Here are a few pics of newlyweds Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi out for a nice stroll along the beach together in Malibu, CA over the weekend lookin’ as if they’ve been married for 50 years already (Ellen‘s hat doesn’t help). The couple, which strolled hand-in-hand, happened to come upon dad Gavin Rossdale and his firstborn son Kingston James (who were also spending the afternoon together at the beach) along the way … check it out:

I swear to all things adorable, I really love Ellen and Portia together. They make such a great couple and they *always* look so happy and content when they are together. They are the perfect portrait of what love looks like. They compliment one another so well and I have a very good feeling that they are going to be together for the rest of their lives. Seeing these two find happiness together gives me hope that true love can actually exist in Hollywood. Hands down, they are one of my fave couples ever … they are truly an inspiration.

Woot! It’s really beginning to sound like my suspicions that Britney Spears will, in fact, be performing at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards next month are correct. E! News is reporting that celebrity hairstylist (and judge on Bravo‘s Shear Genius) Kim Vo has spilled the news that he is designing 3 different hairstyles for Britters for VMAs night — one for red carpet, one for the show and one for her live performance:

[C]hatty hairdresser … Kim Vo … told E! News exclusively that he just may be creating three VMA looks for the “E-mail My Heart” singer. What could Britney possibly need three different hairstyles for? … The first look would obviously be for the red carpet. Vo says he and Brit are still “feeling out” ideas about how that will look. The second style would be for the show itself, probably something “more chic, like a side ponytail.” And look No. 3 would be for her PERFORMANCE! That’s right, we said performance. For such an event, Vo and Brit want something “more quintessential Britney.” “Performance” and “quintessential Britney” said together could only mean our girl is definitely coming back to us.

See, the only thing that gives me pause right now is the bit about the “side ponytail”. Vo saying something like that makes me think that he may be kidding … but that still doesn’t mean that she won’t be performing, my gut still tells me that she will.

And since we’re on the Britney Spears tip, here are a couple of supercute pics of Britney enjoying a lovely afternoon (this past Tuesday) with her son Jayden James (presumably Sean Preston was there, too) and a little friend of his … who just so happens to be Kingston James Stefani-Rossdale:

How cute are these pics … and I love that Gwen is cool with letting Britney watch her baby boy. Mebbe once Gwen finally births her baby, Britney will be asked to do some more babysitting in the future?

Also this week, Brit Brit was seen making her way out of Conway Studios here in LA lookin’ as smiley as can be …

… it’s unclear if she was working on her new album or if she was, perhaps, rehearsing for her rumored VMAs performance. In any event, she looks great and life seems to be going really well for our dear Britney right now. I hope the best is yet to come … we shall soon see.

Now that Angelina Jolie has brought forth the hallowed fruit of her glorious loins (in case you missed it, her twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt were born yesterday, July 12th, my birthday) the Bump Watch moves to Gwen Stefani who is still heavy with child and, most likely, the next celeb to give birth. Gwen and the family have relocated from the UK back to SoCal as she and her, thus far, only begotten child Kingston James were spotted visiting her parents and then friends in Los Feliz, CA yesterday afternoon:

She should be droppin’ her load any day now … so it seems like this second child is going to be born here in the US, possibly at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA where Kingston was born back in May of 2006. It’s too bad that Gwen wasn’t able to give birth yesterday, I understand that only the coolest people are born on July 12th ;)

Well, it looks like Angelina Jolie isn’t the only pregs celeb who is ready to blow … here are a few new pictures of Gwen Stefani enjoying the summer air in London, England with her first born son Kingston James yesterday afternoon. Gwen looks mere milliseconds from exploding baby all over the place. With Angelina settling down for “weeks” of hospital rest ahead of the birth of her twins, Gwen might actually beat her in the birthin’ race:

You know, not matter what the circumstance, whatever the scenario — Gwen Stefani always manages to look her absolute cutest. I’m sure Gwen is pretty much ready to have this baby and be done with pregnancy (hopefully, for a little while) so she might not feel at her peak condition … and yet, she still looks amazing. I suspect that Gwen will be blowin’ up any day now … hopefully she can hold off until sometime next week … I think July 12 would be a great day for a birthday :)

Celebrity baby girls don’t have a lock on all the cuteness these days, the celeb boys can also hold their own in the cute category. Here are a couple pics of a very pregs Gwen Stefani and her firstborn son Kingston James heading out of their London home over the weekend:

Sure, the kiddies are much cuter the younger they are but little Kingston is still very much a cutey. Gwen looks like she’s gettin’ close to birthin’ her next young’n … maybe that is why the fam has relocated to the UK for the time being. While Kingston was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2006, maybe the plan is for baby #2 to be born in London since daddy Gavin Rossdale is a Brit. Wouldn’t that be the perfect way to round out the perfect family? Of course, it’d be even perfecter if the next child born of the Stefani-Rossdale loins were a girl. It won’t be long now ’til we find out just how perfect the perfect family can be.
