Apparently he goes by "Joseph" or "Mr. Clean" now
Whoa! How’s this for another blast from the past … Joey Lawrence, who got his start in Hollywood by appearing on Gimme A Break! with the late Nell Carter before finding teen stardom as Joey Russo on Blossom, also popped up in the LA area over the weekend. Here are pics of Joey, wearing a plunging neckline and a totally bald head, with his wife Chandie and his daughter Charli enjoying a nice day at the Farmers Market this weekend:

Joey hasn’t been keeping a very high profile these days … much like former teen star Ian Ziering did, he did appear on Dancing with the Stars (which is a bastion for washed-up actors to try and enjoy the spotlight again). He also enjoyed a stint on Broadway playing (a bald) Billy Flynn in Chicago. Most recently, Joey appeared in a few eps of CSI: New York playing a creepy rapist/killer named Clay Dobson. Eh … I guess he has been keeping himself bizzy over the past few years. I just can’t get used to Joey’s newish look (he’s actually been rockin’ this Mr. Clean-look for many years now) despite the fact that he’s rockin’ a hot bod … I miss the days when he was a burgeoning popstar wannabe with a full head of lush hair — I’m sure many of you weren’t aware that Joey released a pop album back in 1993 … check out his song Nothin’ My Love Can’t Fix (an uptempo pop track complete with a rap interlude — seriously). He’s come a long way from his hey day. It’s nice to see that he’s got himself a nice family and that he’s still around should any Hollywood producers want to come calling. You can prolly find him at the Farmers Market on any given Sunday.
UPDATE: After the jump, check out Joey’s 1993 music video for his song Nothin’ My Love Can’t Fix …
