A couple weeks ago we saw pics of Kevin Federline lookin’ a bit large and in charge on the streets of SoCal just weeks after he signed on to appear on VH1‘s Celebrity Fit Club in order to lose weight. At the time, it appeared that his baggy clothing might’ve been the cause for his perceived larger size. Today we get to see even newer, more recent photos of K-Fed out and about (at Target, actually) wearing more baggy clothes … and still lookin’ like he put back on the weight that he had lost on Fit Club:

Yeah … red in any shade is not a good look for The Federline. No, not at all.

Kevin Federline, ex-husband of Britney Spears and contestant on the latest season of VH1‘s Celebrity Fit Club, appears to be putting on the pounds that he lost on the competitive reality TV weight-loss show. As you may recall, K-Fed slimmed down considerably from his previous much larger size late last year but in the weeks since his reality TV show ended, it looks like he’s fallen off the wagon … and into a food truck:

In all honesty, these photos could be misleading because we know that K-Fed likes to wear super baggy clothes … tho, when he was slimmer last year he wore more fitted clothing to show off his new look. In an interview back in January, The Federline revealed that it was depression that led to his obesity last year … which begs the question, is he depressed again these days? Perhaps K-Fed is depressed that Michael Lohan is getting all the douchey attention these days and that’s why he’s gaining weight again? As much as I don’t like Kevin Federline, I do not wish obesity on him … so here’s hoping this bit of attention on our part will cheer him up and keep him from dipping (and double-dipping) his hand into the cookie jar.

Kevin Federline proved that he would do anything to make a buck, including packing on the pounds just so he can lose them on reality TV (which, in all seriousness and honesty, is a step up career-wise for the ex-back-up dancer/rapper). K-Fed made his debut on VH1′s competitive reality TV series Celebrity Fit Club this week and proudly showed off just how much weight he was carrying around last year before he joined the show:

It takes a lot of guts to pose in just a pair of skimpy camouflage underwear — but that’s exactly what Kevin Federline did for his first appearance on VH1′s “Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp.” A 232-pound Federleezy took the “before” pics for his stint on the reality show — in which he hoped to shed 30 lbs. During last night’s premiere, Federline told the judges, “I look like a pregnant man.” We’ll see if the show helps K-Fed give birth to a new physique.

Grody to the MAXXX! Ew … the only reason I’m choosing to highlight K-Fed‘s K-Fatness is in the hopes that this brush with reality TV fame will inspire the leech to find other work and stop living off the alimony paid to him by his famous and very wealthy ex-wife. The thought of all of this blubber being piled upon K-Fed‘s lady love Victoria Prince makes me almost feel sorry for her … almost. Are any of y’all rooting for K-Fed‘s success on Celebrity Fit Club?

Kevin Federline, who recently claimed that it was depression that led to his sudden weight gain (which came along right at the perfect time for him to lose all that weight on the VH1 reality TV series Celebrity Fit Club), sat down to talk with Entertainment Tonight about his obesity and, of course, his new TV show. Interestingly enough, in this new interview, K-Fed blames his weight gain on “getting older” and makes no mention of the “depression” he spoke of before:

Back when Kevin Federline was dating and then married to Britney Spears, he was known as K-Fed. More recently, he ballooned up to more than 240 pounds and was meanly re-nicknamed K-Fat. Now the former dancer talks to ET’s Kevin Frazier about turning his life around with the help of VH1′s “Celebrity Fit Club.” “I went through a lot of things and I definitely say that those things contributed to me gaining weight for sure,” says Federline, referring to all the media scrutiny he underwent as a result of his much-publicized split from ex-wife Britney Spears. Federline says that when he saw the much-published photo of himself on the golf course, at first he thought it had been altered. “When I saw this picture, I did not think that I was that big,” he said. “I thought it was Photoshopped. You know? And, then I realized that I was just letting myself go.” Federline attributes his weight gain to getting older and his metabolism slowing down, not dancing anymore and his love for pizza and pasta. So when the call came from “Celebrity Fit Club,” he recognized it as a great way to shed the pounds — and his kids were a big part of that decision. “I still ran around with them a little bit but not as much as I do now,” Federline says. “It was easier to eat more when they were younger because they weren’t as active. Now all of them want to play sports, hit the T-ball and run around the backyard and ride bikes. I could barely make it up the hill on the side of my house.”

