A couple of weeks ago, we learned that Jamie Lynn Spears and her babydaddy Casey Aldridge had broken up because JL found new love with an older man named James Watson. Then, earlier this week, we saw a photo of Jamie Lynn grabbin’ some grub at Sonic Drive-Thru with her pappy Jamie Spears who flew to be at her side in Kentwood, LA. Today, we get to see another new photo of JL with her baby girl Maddie Briann out with an older man … can you guess which one?

HMMMM. Firstly, can I just say WOW! Does Jamie Lynn Spears look amazing or what? She looks good, y’all. Whichever older man she’s been hangin’ with is having an AMAZING effect on her. Secondly … well, you’re gonna have to look behind the cut to find out which older man was spotted in the close company of JL and her daughter MB …

Yesterday we saw a batch of photos of almost the entirety of the Spears family enjoying some downtime together poolside in Miami, FL and today we get to see a few more pics of all that relaxin’ … but this time, it’s only the Spears ladies who are soaking up the sun. While the boys are off doing their thing elsewhere, Britney, Jamie Lynn, Maddie Briann and Lynne Spears are chillaxin’ by the pool:

Maddie Briann doesn’t get to spend much time with aunt Brit Brit so I’m sure she appreciates this time together. With all the touring that’s been going on this year, Britney hasn’t really had much time to hang with her family as much as she’d prolly like to. Sure, she’ll meet up with them along the way as the tour carries on but it’s not the same as everyday contact. It’s really encouraging to know that Britney‘s handlers are making sure to keep her connected with her family as much as possible as she works her ass off on tour. Our dear Britney still has many more US dates ahead of her and then she jets off to Australia for some shows there … the end of the road isn’t really in sight for her just yet … which is why I’m sure she is really enjoying this little vacy with her family in Miami.

After spending some time in NYC last week and a couple of quick pitstops in Boston, MA and Philadelphia, PA this weekend, Britney Spears brought her young’ns to Miami, FL to meet up with some members of her family … including her parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears … and her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who brought along her own young’n Maddie Briann. Contrary to reports going around the Internets today that claim that Jamie Lynn Spears and her underage babydaddy Casey Aldridge are dunzo, TMZ has photos of the couple still lookin’ seemingly together. Casey-Lynn were snapped out on the town in McComb, MS with their little girl Maddie Briann lookin’ very much the happy family together:

Whew! I’m glad that rumor has been debunked. I’m sure a great many of you were standing on any number of high buildings and bridges all around the world racked with worry that Jamie Lynn and Casey were on the outs. I’m sure it comes as a HUGE relief to so many of you rooting for this couple to beat the odds and stay together forever. Tho, I imagine it comes as NO RELIEF to see that Casey has no problem smoking around his infant daughter or that JL seems to let him. Blah.

Jamie Lynn Spears and her daughter Maddie Briann were spotted upon arrival at LAX Airport in SoCal late last week as the ladies were planning to spend some time with Mama/Grandmama Lynne Spears for a spell:

Unfortch, babydaddy Casey Aldridge got into a car accident on Sunday when he lost control of his truck and flipped it, resulting in injuries to Casey and 3 other passengers. It is being reported that Casey will be moved from ICU so he should be OK but JL and MB packed up their shizz and flew back home to Louisiana so that they could be with Casey during his recuperation. This is the first time that we’ve seen Maddie Briann in quite some time … I believe the last time we saw her she was still a tiny thing being pushed around in a stroller. She has grown considerably since we saw her late last year. It’s still strange to think of Jamie Lynn as a mother but, as I understand it, she and Casey have been holding their own as parents. Except for Casey‘s wild ride this weekend, the couple have remained out of trubs and have been keeping well out of sight. I suppose JL and Maddie will stay out of sight for the duration of Casey‘s recuperation but it was nice to get a peek at the little girl after all these months.

New mom Jamie Lynn Spears took her baby girl Maddie Briann for a mother/daughter shopping trip this weekend in her new home of McComb, MS. It looks like JL and MB managed to get in quite a bit of bonding time over bargain shopping at their friendly neighborhood Walmart store:

You know, in these tough economic times it makes total sense to be as frugal as possible when it comes to our shopping practices. While my discount store of choice is Target, I really can’t hate on JL for smartly recognizing that it is very wise to pinch as many pennies as possible. It really looks like she is settling into motherhood with some semblance of normalcy. While she may still get papped in Mississippi, I imagine that she is able to go thru her normal day much easier than she would if she lived in SoCal. And what was papa Casey Aldridge doing while his ladies where shopping at Walmart? After the jump, find out …

