The Aussie newspaper The Daily Telegraph scored the first photos and video of Sunday Rose, the first born child of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban as they tried to sneak her into Sydney under the cover of night. Here is a grainy screencap from video of the family’s arrival in OZ late last night:

A JOYOUS Nicole Kidman introduced her newborn daughter Sunday Rose to the baby’s Sydney family for the first time, after jetting home last night. The month-old bundle brought the Kidman clan together at the Aussie star’s Darling Point home, with her father Dr Antony Kidman rushing to meet his grandchild for the first time. In a carefully constructed and covert plan, Kidman and her singer husband Keith Urban slipped into Sydney under the cover of darkness – only to be greeted by a large media pack at the Kingsford Smith jet base. With daughter Sunday wrapped in white blankets and held tightly to her chest, a black-clad Kidman stepped from a private jet to the couple’s waiting silver Audi at around 7.30pm. Decoy cars helped to block the press in pursuit, while an aviation fuel tanker and luggage trailers were also strategically parked to limit vision to the jet and couple’s cars … It is believed Australia director Baz Luhrmann was among those to greet the Oscar-winner last night, before she begins final production on his epic outback feature film.

Not that you can really see anything but a grainy baby blanket (which could contain little Miss Sunday Rose, or a decoy made of squash) but I believe this is the first photographic evidence that the Kidman-Urban baby exists (if, in fact, she is wrapped in that blanket). The couple have yet to broker a deal to introduce their baby to the world in any magazines so they better get on that before someone manages to snap a pic and ruin their chances at the big bucks. Perhaps a plan is in the works already? In any event, releasing the photos themselves will go a long way in taking the bounty off the baby’s head. Looks like it’s game on in Oz.

After Keith Urban took to the stage in Nashville, TN this weekend for a 4th of July concert appearance and announced to the assembled crowd that his wife Nicole Kidman was “very VERY pregnant”, People magazine is reporting that Nicole is no longer pregnant at all — she gave birth to the couple’s first child, a girl, this morning in a Nashville hospital:

Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter, born Monday morning in Nashville, PEOPLE has confirmed. The pregnancy was first announced in January. Kidman has two other children with her former husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.

Thus far, there hasn’t been much information to come from the couple, the baby’s name has not been released. Nicole attended a 4th of July party on Friday night and then Keith‘s concert on Saturday night (both in Nashville, TN) and this morning she birthed her baby. Much congrats to the happy couple!!! The actress welcomed a girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Monday morning. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. “Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well,” the rep said. They are “delighted,” the rep added.

Country star and daddy-to-be Keith Urban played a concert at LP Field (home of the Tennessee Titans football team) in Nashville, TN yesterday and proudly revealed to the crowd that his wife, Nicole Kidman, is “very, very pregnant”, implying that she would be birthin’ her baby very soon. Homie also showed off a new (?) tattoo on his arm that reads Nicole, check it out:

Keith Urban joined pal Kenny Chesney for a hometown concert in Nashville Saturday, and hinted to the crowd of nearly 50,000 that he expects to be a dad soon – very, very soon. “I’m going to dedicate a song to my very, very, very, very, VERY pregnant wife!” Urban said with a laugh, before singing his hit, “Better Half.” His real-life better half, Nicole Kidman, wasn’t far away. Kidman, dressed in a brown crinkled silk dress with her hair worn loose and curly, slipped backstage at Nashville’s LP Field just after Urban began his hour-long set. “Well, we’re home, Nashville,” a buoyant Urban yelled to the screaming crowd during the concert, before wishing them a happy Fourth of July, telling them, “We were blowing things up last night!” Urban and Kidman spent the previous evening at pal Ronnie Dunn’s house for the Brooks & Dunn singer’s annual July 4 party that featured a homemade fireworks show.

HMMM … do you suppose “homemade fireworks show” means “illegal fireworks show”? Anways, since I’m not a huge Keith Urban fan, I am not entirely sure that this tattoo is a new one or not but I do not recall hearing about it before so I’m gonna assume it’s at least newish. You gotta hand it to the man for risking to tattoo his wife’s name on his arm … isn’t there a long-standing curse that relationships don’t tend to last long after names are tattooed on each other’s bodies? Here’s hoping that Nicole and Keith can buck that trend. It’s been a while since we’ve seen Nicole Kidman and the state of her baby bump … it wasn’t all that big when last we saw her, mebbe she’s ballooned since then. In any event, pretty soon we’re gonna have babies popping out all over the place … Angelina Jolie is almost due, Gwen Stefani is almost due and now Nicole Kidman. Stand back, y’all … you don’t want to get anything on ya.