I knew it … the “depression” bullshizz never sounded right to me. Federline didn’t start putting on weight until years after his divorce from Britney and after he was happily “in love” with current girlfriend Victoria Prince. It’s kinda gross to think that he would just put on weight so that he could get paid to lose it all over again on national TV. But, I suppose, at least he’s working … that’s the only upside of this idiotic tale. Now, it’s really no secret that I am not the biggest fan of Kevin Federline. From the moment he entered Britney Spears‘s life, I considered him a terrible influence on her and very suspiciously watched him weasel his way deep into her life. I was never impressed with the way he treated her (or her money) and I have been less impressed with his behavior since the pair split. I am willing to give him marginal credit for stepping in to care for his children when Britney couldn’t but, in my mind, parents shouldn’t get “extra credit” merely because they are caring for their children no matter the circumstances — parents are parents always, period. I am giving this preface before I pass along some comments made by K-Fed in a new interview because I find them highly suspicious … in this new interview, he explains that “depression” is what led to the obesity he suffered last year which, coincidentally, occurred right before he scored a role on the VH1 reality TV series Celebrity Fit Club:

For Kevin Federline, the very public struggles came with a private pain, as his 2006 divorce from Britney Spears triggered depression and overeating. “Once you get depressed, you don’t really feel like doing anything,” Federline, 31, tells Access Hollywood. “You’re kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too, or that makes me more depressed. … I mean, it’s a combination of all of those things.” The difference for Federline was that his troubles played out on a public stage. “Everybody knows what happened with me and Brit,” he says. “I’m not going to say that’s the total cause of it but, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression.” Now slimmed down thanks to his work on VH1′s Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp, Federline says his life is turning around, and that he now can be friends with Spears, 28, with whom he has two boys. “I think as time goes on, it keeps getting better and better and better,” he tells Access Hollywood. “I mean, I’m really happy the way that my life is going right now, I really am. I think, you know, I have come a long way. All of us have…my whole family. It’s gotten so much better from where we were.”

You’ll have to pardon my pessimism but I don’t really take these comments at face value. Spederline split up back in 2006 but it wasn’t until 2009 that he started to put on this massive weight. He was already with current girlfriend Victoria Prince and he had already been enjoying large sums of alimony from his divorce from Spears (traveling the world on her dime for free). I’m not sure where the depression comes in. Federline put the weight on very fast (in a matter of months, rather than over a span of years) and as soon as he reached maximum density, he signed on to appear on a competitive reality TV program so that he could lose the weight. His comments do not jibe with me. Now, of course there could be some level of depression and I’m even willing to admit that his comments are 100% true BUT, based on the way he has been living his life in the public eye and the suspicious way he gained all of this “depression weight”, I’m not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Naturally, there may be some who do not agree with me … and that’s fine. Also, my comments have no bearing on people who suffer from genuine bouts of depression. I just find this interview dubious at best. For the sake of his children, who undoubtedly love their father, I hope Kevin Federline takes better care of his health in the future so that they can grow up with both parents in their lives.

Kevin Federline decided to take his young sons — Sean Preston and Jayden James — out for a little playdate at a SoCal park earlier this week so that they could enjoy the beautiful weather that we have been having for the past week or so. Oh yeah, he also invited a few paparazzi photographers to accompany this playdate to the park so that K-Fed himself could enjoy a little media attention:

The boys are really cute and it looks like they have having a great time, so let’s try and forget that K-Fed was even there. It’s clear the kids are turning into adorable little hams. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad, in this instance we must endure the bad sight of The Federline with the good sight of these cute little boys playing at the park.

Kevin Federline, moochy ex-husband of Britney Spears, managed to get himself a new job … one that pays money and everything! The folks who made the latest American Pie movie decided that they wanted The Federline to appear in their film and hired him to play himself … unfortch, he wasn’t right for the part. Instead, they turned him into a border patrol guard … cuz, apparently, that is more believable?

Kevin Federline lost out on a role in the latest American Pie movie – playing himself. “They called me up and asked if I was interested,” Federline, 31, tells PEOPLE. “I was up for a different part originally, but then they didn’t want me playing myself. I think they thought it would be funnier for me as a Canadian border guard.” One day of shooting on location in Vancouver later, Federline was transformed, donning a hat, uniform and badge for his cameo in American Pie Presents: The Book of Love, out on DVD on Dec. 22. Newly svelte from his appearance on Celebrity Fit Club, Federline is ready and available for more work. “If anybody has any more cameos – or actual roles they want to me in – that would be great,” he says.

