happy family when they are all together. It’s so cute … couldn’t you just puke on your shoes?

Don't panic! It's not what you think.
Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Go Their Separate Ways

Angelina Jolie and her eldest child Maddox Chivan were spotted making their way thru LAX Airport this week bound for the Middle East where Ange will be doing a bit of work as Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) … while her hubby-like partner Brad Pitt was spotted tooling around LA on his hog:

Presumably, Dad Pitt will remain at the homestead to care for the rest of the Brangelina brood while Angelina is off saving the world. Santa Angelina has already made her way to Baghdad, Iraq to do her good work. Here is a photo and some deets on Angelina‘s visit to the affected region:

Angelina Jolie took a day trip onThursday to Baghdad. The actress and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador is there to speak out for aid on behalf the millions of Iraqis displaced within their own country and the 1.5 million more Iraqis displaced out of the country. This is her third visit to the country in recent years. On Tuesday afternoon Jolie and eldest son Maddox took off from LAX, where they were heading to the 24th annual Arab Children’s Congress in Amman, Jordan. The pair were reportedly going to be staying with Jolie’s friend Queen Noor.

You can read the full text of the UNHCR press release HERE. I’m always amazed at how much time and devotion Angelina puts toward her charity work. It makes ones head spin just thinking about all commitments Angelina keeps in her every day life … whether they be personal, professional or philanthropic, Angelina Jolie works hard, y’all! Kudos to her for her continued zeal to try and help heal the world.
