In September of last year we learned from Keanu Reeves himself that plans were in the works for a new sequel film from the 90′s classic film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. In October, Keanu was spotted with his Bill & Ted‘s co-star Alex Winter sparking excitement in fans (like me) that the sequel might actually happen. Today we get an update from Keanu on the status of the film … and apparently, we are just 6 weeks away from the completion of the script! Bill & Ted’s 3 is really happening, y’all!

Brace yourselves, folks … according to new comments made by Kenau Reeves, plans are in the works to bring a 4th and 5th Matrix film to the big screen … in 3D! As you may recall, in recent months, we learned that Keanu was teaming back up with his former co-star Alex Winter to make a new sequel to Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and NOW we learn that he is also in talks to star in a new Matrix film. Should we be worried?

Last month we learned that actor Keanu Reeves was working with his old co-star Alex Winter on an updated sequel film based on the pair’s 1989 film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and it’s follow-up sequel Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. Just a few days later, Alex Winter went on the record to confirm that plans are in the works to make a new Bill & Ted film together. Over the weekend, Keanu and Alex were spotted out and about together on a movie date … which I LOVE! Bill & Ted ride again!!

It’s 21 years since Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter starred in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. But the friendship they made has obviously aged well, with the pair out at the cinema together in Los Angeles last night. Despite the two decades that have passed the two were unmistakable as the stars of the hit teen movie – even sporting similar hairstyles … there has been talk of Reeves and Winter reuniting to film a third installment of the Eighties hit. [Earlier this year] Reeves revealed: ‘Alex and I are still friends and we’re talking, and we’re talking to Chris [Matheson] and Ed [Solomon] ‘They’re going to try and see if they can write something. To me, I’d love to play the role. I’d love to work with Alex and Chris and Ed again.’

OMG … how much do I LOVE this photo! I am DYING to see a new Bill & Ted film WITH the these actors playing the roles of Bill and Ted … no remakes, no prequels … just Keanu and Alex stepping back into their early 90′s garb and bringing back that Valley talk that made them stars. What most of you young’ns don’t understand is that Bill & Ted was a HUGE hit in the early 90′s. The films weren’t mega blockbusters but they really made a huge impact on pop culture. The characters were so popular that they were turned into a Saturday Morning Cartoon series. These days, Saturday Morning Cartoons are NOT what they used to be … sadly … but in the 80′s and 90′s they were THE benchmark for pop culture success among kids. The sight of Keanu and Alex together again warms the cockles of my heart … I hope we get to see more of these two BFFs together again.

Ready for some pretty amazing news 90′s movie fans? According to Keanu Reeves himself, there is talk of making a sequel to the early 90′s films Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey! It looks like very soon we’ll be treated with another outing from Bill & Ted on the big screen:

Keanu Reeves has said that he is working with the original Bill & Ted team in the hope of making another film in the time-travelling comedy series. Reeves’s Bill & Ted co-star Alex Winter recently revealed that discussions were under way for a third movie, after Reeves himself had admitted that he was “trying” to bring the duo back to the big screen. Now, the 46-year-old has told MTV News that Winter and himself are in dialogue with writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon over the possible project. Reeves said: “We’re trying. Alex and I are still friends and we’re talking, and we’re talking to Chris and Ed. They’re going to try and see if they can write something. To me, I’d love to play the role. I’d love to work with Alex and Chris and Ed again. We’ll see what they do. I’m meeting people now – they’ve shown the film to their kids. We just seek to entertain.” The Matrix actor added that they would only work on the picture “if it’s a film that can stand up on its own”, before joking that he wanted German art house director Werner Herzog to take charge of the movie. Impersonating Herzog, Reeves said: “I was just pushed by the idea of this innocence being confronted by the nihilism of the world. And I thought that these two clowns could push our perspective of reality and truth to the forefront of meaning and knowledge.” The Bill & Ted movies tell the story of two Californian teenagers who travel through time in a phone booth after finding out that their rock band Wyld Stallyns is the key to the future happiness of the world.

OMG … I would seriously DIE if a new Bill & Ted movie gets made. I remember seeing the first two Bill & Ted movies when they came out originally (they were among the first films that I got to see with friends when we first started to drive) and I would absolutely love to see a new film. Will this new film show that Bill & Ted finally grew up? Or will Bill & Ted still be trying to find fame and fortune with their band Wyld Stallions? I, for one, am really anxious to see where Bill & Ted‘s time-traveling phone booth adventures will take them next … hopefully, away from having to travel by obsolete phone booth. This has to be the best news ever … I really hope that a new film will be made. Any Bill & Ted fans out there … this is great news, ain’t it?

OMG … this has to be the funniest story EVER! David Beckham, Keanu Reeves and Sean Connery (!!!) all appear in a Chinese advertisement for a male enhancement capsule called USA Selikon which suggests that men who take these capsules are better able to please their women in the sack. Unfortch for these celebs, their images are used without their consent and the quotes that are attributed to them are totally fabricated by the advertisers. Here is a screencap from the USA Selikon commercial that shows Becks “talking” about how the capsules help him “satisfy” his wife Victoria and some more info about the unauthorized advert:

The footballer David Beckham is said to be furious after television adverts in China were aired which had him appearing and endorsing a Chinese impotence medication. In the advertisement a voice over claims that the medication called USA Selikon capsules are David’s ‘secret weapon’ which he uses to ‘satisfy Victoria’. The voice over also claims that these tablets also keep him strong and help him on the football field. It is not known what the USA Selikon capsules actually contain and whether they have approval from the relevant drug authorities in China but like many impotence medications coming from China it could be that they contain the key ingredient of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra. Pfizer, who make Viagra have had legal battles stretching the over a decade regarding the patent of Viagra in China. While they have won the fight in the courts they are still losing market share to illegal factories producing fake versions of Viagra which have sprouted up all over the Chinese mainland. David Beckham isn’t the only famous celebrity to have been targeted in these advertisements as apparently Keanu Reeves and Sean Connery have also been seen on Chinese TV advertising erectile dysfunction medication. The legal system in China is a minefield of bureaucracy and therefore most of the companies get away with using the images of movie stars and celebrities to endorse their products. As with any medication if you use something which is endorsed by a celebrity to treat erectile dysfunction you are likely to get yourself into trouble. Celebrities do not understand medication, only doctors do, and therefore you should only get help for erectile dysfunction only from a doctor.