In other Spears-related news, I feel that I have to nominate new teenage dad Casey Aldridge as Moron of the Year. According to a new report from TMZ, Casey thought it would be a brilliant idea to snap a bunch of private, family photos — including one of his teenage bride babymama Jamie Lynn Spears exposing her left breast as she nursed their new born baby daughter Maddie Briann — and then take his camera to his friendly neighborhood Wal-Mart so that he could make a few copies of said photos. It never occurred to him that processing photos of his very famous family at a place like Wal-Mart might not be the best idea, especially since those Wal-Mart employees make minimum wage and the huge pay-out for private Spears family photos can be very high. It now turns out, according to the report, that federal and state authorities have gotten involved to help track down the photo peddlers because the exposed breast photo of JL is considered “child pornography” since she is still underage, even tho she’s already a mother. Um. Yeah:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ federal and local authorities are on the hunt for someone peddling 12 pics of Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn, daughter Maddie and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. One of the pictures shows Jamie Lynn breast feeding Maddie — Jamie Lynn’s left breast is exposed. The pics were taken on Casey’s digital camera. We’re told he took the camera card to his local Wal-Mart in Louisiana for copies. Law enforcement believes someone at the Wal-Mart may have made extra copies, then tried selling them. Because Jamie Lynn is a minor, selling the pics — or buying them — could constitute a violation of federal laws prohibiting pornography. Peddling pictures of a minor’s breast — even if not taken for sexual purposes — could land the seller and the buyer in federal prison if they are marketed across state lines for the purpose of being lurid. Also, anyone purchasing the pics could be prosecuted for the crime of receiving stolen property. Other pics in the set include Britney holding the baby and one of Jamie Lynn, Britney, Brian (Brit’s bro), Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears around Jamie Lynn’s hospital bed. There are also pics of Maddie by herself, and there’s a picture of Jamie Lynn in a negligee holding the baby. Authorities are trying to find the man who is attempting to sell the photos. In addition, we’re told Britney’s lawyers are thinking about going after Wal-Mart for the alleged security breach.

I mean … really? It never occurred to Casey that developing photos like this at Wal-Mart might be a bad idea? While it is grossly unfair that celebrities have to take extra precautions with things like this, I think it makes a wee bit more sense to mebbe invest in a $100 photo printer to print out personal pics like this? Mebbe? I mean, yes I understand that the Wal-Mart person is ultimately responsible for this heinous crime but I simply cannot believe that Casey would be this dumb. Actually, considering the situation he got him and his teenage lover in by practicing unsafe sex, I can believe he is this dumb.

For the record, the photo above of JL and MB is not one of the pilfered pics but is a photo snapped by OK! magazine after MB‘s birth. You can tell it’s not one of Casey‘s photos cuz JL‘s breasts are fully covered.

On Sunday, we got to see a few pics of the party from a far-off vantage point. Yesterday, we got to see a few close-up pics of Mama Lynne Spears posing with her newest grandbaby Maddie Brianne. Today we get a whole slew of photos of almost the entire Spears clan (only big brother Bryan Spears is missing) happily enjoying quality time with one another … I must admit, these pics damn near bring a tear to my eye:

They’ve all struggled thru a long, tough road over the past few years. They weren’t always unified but I have always contended that they have always loved and supported one another. Oh yes, you can still see that Maddie Briann looks very much like her papa Casey Aldridge (who I believe was not in attendance at yesterday’s Spears family birthday party). It’s still pretty insane to think that Jamie Lynn Spears is this baby’s mother but … well, we’ve been over all of that before. It really looks like everyone had a great time at the party yesterday … the Spears family seems happy and unified at long last. Now that we have a release date for Britney‘s new album, we can look to the future and move forward. I’m amazed at all the struggle that this family has been thru over the past few years and yet … they keep on, keepin’ on. I just hope that they are finally able to move forward as happily and as healthily as possible. I also hope this is the end of all the baby-makin’ but … well … I guess we’ll take things as they come. It’s been a long year for the Spears family … hopefully the best is yet to come.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Maddie Briann, first born daughter of teen parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge, out and about … and when she had been spotted in public, she’d been completely covered from sight. In fact, we’ve not been able to see Maddie‘s cute little face since her photospread in OK! magazine came out in July … but at last, here she is. Here are pics of Maddie with her mama JL and with her grandmama Lynne Spears out and about in McComb, MS over the weekend:

OK, even tho it’s pretty impossible to tell for sure, it looks to me that little Maddie is starting to look more like JL now. Her little profile really does make her look just like her mother. Casey-Lynn have been doing a pretty good job of keepin’ their newborn baby underwraps since her birth, which is a bit surprising considering that they agreed to have their weeks old baby appear in magazines sold around the world. In any event, I’m glad to see that things appear to be going well for the family. Last we heard, there was a rumor that JL had “left” Casey to live at home in Kentwood, LA with her mother Lynne Spears … seeing her back in Mississippi is an encouraging sign that things are still on track for the young family … good for them!!
