Last night David and I got our party at at the Cinco de Mayan event thrown by Lucha VaVoom at the Mayan Theater in downtown LA:

David and I attended our first Lucha VaVoom show last October on our first official Date Night together so we were very excited for last night’s special Cinco de Mayo show. Last night was Date Night for David and me and because it was my turn to choose, I decided that we would do something that neither of us have ever done before but I have ALWAYS wanted to. Ever since I moved to LA over 3 years ago, my good friend Adriana has been urging me to go see Lucha VaVoom! I’ve always been curious about Mexican Masked Wrestling and I can appreciate a good burlesque show so I was intrigued … but every time the show took place here in LA, I was out of town. This year, thankfully, David and I were in town to see it … and it was a blast:

The masked wrestlers and burlesque dancers (Sexo Y Violencia) were really fantastic … here are some scans from the show program of last night’s performers:
