Secondly … well, you’re gonna have to look behind the cut to find out which older man was spotted in the close company of JL and her daughter MB …

Maddie Briann doesn’t get to spend much time with aunt Brit Brit so I’m sure she appreciates this time together. With all the touring that’s been going on this year, Britney hasn’t really had much time to hang with her family as much as she’d prolly like to. Sure, she’ll meet up with them along the way as the tour carries on but it’s not the same as everyday contact. It’s really encouraging to know that Britney’s handlers are making sure to keep her connected with her family as much as possible as she works her ass off on tour. Our dear Britney still has many more US dates ahead of her and then she jets off to Australia for some shows there … the end of the road isn’t really in sight for her just yet … which is why I’m sure she is really enjoying this little vacy with her family in Miami.

Britney will be performing a couple concerts in the area this week so she clearly thought it would be fun to bring together members of her family for a little bonding time in Miami. It’s great to see them as a happy family, together again. After all the drama this family has been thru in recent years, it’s nice to see that all that seems to be water under the bridge … and life ahead looks happy and sunny. It’s crazy how big Maddie has grown … she’s like a little kid already. It’s just so cool to see them all bonding like one big happy family.

can be a real drag sometimes.

Whew! I’m glad that rumor has been debunked. I’m sure a great many of you were standing on any number of high buildings and bridges all around the world racked with worry that Jamie Lynn and Casey were on the outs. I’m sure it comes as a HUGE relief to so many of you rooting for this couple to beat the odds and stay together forever. Tho, I imagine it comes as NO RELIEF to see that Casey has no problem smoking around his infant daughter or that JL seems to let him. Blah.

Unfortch, babydaddy Casey Aldridge got into a car accident on Sunday when he lost control of his truck and flipped it, resulting in injuries to Casey and 3 other passengers. It is being reported that Casey will be moved from ICU so he should be OK but JL and MB packed up their shizz and flew back home to Louisiana so that they could be with Casey during his recuperation. This is the first time that we’ve seen Maddie Briann in quite some time … I believe the last time we saw her she was still a tiny thing being pushed around in a stroller. She has grown considerably since we saw her late last year. It’s still strange to think of Jamie Lynn as a mother but, as I understand it, she and Casey have been holding their own as parents. Except for Casey’s wild ride this weekend, the couple have remained out of trubs and have been keeping well out of sight. I suppose JL and Maddie will stay out of sight for the duration of Casey’s recuperation but it was nice to get a peek at the little girl after all these months.

You know, in these tough economic times it makes total sense to be as frugal as possible when it comes to our shopping practices. While my discount store of choice is Target, I really can’t hate on JL for smartly recognizing that it is very wise to pinch as many pennies as possible. It really looks like she is settling into motherhood with some semblance of normalcy. While she may still get papped in Mississippi, I imagine that she is able to go thru her normal day much easier than she would if she lived in SoCal. And what was papa Casey Aldridge doing while his ladies where shopping at Walmart? After the jump, find out …

Again, good ol’ boy Casey was doing what any normal 19-year old father with a family to support might be doing on a lazy Saturday afternoon … he was warshin’ his monster truck, y’all:

You know, I may give Casey some good-matured ribbing but I am a bit impressed with the lad. I recall that as soon as Kevin Federline sunk his hooks into Britney Spears (and her enormous bank accounts) he started tooling around town in expensive cars. Not so, for Casey. He is still drivin’ around in the massively oversize pickup truck that he had before he impregnated Jamie Lynn. While I’m not too fond of the couple’s spawning practices, I’m happy to see that they continue to stay together as a family and I am glad to see that they are still acting as any unwed teenage parents might in their everyday lives, despite JL’s riches. They’ve still got some growin’ up to do but as long as they do so in as normal a way as possible, they just might make it after all.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ federal and local authorities are on the hunt for someone peddling 12 pics of Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn, daughter Maddie and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. One of the pictures shows Jamie Lynn breast feeding Maddie — Jamie Lynn’s left breast is exposed. The pics were taken on Casey’s digital camera. We’re told he took the camera card to his local Wal-Mart in Louisiana for copies. Law enforcement believes someone at the Wal-Mart may have made extra copies, then tried selling them. Because Jamie Lynn is a minor, selling the pics — or buying them — could constitute a violation of federal laws prohibiting pornography. Peddling pictures of a minor’s breast — even if not taken for sexual purposes — could land the seller and the buyer in federal prison if they are marketed across state lines for the purpose of being lurid. Also, anyone purchasing the pics could be prosecuted for the crime of receiving stolen property. Other pics in the set include Britney holding the baby and one of Jamie Lynn, Britney, Brian (Brit’s bro), Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears around Jamie Lynn’s hospital bed. There are also pics of Maddie by herself, and there’s a picture of Jamie Lynn in a negligee holding the baby. Authorities are trying to find the man who is attempting to sell the photos. In addition, we’re told Britney’s lawyers are thinking about going after Wal-Mart for the alleged security breach.

I mean … really? It never occurred to Casey that developing photos like this at Wal-Mart might be a bad idea? While it is grossly unfair that celebrities have to take extra precautions with things like this, I think it makes a wee bit more sense to mebbe invest in a $100 photo printer to print out personal pics like this? Mebbe? I mean, yes I understand that the Wal-Mart person is ultimately responsible for this heinous crime but I simply cannot believe that Casey would be this dumb. Actually, considering the situation he got him and his teenage lover in by practicing unsafe sex, I can believe he is this dumb.

For the record, the photo above of JL and MB is not one of the pilfered pics but is a photo snapped by OK! magazine after MB’s birth. You can tell it’s not one of Casey’s photos cuz JL’s breasts are fully covered.

Britney, mum LYNNE, dad JAMIE, sister JAMIE LYNN and the teen’s newborn daughter MADDIE watched Sean and his brother driving their presents of electric cars at the star’s Los Angeles home … After reclaiming her gorgeous figure in the gym, she’s now gearing up to release her comeback album Circus in December. The collection, which is issued on her 27th birthday, features songs penned by some of the planet’s mightiest hit-makers. DR. LUKE, DANJA, MAX MARTIN, BLOODSHY & AVANT and GUY SIGSWORTH, who between them have composed chart-toppers for the likes of KATY PERRY, PINK, KYLIE MINOGUE and MADONNA, have all contributed tracks … Looks like it could be a very merry Christmas in the Spears household this year.

I know I say this all the time but I’m gonna keep on saying it … I am SO THRILLED at how much healing has taken place in the Spears family. They’ve all struggled thru a long, tough road over the past few years. They weren’t always unified but I have always contended that they have always loved and supported one another. Oh yes, you can still see that Maddie Briann looks very much like her papa Casey Aldridge (who I believe was not in attendance at yesterday’s Spears family birthday party). It’s still pretty insane to think that Jamie Lynn Spears is this baby’s mother but … well, we’ve been over all of that before. It really looks like everyone had a great time at the party yesterday … the Spears family seems happy and unified at long last. Now that we have a release date for Britney’s new album, we can look to the future and move forward. I’m amazed at all the struggle that this family has been thru over the past few years and yet … they keep on, keepin’ on. I just hope that they are finally able to move forward as happily and as healthily as possible. I also hope this is the end of all the baby-makin’ but … well … I guess we’ll take things as they come. It’s been a long year for the Spears family … hopefully the best is yet to come.

OK, even tho it’s pretty impossible to tell for sure, it looks to me that little Maddie is starting to look more like JL now. Her little profile really does make her look just like her mother. Casey-Lynn have been doing a pretty good job of keepin’ their newborn baby underwraps since her birth, which is a bit surprising considering that they agreed to have their weeks old baby appear in magazines sold around the world. In any event, I’m glad to see that things appear to be going well for the family. Last we heard, there was a rumor that JL had “left” Casey to live at home in Kentwood, LA with her mother Lynne Spears … seeing her back in Mississippi is an encouraging sign that things are still on track for the young family … good for them!!
