I have been asked to take part in a teleconference interview with Kylie Minogue in the next few days ahead of the first date of her North American Aphrodite Live Tour which kicks off in Montreal, Quebec on April 28 and then comes to the US in Boston, MA on April 29. It’s likely that I won’t be able to ask too many questions so the one or two that I get to ask have to be perfect.

After trading love letter tweets back and forth on Twitter, Kylie Minogue has gone on the record to say that she would LOVE to collaborate musically with Britney Spears. When asked about the possibility of dueting with Britney on a song, Kylie admitted that she would be very interested in doing so, saying that it would be “awesome”. I can’t even … a collaboration between Kylie and Britney would kill me with happiness.

Kylie Minogue was featured last night on the Aussie TV show Sunday Night as she was interviewed by Molly Meldrum. The piece, meant to showcase the start of her Les Folies Tour 2011 which kicked off in Europe a couple of weeks ago, ended up taking an emotional turn when Kylie started talking about her cancer struggle. Now that she is 5 years cancer-free, Kylie seems more willing to talk about those dark days when she was sick. It’s a poignant and powerful sight to see Kylie share such a personal part of her life in this way.

Yesterday was a fun-filled day of so much awesomeness … I can’t even tell you. The Kylie Minogue concert was just amazing … but after the show, David and I hung out for a bit with our new Berlin friends Mark and Emi for a bit to finish out the night. Earlier today, David and I visited what’s left of the Berlin Wall and then spent a leisurely afternoon walking around town. It was not a bad Wednesday, let me tell you.

So … where to begin? Last night David and I got to see Kylie Minogue LIVE in concert on her Les Folies Tour 2011 on her stop here in Berlin, Germany and I can safely say — without question — it was among THE most spectacular shows I’ve ever seen … be it concert, musical, what have you. Kylie‘s Les Folies show is a stunning spectacle for the senses … and one that we were lucky to savor from very close-up in the VIP section called the Splash Zone. Because I’ll be seeing the show live in person myself, I’ve been **trying** to stay away from tour spoilers … but because I am a weak, weak person … I did allow myself to see some of the images and video that have come from last night’s opening night performance.
