Kylie Minogue Spends Hallowe’en In NYC With Some Famous Friends

As you may recall, Kylie Minogue recently performed a short tour of North America in late September and early October ending her run in NYC where she performed 3 triumphant shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Well, Kylie must’ve felt the pull of the Big Apple once again because she was inspired to spend Hallowe’en with some of her American BFFs over the weekend. Here is a great group photo of (from left to right) Lorenzo Martone, Fergie Ferg, Marc Jacobs, Kylie and Andrés Velencoso all dolled up on Hallowe’en:

Okay … so yeah, this will be the last Hallowe’en pic of celebs that I’ll post this year … a few days after Hallowe’en and the candy starts to taste stale, same goes for the pics ;) But this is such a great group shot, I had to share it with all y’all. I understand that these folks were partying at Club 57 at Providence Night Club in Manhattan and a great time was had by all. I believe the folks in the UK (where Kylie lives) don’t do Hallowe’en like we yanks do on this side of the pond so I can see why Kylie decided to fly back to the US to celebrate Hallowe’en right. We are happy to have her anytime she wants to come back :)

Kylie Minogue Does Australian ‘In Style’ Magazine

Kylie Minogue just tweeted a message on her official Twitter account alerting her followers to the fact that she is featured on the cover of the new issue of Australian In Style magazine … behold:

Altho the Aussie In Style website has yet to be updated with anything concerning Kylie’s appearance in the mag, at least we have something to look forward to. I’m not sure that I love this coverphoto, tho … something about the Photoshopping that makes it look fake and weird. Here’s hoping the photos included inside the mag look a bit better. Kylie looks totally 1992 on this cover … which isn’t necessarily a good thing. What do y’all think?

Spend 2010 With Kylie Minogue

Back in August we learned that we could spend all of 2010 with the folks from The Twilight Saga: New Moon and in September we learned that we could do the same with Zac Efron and now we learn that pop goddess Kylie Minogue has also made herself available to us for all 365 days of ‘10. Here is our first look at the official 2010 Kylie Minogue calendar:

Kylie is, once again, featured in a nice batch of fantastic photos to help fans count the days of the new year in style. After the jump, check out the individual photos that represent each month in 2010 …

Some of these photos are also included in the tour book that Kylie sold on her For You, For Me North American Tour a few weeks ago but I think they make great photos for the calendar as well. Much love goes out to the kids at the Say Hey! message board for the calendar scans. This is deffo a great way for Kylie fans to get thru a full year in a very fun way.

Kylie Minogue: Acoustic In NYC

Kylie Minogue, who recently completed a very successful first concert tour of North America, updated her official blog by posting a new video that she recorded backstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC (the venue for her 3 NYC shows last week). Kylie, her backup singers, musical director and guitarist performed an intimate and short set of 2 acoustic tracks … Wow and Red Blooded Woman:

I am in absolute LOVE with this video … Kylie sounds amazing and makes it very evident why she has managed to enjoy such a successful worldwide career in music. Wow is one of my fave upbeat Kylie songs (actually, it’s one of my fave Kylie songs period) and it’s such a treat to hear it performed acoustically. So hot!! I love her voice … it lends itself well to acoustic performances like this. Perhaps this is a sign that Kylie might be willing to gift us with future acoustic performances of her music. LOOOOVE it!!

Kylie Minogue performed the final concert of her first ever North American Tour titled For You, For Me at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, NY last night. After she took her final bows and said her last goodbyes (hopefully, not for long) she and her crew made their way out into NYC to celebrate the completion of a very successful tour. Here are a couple photos of Kylie out on the town in NYC last night:

All the models are wearing it, as are the celebs. And now Kylie Minogue has joined the fashionable ranks of the leather brigade. The pop princess slipped into a form-fitting black leather dress as she ventured out in New York last night. The below-the-knee length of the ensemble, complete with its high neckline, ensured the singer, 41, carried off a truly sexy, but non-trashy, look. She adds to a growing list of star who are opting for leather, which has featured prominently in the autumn catwalk shows. Kate Moss attended Paris Fashion Week in tight-fit leather dress last week, while Victoria Beckham was this week spotted rocking a pair leather trousers with studs. Those who dare to wear it have to be brave, however, as the unforgiving material has a knack of showing up every lump and bump. Pint-sized Kylie, however, naturally carried it off, teaming her outfit with a pair of criss-cross black heels. The Australian singer last night complete her nine-date For You For Me tour in the Big Apple. It marked her first tour of North America and also saw her perform in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Oakland and Toronto. Kylie’s tour was well received by critics, who praised the singer for managing to perform energetic dances while singing live. Variety writer Andrew Barker said: ‘Her voice tends toward tinniness and lacks depth, yet she’s obviously proficient and can hit some very big notes when required – and unlike many of her backing-track-assisted contemporaries, Minogue’s vocals seemed to be entirely live.’ Billboard critic Keith Caulfield added: ‘Let’s be clear – this wasn’t a lip-syncing showcase. Minogue sang live and was in fine voice throughout her set. ‘She has repurposed some of the best moments from her previous globe-trotting outings for her first U.S. tour – thus giving American concertgoers a taste of what they’ve missed all these years.’ Kylie’s costumes on her new tour come from the catwalk collections of Jean Paul Gaultier and Dolce And Gabbana.

