Singer, LeAnn Rimes is recuperating after undergoing some minor surgery earlier this week.She hasn’t explained exactly what type of surgery she had to have done, but she tweeted that she is in a lot of pain and mentioned mouth and jaw pain… ouch! LeAnn Rimes and her extramarital lover Eddie Cibrian made a surprise appearance together at a bar called Tail Feathers in Henderson, CO this week to enjoy a night of karaoke (after the pair originally stopped to use the bathroom). Before hitting the road, Rimes entertained the crowd by hopping up on stage and belting out Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” — as Eddie bopped along in the front row.

OY! Well, these two appear to be going strong … even after they each split from their respective spouses, it seems like they are really making a go of their relationship. Some friends and I saw LeEddie together and very smoochy at Universal Studios last October and I understand the pair have been traveling together to fun places like this ever since. On the very same day that once husband Deane Sheremet filed for divorce from his infidelitous musician wife LeAnn Rimes, a divorce settlement was reached between the couple … the terms of which have been confidentially sealed. I would imagine, with the plethora of evidence of LeAnn‘s marital infidelity, that Deane got pretty much everything he wanted from the divorce. But as far as the marriage goes, the couple are officially dunzo!

That was fast. On the same day Deane Sheremet filed for divorce last week from LeAnn Rimes, they agreed to a confidential divorce settlement, Los Angeles court records show. “The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy,” the document reads. The settlement presumably divides their cash, property and other valuables. Both Rimes, 27, and Sheremet, 29, will be legally single after their marital status officially ends on June 19, 2010. Their nearly eight-year marriage crumbled as Rimes began a relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian, who was married at the time to Brandi Glanville. Cibrian and Glanville are also divorcing.

HMMM. Something tells me that LeAnn and her “mistress” Eddie Cibrian won’t be waiting until she reaches “legally single status” to get their creep on again, so legally she’ll still be a cheating wife. Whatever the terms of the divorce are, let’s hope that Deane was able to get what he is due since his wife decided to make a public mockery of their wedding vows.

While the pair were brazen enough to go on a public golfing excursion together a couple of weeks ago, this is the first time that LEddie have been seen in quite a romantic setting … lookin’ all touchy feely … behold:

Blah! These cheating birds of a feather absolutely deserve one another. Except for that survellaince video that outed their extramarital affair in the Spring, this is the first time the couple have been seen in such an amorous light … after they each split from their spouses. I suppose that fact alone means they are not total louses (but does not excuse their very obvious cheating behavior) … but still, seeing them all lovey dovey on holiday so soon after they ditched their spouses is pretty crappy. In the end, I honestly believe that both Brandi and Deane are much better off. To be honest, I don’t expect this LEddie relationship to last … cheaters tend to continue cheating and, IMHO, sooner or later either LeAnn or Eddie is going to cheat on the other — my money is on Eddie.

It turns out that all photos that feature LeAnn and Dean have been removed from the site (save for a small thumbnail photo of the couple under the heading “Miscellaneous”) but a new photo of LeAnn and her rumored paramour Eddie Cibrian has been “Just Added”:

Considering LeAnn and Eddie went public with their relationship last week when new photos of the pair on a golfing date came to light, the switching of Deane‘s photos for Eddie‘s photos shouldn’t be too surprising. While it is sad when any marriage falls apart, I think it’s especially sad when divorce comes on the heels of such public cheating. Sheremet is much better off without his cheating wife … here’s hoping he finds true happiness one day.

It’s a weekly tradition for Rimes to hit the links, and around 1 p.m. she arrived at the Valencia Country Club – shortly after her surprise partner for the afternoon. “Eddie arrived at the private country club in his Porsche a few minutes before LeAnn,” says an eyewitness. “LeAnn was beaming when she saw Eddie and the two gave each other a quick hug. Eddie was sweet and went to buy water and energy drinks from the golf store.” Good move, too: The two spent almost three hours on the golf course in 90-degree heat. “LeAnn was sans makeup and looked very happy and carefree. Whether they are friends or friends with benefits, there is no denying that something is going betwixt these two. Their soon-to-be ex-spouses should be happy, too. The more these two fraternize in public the better they’ll make out when it comes time to pay the piper in divorce court. I wonder what other public sporting activities these two, shall we call them LeEddie, engage in next.

In news that should come as no surprise to pretty much anyone, People magazine is reporting that LeAnn Rimes and hubby Deane Sheremet have separated. In the wake of reports that LeAnn has been creepin’ around on her husband with other men (namely Eddie Cibrian and Dean Cain … but mostly Eddie Cibrian), People quotes sources close to the couple that claim that they haven’t been living together for quite some time … they’re dunzo, y’all:

Four months after reports surfaced that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were allegedly having an affair, a source tells PEOPLE that the country singer is no longer living with her husband, Dean Sheremet. “Le and Dean have been separated for quite some time now, but they’re continuing to try and work through their relationship, a Rimes pal says. The couple married in 2002, when she was only 19. Last August (six months before their seventh anniversary), they threw a “Seven-Year Itch” party to, as Rimes put it, “remember how blessed we are.” … Cibrian, 36, who is joining the cast of C.S.I. Miami this fall, has denied he was having an affair with Rimes, his costar in the Lifetime original movie Northern Lights, which they filmed last fall. In March, the Rimes pal confirmed the singer and Sheremet were having problems in their marriage, but maintained Cibrian was “not the cause,” adding, “There have been issues brewing for months prior to meeting Eddie on set.” The couple’s Nashville home is currently on the market for $7.45 million.

As you may recall, we learned earlier this week that Cibrian and his wife Brandi Glanville announced that they are dunzo … so it makes sense that LeAnn and Deane would be having their problems as well, that is, if these reports of infidelity are to be believed. It really sucks for Sheremet and Glanville to be tied to such seemingly untrustworthy people. They are the ones suffering most in all of this because they are essentially being made fools of in the public eye. However any of this plays out, I hope that the spouses are able to recoup some restitution from their cheating louses … while it’s no substitution for a happy marriage, I’m sure large divorce settlements will go a long way in helping them attain some sense of satisfaction.

What a crappy situation. First LeAnn is creepin’ around with Cibrian, then she’s creepin’ around with Cain … what a horrible situation for her poor husband. Here’s hoping she straightens out her biz soon so that everyone involved can move on. It looks to me like homegirl needs to make up her mind and decide who she wants to be with. It also looks to me that hubby Deane needs to decide how much of these shenanigans he’s willing to put up with.

Celebs of varying degree and caliber made their way out to the Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY for the 135th Kentucky Derby to bet on the horses, drink their mint julips and show off their fancy hats. Here are a few pics of some of the celebs who walked the red carpet at the Derby today:

I gotta say, I love Betheny from The Real Housewives of NYC (mostly because she isn’t a housewife at all and still manages to make that show work … oh yeah, and she’s about 10 secs. away from beating the shizz out of Kelly Bensimone) but I totally hate her entire outfit. I don’t know what she was thinking by wearing that bell-bottomed pantsuit but … yeah. Everyone else looked pretty OK with their snazzy hats. Because of the failing US economy, there is much less glitz at this year’s Derby but still, the celebs are makin’ it work. I don’t know shizz about horse racing but I can appreciate any event where the women are compelled to wear the most ostentatious hats they can find for our mere amusement. No Aretha Franklin hat sightings just yet … but I’ll keep my eye out.