Geeze … one bit part in a straight-to-DVD film (which will likely be sold at check-out bins in your neighborhood grocery store … or gas station) and he’s already looking ahead to his next acting role. On the one hand, I’d like to commend K-Fed on actually getting a paying job. Not that I think it will curtail his need to mooch off his wealthy ex-wife but at least it’s a start. On the other hand, I just cannot get on board with any endeavor that might lead to his getting more acting work … even if he is happy to appear in a project where he is the butt of a joke, I’m of the mind that the less Federline, the better. Aren’t these little boys the cutest?! Jayden‘s big smile is to die for! It seems clear to me that Sean P. wanted to stay as far away from K-Fed and Vicky P. as possible … and I can’t say that I blame him ;) You will note that K-Fed took the boys to the Xmas tree park on Wednesday night, the same night that Britney did some Xmas shopping on Robertson Blvd. this week. I gotta say, I don’t really mind dealing with The Federline and his chippy if it means we get to see Britney‘s boys lookin’ so cute … it’s worth it, right?

Remember how I earlier said that the presence of Britney Spears‘s cute little boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, make any photoshoot worthwhile? Yeah, well, I was preparing you for this … Kevin Federline and the boys are featured in the new issue of Australian OK! magazine wherein he talks about how happy he is that Britney is in love again. What is most interesting about this interview is that it is the closest thing we’ve gotten thus far to an official confirmation that Britney and her agent/beau Jason Trawick are dating. Here is a cute pic of the boys with K-Fed in his new issue of Aussie OK! and some excerpts from his interview:

Are you happy to see Britney in love again?
Yeah, I’m totally happy for her. That’s all I want… you want your children’s mother to be happy. It’s great.

Are Preston and Jayden showing signs of being little rappers of performers?
They love dancing it’s in their blood. It’s so funny they’ll go around the house and they try to breakdance. They imitate their mother a lot because they’ve been to the shows it’s really funny to watch. I mean they’re kids and they’re like a sponge it’s interesting to watch them come into their own little characters.

You’ve done a lot in your 31 years including dancing for Michael Jackson. What’s your proudest achievement?
For me my children are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Unless you have children you don’t really know. When my daughter was born that was it, I knew that I was gonna have more children. I just knew it. My parents had raised me so well and my whole life completely changed whenever I had children.

When did you first notice the weight creeping up?
A couple of years ago I could tell my metabolism was slowing down and it’s just like my stomach was growing and growing on a daily basis (laughs). Getting’ out of control. We were in Miami a couple of months ago and they [paparazzi] got a picture of me with my shirt off at the pool and when I saw that I was just like, WOW.

Ugh … as grossed out as I am that K-Fed is getting any attention from the press (granted, due to the fame of his children) I think it is nice to see these little boys lookin’ so cute and happy. You can tell these photos were shot on K-Fed‘s recent trip to Australia cuz the boys are rockin’ their buzz hair cuts. On Wednesday we saw a photo of a very slimmed down Kevin Federline and a very glammed up Victoria Prince making their grand arrival in Australia so that they can follow around Britney Spears on the last leg of her Aussie tour and today we learn some great news … K-Fed actually got a job! That’s right, for once he will actually be making money rather than leeching money from his ex-wife. It turns out that K-Fed and his ladyfriend got a gig doing an in-store appearance at an Ed Hardy store down under … which is prolly the only gig he can handle considering his skill set:

Kevin Federline has found a way to earn some money, and he’s following in Jon Gosselin’s footsteps by making it. Federline is currently in Australia while ex-wife Britney Spears tours Down Under, as the couple share custody of their two young sons. K-Fed spent his Thanksgiving morning in Brisbane making an in-store appearance at an Ed Hardy shop, along with his current girlfriend Victoria Prince. Ed Hardy is the same brand that has dressed Jon Gosselin and flew the otherwise unemployed, divorced, father of eight to the South of France with his girlfriend this summer. There was even talk of Gosselin designing kids clothes for the brand. The store appearance isn’t Federline’s only gig. The former backup dancer will appear on the upcoming season of Celebrity Fit Club, for which he has visibly slimmed down after briefly earning the moniker K-Fat.

Blech … this is just grosser than gross … but I guess at least it’s work … it’s douchey work but it’s work nonetheless. Mebbe this slimmed down and working K-Fed is a sign of things to come. Could it be that the leech has finally turned over a new leaf? I’m not really ready to believe that that is the case just yet … but at least it’s a start. After all, can you think of anything more apropos than K-Fed dressed from head to toe in Ed Hardy?