Alas … and now the tour is over … and Kylie is going back to Europe where she is (rightfully) beloved and appreciated for being the amazing artist that she is. I was very, very lucky to be able to attend her first two NYC shows as well as her Hollywood, CA and Oakland, CA shows. I never DREAMED I’d be able to see her perform live in the US … let alone be able to see her 4 times in one tour. I just LOVED every second of this tour … had I been able to stay in NYC one more night, I would’ve been there last night, too. Speaking on behalf of all the Minogue fans here in North America, I want to send all my love and thanks to Kylie for finally bringing her tour here to our country … and y’all come back now, ya hear?

Kylie Minogue Performs ‘For You, For Me’ In NYC, NY

Last night I was lucky enough to attend my 4th and final performance of Kylie Minogue’s first ever North American Tour For You, For Me. My good friend Tony and I made our way to the Hammerstein Ballroom last night and managed to get all the way to the front gate right in front of the stage. It was the closest I’ve ever been to Kylie Minogue and it was a THRILL beyond words:

After the jump, you can check out a few of the AMAZING photos I snapped last night … I was all up in her grill so I got a lot of really fantastic photos. Tony managed to get video of Kylie busting out the Cabbage Patch dance move on stage and you can also watch that video behind the cut …

Since I was so close, I managed to take hundreds of awesome photos … watch my Twitter, I’ll post a link to the album when I upload them all in a few days. Hands down, last night was my fave of all the Kylie shows I’ve seen. It is such an exhilarating experience being that close to such an iconic pop icon. I’ve been front row for Madonna shows and for Britney Spears shows but Kylie’s effervescent nature is just infectious …

… and let me assure you, she looks FABULOUS in person. The woman is a true beauty inside and out and I am so thankful she finally decided to bring a tour to the US. Kylie plays her final US show of this tour at the Hammerstein Ballroom again tonight and then … that’s all folks. While I really wish I could go back one last time, it’s time for David and me to get back home to LA.

After the show last night, Tony and I met up with David and his friends Marissa and Shane for drinks at Splash Bar:

Then we called it a night.

And that’s it for our NYC trip … we fly back to SoCal in a few hours and are planning to be home for a while. We have some fun activities to look forward to at home … I’m anxious to get there already ;)

Kylie Minogue THRILLs The Crowd In NYC, NY

Lawd … yesterday was a very bizzy day for me. As you prolly already know, David and I made our way down to Washington DC early yesterday morning to participate at the National Equality March and then came straight back to NYC so that we could attend Kylie Minogue’s first NYC concert EVER at the Hammerstein Ballroom last night:

The show, once again, was freakin’ fantastic. David and I got to see Kylie in Oakland, CA and then again in Hollywood, CA and last night’s show was JUST AS FUN as the previous two. My friend Tony, who is also here in town to see the Kylie shows, managed to get right up front and took a whole bunch of amazing photos. I’m telling you … this show is so damn fun! I am seeing Kylie one.last.time. tonight and I know I’m gonna have a hard time saying goodbye once and for all. The show is just that good. Kylie’s boyfriend Andrés Velencoso was in the hiz last night and it looked like he was having fun, too:

Kylie Minogue Says Goodbye To Los Angeles

Kylie Minogue, who is currently touring North America for the first time ever on her For You, For Me Tour, bid adieu to SoCal yesterday afternoon as she made her arrival at LAX Airport bound for Chicago, IL. As you may recall, Kylie stuck around in LA for an extra day & night after she performed a triumphant show at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday night but finally had to leave our sunny shores for her next concert stop in the Midwest. Here are a couple photos of Kylie making her arrival at the airport yesterday and a couple of photos she posted to her official Twitter profile of her chillin’ in an airport lounge at LAX:

Because I’m kinda familiar with airport lounges all over the place, it looks to me like Kylie and her crew were chillin’ in the Delta/Northwest lounge at LAX yesterday afternoon. It was clear that Kylie really wanted to show off her crazy hot Yves Saint Laurent shoes to her followers on Twitter ;) They’re hawt, I don’t blame her. By now she must be re-settled in Chicago preparing for her show there tonight … those lucky bastards. If you are in Chicago, be on the look out for Ms. Minogue … and if you are going to her show tonight, get ready cuz she’s gonna rock your world.

Kylie Minogue ‘Chow’s Down In Beverly Hills, CA

On Sunday night Kylie Minogue performed a triumphant concert at the famed Hollywood Bowl here in Hollywood, CA, her first every concert in Los Angeles, as part of her first ever North American Tour For You, For Me. Kylie’s next show doesn’t take place until Wednesday night in Chicago, IL so she and her peeps decided to stick around in LA for an extra day to enjoy as much as SoCal has to offer. Here are photos of Kylie with her BFF and creative director William Baker stepping out together for dinner at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, CA last night:

Kylie looked AMAZING as usual … ever the fashionista, she rocked her pretty frock right. I don’t even know what I would do if I ran into Kylie just randomly on streets of LA but I do know that it is so cool having her in town. I honestly never dreamed that she would ever tour here in the US so the prospect of having her play various US cities is still insane to me (even tho I’ve already seen two of her US concerts). I’ll be seeing Kylie in NYC in a few days time … I just can’t get enough. I wonder where Kylie will pop up next.
