While enjoying a stroll with their nanny this week, Levi Alves and Vida Alves — the young children of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves — took a short break to play together … in the street. Now, I’m certain the nanny kept a close eye on the young’ns but don’t these little kids seem awfully young to be playing in the street at all?

It wasn’t that long ago that the sight of Matthew McConaughey wearing little more than boardshorts and flip-flops was a daily occurrence … but since he settled down with babymama Camila Alves and fathered two children with her, Matthew‘s shirtless days have been few and very far between. When once he would be shirtless in his front yard, at the grocery store, at church (not really) now we only get to see him shirtless at the beach … and not even then because he now likes to cover up with a wet suit. But, at last, Matty boy decided to get back to the good ol’ days when clothing was a option he would normally opt out of … here are photos of Matthew with his son Levi Alves at the beach in Malibu, CA yesterday afternoon:

Ah yes … I remember these pecs. It’s been a while since we’ve seen them, tho. But you know, in all honesty, as much as it would be nice to see the man half-nekkid all day every day again I much prefer the more settled Matthew McConaughey to the previously more wild, less dressed Matthew McConaughey. I think is role as father has really changed him for the better and whether he’s clothed or not, it makes him seem all the sexier. At least now we know we can count on him to share the flesh every once-in-a-while … and that is always a good thing.

In years past, we’ve spent some time admiring photos of once single playboy Matthew McConaughey hittin’ the surf here in SoCal in various states of undress. Since becoming a father and somewhat settling down with babymama Camila Alves, Matthew has ditched his playboy image and behavior … but he has remained a active surfer. This weekend, he and young son Levi Alves did a bit of surfing (not together) to unofficially kick off the 2010 Summer Surf Season:

Sure, these photos might be a tad bit hotter if Matthew were wearing less (I mean, it’s like pulling teeth to get him to go shirtless when it wasn’t that long ago that you couldn’t pay the man to wear a shirt in public) but I love seeing photos of him at the beach with his children. it really is very cool to see that Matthew has grown up considerably in the past few years. I know this won’t be the last photo we’ll see of the McConaughey men at the beach … in no time at all, father and son will be riding the waves together. I am very much looking forward to seeing those photos one day.

Here are a few adorable photos of the McConaughey-Alves family — Matthew, Camila, Levi and Vida — as they made their way out of a pre-Easter birthday party in Mailbu, CA on Saturday afternoon. As you can see, the picture perfect family were lookin’ happy as can be to be celebrating together this Easter weekend:

This is quite a beautiful family that Matthew has made for himself. Two beautiful children, a loving babymama and a career that keeps them all well taken-care of … what more could one ask for? Something tells me that Matthew and Camila aren’t quite done with the baby-makin’ just yet … but it’s hard to see how they can improve on perfection ;)

While mother and daughter pair Nicole Richie and Harlow Winter were bizzy lookin’ all kinds of cute here in LA yesterday, father and son pair Matthew McConaughey and Levi Alves were making their way out and about in NYC, NY. Here are a few cute pics of Matthew and his adorable little hobo son chillin’ in Central Park yesterday afternoon:

Awww … even dressed as a hobo, Levi is still adorable! I understand that mama Camila Alves was bizzy at a Bravo TV media event so the duty to care for Levi fell to Matthew … from what I understand, the guys had a great time in the city together. They make a cute pair … I’d love to see more of these two out and about in NYC this week.

Here are a few supercute pics of mama Camila Alves and her first born son Levi Alves enjoying a playdate together on a playground here in SoCal yesterday afternoon … as you can tell, Camila‘s baby bump filled with more spawn of Matthew McConaughey‘s spooge continues to grow every day:

I love little Levi … he is so cute … but Mama Alves needs to start dressing the little guy better. These clothes are too big for him, they make him look like a tiny little man walking around instead of an adorable little boy. You know, I’m not sure that better fitting clothing would actually make Levi look less like a little man, actually … he’s just one of those babies. But anyways … Camila‘s baby bump looks like it’s coming along nicely … it won’t be too long until she pops again. I’m thinkin’ she and Matthew will have a little girl this time around … yes?

Here are a few photos of Matthew McConaughey doing a bit of handy work around his home in Malibu, CA (in various states of undress) while his grandmother/nanny looks after his son, Levi Alves. As you may recall, we recently saw photos of Granny Alves yanking little Levi up by his right arm while he was playing at the beach … I’m not trying to overworry here but, it really looks like he is missing his right arm entirely in these photos:

I mean, I know that Levi didn’t have his arm pulled off by his overzealous grandmother but it is humorous how you cannot see his arm at all in these photos. I really do hope the little guy wasn’t injured by granny’s need to manhandle the little dude. As for Matthew, it’s been so long since we’ve seen him out in public sans shirt that I don’t even know what to say. The only thing that would make these pictures even awesomer would be a cameo by McConanaughey‘s new pet bird. These people need a reality show, don’t you think?

Ouch!! Little Levi Alves McConaughey, first born son of Matthew McConaughey and his babymama Camila Alves, spent part of his yesterday frolicking on the beach with his pet dogs and his very aggressive nanny*. Wanna know how I know the nanny is aggressive? Check out how she likes to yank around the little kid when she grabs a hold of him:

No matter how much fun kids think it is, children at this age should not be lifted up and yanked by their arms … and they really shouldn’t be yanked by one arm like this. It is my understanding that at this very young age, kids’ muscles and tendons are still being formed and trauma to their joints like this can do damage … plus, it does look painful. Now, I’m not sure that Levi‘s parents are aware that their little boy is being yanked around like this but I know I wouldn’t want anyone manhandling my child like this. Poor thing :(

But, Levi‘s day at the beach wasn’t all bad … he got to spend some time playing with the family dogs. After the jump, check out two more photos of Levi at the beach with his furry buddies …

Labor Day or not, the McConaugheys really love spending time at the beach so it’s not really surprising in the least that they would make yesterday a beach day. It is always really fun seeing photos of Matthew spending time with his baby boy … they make an adorable couple. Very soon, Camila will be bringing forth the fruit of her loins and their little family will be a wee bit bigger and, most likely, a whole lot cuter. Aren’t they just the cutest?

Over the weekend we saw photos of Matthew McConaughey and his first born son Levi Alves enjoying a day at the beach together and today we get to see a couple more beachy pics but this time with mama Camila Alves and her burgeoning baby bump. Here are pics of Camila, Matthew and their 1 1/2 kids in Malibu, CA yesterday:

While none of them look all too happy, they still make a very cute family. I’m still amazed at how much Matthew has settled down since he started his family with Camila. Seeing him carry around his son is just the cutest thing … and it’s very nice seeing Camila growing another baby in her womb. All this baby makin’ going on … I wonder who’s next.
