Yesterday we saw super hot photos of Thor actor Chris Hemsworth at the beach here in SoCal and today we get to see him posing for Who magazine with his younger brother Liam. The Hemsworths were selected for the magazine’s 100+ Beautiful People of 2011 issue and posed together for their photo. With Hemsworth promoting Thor and filming The Avengers and Liam working hard on The Hunger Games, the time seems ripe for the Hemsworth brothers to take over the world.

On Monday we got to see the first photos of the North Carolina set of The Hunger Games, which went into filming production this week, and today we get our FIRST LOOK at actors Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Willow Shields on the set of The Hunger Games. As you should be well aware by now, Lawrence will play Katniss Everdeen, Hemsworth will play Gale Hawthorne and Shields will play Primrose Everdeen. Thank the GODS … we are SO close to the release of the first big superhero blockbuster film of the year with Thor‘s opening this Friday. But last night, at Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the celebs came out for the Hollywood premiere of the film. While Thor celebrated its world wide premiere in Sydney, Australia (star Chris Hemsworth‘s hometown) last month, the big shindig was saved for Tinsel Town. Last month we learned that actress Jennifer Lawrence won the coveted role of Katniss Everdeen in the big screen adaptation of The Hunger Games and it was widely rumored that Weeds star Hunter Parrish would get the male lead role as Peeta Mellark. Today we learn that Hunter did NOT get the role (boo!) because Josh Hutcherson (The Kids are Alright) has been cast as Peeta and Liam Hemsworth (The Last Song) has been cast as Gale Hawthorne.

On-again / Off-again couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were so off-again this Summer that the couple broke up twice … first in June and then, for serious, in August. Well, the off-again nature of Liley‘s torrid romance is off-again … er, meaning that the couple are on-again. Got it? Miley has been away from SoCal for the past few months working on new films in Detroit, MI and Paris, France … but this week, she returned home to LA and the waiting lips of apparent on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Absence makes the heart go fonder – just ask Miley Cyrus. The 17-year-old was caught in a very passionate clinch with her on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, 20, in Los Angeles yesterday. The Disney star was dropping the Australian actor off after an outing together, with the couple’s farewell kissing session lingering for more than ten minutes. Hemsworth’s spokesperson revealed the pair, who first met on the set of teen drama The Last Song in 2009, had split last month But it’s clear their separation is most certainly over. The first sign they had rekindled their romance came over the weekend when they were spotted running errands together. An eyewitness told People: ‘Miley and Liam kept smiling and seemed to really enjoy their afternoon together. They acted like they had missed each other, kept chatting and seemed to be catching up. They definitely seemed like a couple again. Since Miley returned to LA from [a movie shoot in] Europe earlier in the week, she has acted a bit tired and worn out,’ the source continued. ‘With Liam back in her life on Saturday, she acted totally different and, instead, seemed very happy. Back in June we heard that Last Song costars Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, who met and “fell in love” on the set of their film last year, had broken up … but it turns out that the couple were merely on the verge of breaking up. Today we learn from E! News‘s Ted Casablancas that Miley and Liam kinda broke up at the end of the Summer but then kinda stayed together for a while but have, at last, finally broken up for reals! He’s been a distraction.” “[Miley's] not with anybody else,” emphasizes our source. Does that mean Liam could be? Some sources are claiming it’s Hemsworth who may not have been tamed during parts of their relationship … Sources claim to have seen Liam hooking up with another babe, not Miley, … in Huntington Beach where he was … partying during the US Open Surf Competition. As we told you, shortly after his shady behavior down south that weekend, Liam went to Detroit to visit Miley on the set of LOL, making it his second trip since she arrived July 12 to see his Cyrus. LOL! Reporting on the torrid romantic relationships of teenagers is just silly … of course they’re gonna break up then make up then break up again. Still, I know some folks out there are very interested in Miley Cyrus‘s private life so there you have it. Homegirl is now single in Detroit Rock City. Personally, I think it’s her loss. Liam Hemsworth is a fine hunk of spunk and I can appreciate how a strapping young lad like himself might like to be in the company of fine young ladies while his popstar/actress/whatever girlfriend is out of sight. The Hannah Montana star’s hunk Liam Hemsworth moved out of her new Los Angeles home after a nasty fight that had them hurling bitter accusations at each other, say sources. The breakup comes on the heels of a headline-making scandal – the surfacing of a tape showing Miley dirty-dancing a raunchy lap dance to a 45-year-old producer at a party. LMAOOOO! As much as I’d love to believe the ridiculous details of this split are true, I’m thinking there is more than just a little imaginative fiction going on here. It should be noted, tho, that since both Miley and Liam are relatively young, it’s entirely possible that they’ve just grown tired of one another and are ready to move on. Well, well know … lookie here. It seems as if love has bloomed on the set of Miley Cyrus‘s new film The Last Song which just wrapped production in Tybee, GA. As you may know, Miley co-stars with Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth who plays her love interest on-screen … but it appears that their relationship has spilled over into real life. The couple were spotted making out together at an airport in Nashville, TN this week … making it pretty evident that the two are romantically involved … behold:

It looks like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are more than just friendly costars. Last Wednesday, as Cyrus bid Australian actor Liam Hemsworth goodbye at the Nashville airport, the two kissed – and were “full-on making out,” says Alex Emanuel, a New York actor who was a few feet away from the couple and saw Cyrus, 16, act “as giddy as a schoolgirl.” Hemsworth jumped out of Cyrus’s truck with his luggage and headed for the terminal doors when “she jumped into his arms and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him and leaned back and he was dipping her,” says Emanuel. “It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy’s getting on a train and they’re saying their goodbyes.” The two actors recently wrapped the film The Last Song (also starring Kelly Preston and Greg Kinnear) in Tybee, Georgia, and attended the film’s wrap party together on Aug. 16. Dang, girl! Miley went from being involved with Justin Gaston, to being involved with Nick Jonas and now Liam Hemsworth all in the span of just three months. Homegirl moves fast! She must go thru lots of chap stick, damn. Well, I guess we are now witnessing the birth of Liley … which follows in the tradition of Niley and Jiley. Miley Cyrus, currently in Savannah, GA working on a new film titled The Last Song, spent much of her day yesterday employed in the biz of filming the first scenes for her new movie. Miley was paired up with her Song co-star Liam Hemsworth for a scene that takes place in the waters off the Savannah coastline … a scene that involves a whole lotta smoochin’ … behold:

She’s just announced she has ‘reconnected’ with her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas following the break-down of her romance with Justin Gaston. But from the look of these photographs neither was on Miley Cyrus’s mind yesterday. Her shirt transparent in the sea water, Miley was pictured passionately kissing her co-star Liam Hemsworth while filming The Last Song in Savannah. As the cameras rolled the two ran into the waves, with Liam picking up a laughing Miley and swinging her around. And 16-year-old Miley certainly enjoyed filming the flirty scenes with the tall, young Aussie who rolled off the Neighbours production line.

Oh yeah … it looks like tough work. Shoot, I say get it gurl! If you can make millions by frolicking in the surf with a hot guy AND you have to kiss him over and over again … um, you go for it. At least Miley‘s “reconnected” beau Nick Jonas was bizzy performing in the UK to worry too much about what Miley was being paid to do with Liam in Savannah. As for Justin Gaston, well, I suspect he’s off writing plaintive love songs somewhere — paying very close attention to what Miley is doing in Savannah. I really hope we get to hear one soon! Oh and Miley … don’t work too hard … Jesus is watching ;)
