Lily Allen was one of the distinctive guests at the Omega Constellation party at Almada in the UK and was spotted (very easily) making her way out of the party while wearing a very eye-catching hot pink hooded Marc Jacobs coat … behold:

Now, y’all know I love pink but … this is … a bit ……… much. The coat itself isn’t too terrible and I quite like the fetching hot pink color … but the coned hood just takes this look into ridiculous land. Dunce cap meets pink Klansman is not really a look that I think people really want to go for. Because Lily likes to stand out and make a statement, I’m sure she loved the attention. I just don’t think I really like this look, awesome pinkness notwithstanding. What do y’all think … is this look a hit or a miss? I just hope they don’t make it in white :/

Lily Allen has been tapped as the new celebrity spokesmodel for the Chanel fashion house. As an ardent fan of their handbags, Lily seems the perfect person to promote the new line of Chanel Coco Cocoon purses … tho, ripping off the Audrey Hepburn look for the campaign seems a bit too obvious to me:

She’s rarely seen out without one of her coveted collection of Chanel handbags. So perhaps it is no surprise that when Lily Allen branched out into modelling she chose the label. Newly released photos from an upcoming campaign show her cuddling bags from the Chanel Coco Cocoon range in undisguised delight. The photos were taken by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfield himself and show a playful Lily, unashamedly acting up for the camera. In other shots the 24-year-old wears a huge tiara and black catsuit as she pulls her sunglasses off her nose. Recently she revealed: ‘I don’t feel comfortable modelling – it’s not something that comes naturally to me, especially when I’m working with fashion photographers because they’re used to working with really tall, skinny and beautiful models and I’m very aware that I’m 5ft 2in and a size 12.’ But her worries were unfounded, as the petite singer looks her best in the photos.

Clearly Lily is interested in endeavors other than those that involve music … I understand she is also launching her own line of jewelry as well. These promo photos are very lovely but I still think they’re too obvious. Hopefully the next time she does a bit of modeling she’ll do so as herself rather than in the guise of someone else.

British songstress Lily Allen has been tweeting on her official Twitter profile about her visit to Africa where she is currently on safari. As a result, she has also been sharing a few photos of her adventures with her Twitter followers … here are a few of them:

Lily Allen has escaped the urban jungle of London for the wide open plains of Africa. The singer, who is on a safari holiday, told of her delight at seeing such an array of wildlife so close. But she admitted feeling guilty about taking pictures of the animals – when she so hates being hunted down by the paparazzi in her own natural habitat. ‘I am in the most amazing place I have ever been, going on a game drive inabit [sic]. Saw some antelope earlier. Wish you were here x,’ she posted on her Twitter page. ‘Safari is something I’ve always wanted to do. Don’t thing ill sleep tonight [sic].’ However, it’s clear she’s not exactly missing everyone as she unleashed a foulmouthed broadside at the photographers usually on her trail at home. ‘I already feel guilty about exploiting the animals with my camera, I’ve got a big long lenz, reminds me of some cunts I know,’ she wrote … Lily is enjoying a break before travelling to Australia and Japan, and taking on a heavy festival tour schedule.

Firstly, I love Lily Allen … she’s a pistol, that one. Second, what an amazing experience … I don’t know that I’m really cut out to go on safari but I imagine it is a life-changing experience. At least Lily is sharing her adventures so that we can live vicariously thru her. See, this is why I love Twitter so much. I am wholly fascinated to hear about stuff like this from other people. Keep on tweeting, y’all … I can’t get enough. Incidentally, I’ll be tweeting thru out the NIN/JA show tonight so … stay tuned!!

Last night I met up with my friends Ollie, Mark, Caleb, Irene and Darion at Ollie’s place for a fun pre-concert dinner that she cooked ahead of the Lily Allen concert at The Wiltern Theater here in LA last night. The pre-concert fun was so chill … we had a blast … but once we finished eating Ollie’s amazing turkey burgers, we made our way to The Wiltern to see Lily in concert:

Last night was my first Lily Allen show and she did not disappoint. She looked great, she sounded great and we all had a blast. The last song of the night was Lily’s cover of Britney Spears’s song Womanizer and for a brief few moments Lindsay Lohan came out on stage to say hello to the crowd:

As I said, we all had so much fun. My fave performance was her song Fuck You which she got everyone to sing along with her. The whole place was joyously singing along with middle fingers in the air … twas fun, twas fun. Darion even managed to get some video of us singing (badly) with Lilly on Fuck You which you can watch (and cringe at) HERE.

After the concert, we made our way back to Ollie’s apartment for cupcakes and an impromptu photoshoot:

I seriously have the coolest friends ever … I love them all dearly :)

Lily Allen has arrived in Southern California to begin her latest US tour in support of her new album It’s Not Me, It’s You and upon touching down at LAX Airport this week, she went directly to the closest In-N-Out Burger joint in sight to fill up on, among other things, their delicious milkshakes … behold:

Having partaken (partook?) in the wonderful milkshakes at In-N-Out myself on numerous occasions, I can’t say that I blame her one bit. Think melted ice cream that you suck thru a straw. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I’m very happy to see that Lily arrived here in the States safe and sound cuz Darion and I are going to see her at The Wiltern this Thursday night … and I’m very excited. I’ve never seen her in concert before so I’m really looking forward to the show. Perhaps I’ll see if Darion is up for grabbing a bite to eat at In-N-Out on our way to the show … we could even pick up a shake or 5 for Lily ;)

Lily Allen, who is notoriously no fan of the swarm of paparazzi that like to follow her around, was snapped in London, England today showing just how much lurve she has for the paps. After Lily was involved in a little fender bender with another driver, she stepped out of her vehicle to share her bottle of water with the photogs who were in her immediate presence:

You gotta love that Lily, even in her agitated and somewhat stressed state, was only thinking of the paparazzi’s thirst in the moments after her accident. While other celebs in the same situation might curse or even attack the paps, Lily only sought to quench any thirsts that might be plaguing the photogs who were hard at work. What a well gal! Lily’s really only thinking about the comfort of others here, you know? Man, I love this chick!

Popstress Lily Allen is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Q magazine with few beautiful panthers to share the spotlight. At first, I guessed that Lily was merely posing with totally Photoshopped panthers but behind-the-scenes photos show that there were real life panthers on set with her. So cool. Here is Lily’s cover and a portion of her coverstory interview with the mag:

Lily Allen stripped off for her riskiest photoshoot yet as she posed topless beside two ferocious panthers. Wearing nothing but a pair of diamond-squared hotpants, opaque tights and platform heels, the Smile singer appears to show none of ‘The Fear’ she sings about in her latest single. The sexy shoot for Q magazine took place last month, just hours after the 23-year-old singer jetted in from the Caribbean … While the singer appears brave (and perhaps a little insane) to be standing so close to the predatory animals, it turns out Lily was not put at risk and the big cats were simply digitally added in. In another fun shot, it looks like Lily is taking to the dancefloor with three panthers as she shimmies in between them in a purple fringed dress. Shot by photographer John Wright, Lily poses in a series of skimpy outfits with her newfound friends from Buckinghamshire’s Amazing Animals, who were handled by experienced trainers during the challenging shoot. In the accompanying interview, Lily discusses the new ‘hunk’ in her life, Audio Bullys DJ Tom Dinsdale, despite being photographed with Jopling just days earlier. The interviewer even claims Lily French kisses Dinsdale in front of him. She tells the magazine: “The hunk in my kitchen… Well, he’s hot. He’s cute, isn’t he? I had a sleep-over two nights ago and he came along.” In the interview, Lily also admits she is in regular contact with ex-boyfriend Ed Simons, who she split from in January last year after a five-month relationship. The couple ended their relationship shortly after Lily suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage. She explained: “We still speak two times a week, he texts me all the time, making sure I’m all right. We never were not friends, it just became difficult. Because there was so much pain associated with everything that happened, for me I just needed to get away. But we still love each other. And we talk all the time and maybe one day we’ll get back together. But I don’t know. Not right now.” She also tells the magazines she has visited several lapdancing clubs, despite finding them “embarrassing”.

I really love this Q photospread and I am really loving Lily Allen these days. While I kinda liked her debut album, Alright, Still, I am TOTALLY enraptured by her new album It’s Not Me, It’s You. I can listen to her hit single The Fear on repeat for days … tho, I don’t cuz I don’t want David to leave me.
