Here are a couple photos of Suri Holmes-Cruise with her mom Katie Holmes on the set of Tom Cruise’s new film Wichita which is currently in production in Massachusetts. As you can see, Suri was all gussied up in her fetching red ensemble:

While some may find the red on red on red a bit matchy-matchy, I think it works well for the little Miss. This color red really suits her … and at the very least, makes her really noticeable. Should the little dear suffer a malfunction or blow a spark plug, it would be easy to see if she makes a break for freedom. Ain’t she just a doll?

Tom Cruise has relocated his family to Boston, MA for the filming of his new movie Wichita and he and wifey Katie Holmes were spotted jogging on the streets of Bean Town earlier today. Oh and wouldn’t you know it, TomKat were even dressed alike … behold:

For as crazy as things started out for these two, they really seem to have leveled off quite a bit. I can’t say that I’m totally convinced that TomKat are a product true love and not of successful brainwashing but they do seem happy and have seemed happy for sometime now. I still find it odd that Tom tends to shadow Katie more times than not … even during their jog he had to reach out and hold her hand (tenderly? or to keep her from bolting?). I expect there will be more TomKat sightings in Boston in the coming weeks … you have been warned.

Okay … on the real, I’m not the biggest TomKat fan but even I have to admit that these new photos of the happy family laying in the grass in Melbourne, Australia (where Katie is working on a new film and very narrowly escaped with her life from a flaming car accident a couple of weeks ago) are just WAY TOO cute … behold:

They say you can’t improve on perfection but somehow the Cruise family always seem to find a way. The model family enjoyed another idyllic day out as they relaxed by the lake at Government House in Melbourne with daughter Suri today. As they cuddled up together, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their adorable daughter looked every inch the poster image for the perfect life. Katie, 30, was taking a well-earned day off from working on her latest movie Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark, which she is filming in Australia. The family were reunited last weekend when Tom flew out to join Katie and Suri, bearing two dozen red roses for his wife. During his stay, the Hollywood star found time to take Suri to an aquarium, as well as going to an Australian Rules football match with Katie’s co-star Guy Pearce Tom, 47, is due to leave country tomorrow and the family were obviously keen to make the most of their precious time together. Dressed casually in jeans, a make-up less Katie cuddled three-year-old Suri under a blanket, while Tom looked lovingly on. As she snuggled up to her mother, all that was visible of the little girl were her grey trainers and mop of dark hair. Wearing dark shades, Tom looked the devoted Hollywood dad as the family larked around in the park.

OY … these are cute pics. I’m gonna take them at face value and not assume that the family was aware that they were being photographed (and therefore putting on a show) and just enjoy these pics as the insane cuteness that they are. They do make an adorable family, manufactured or not :)

Yesterday we learned the disturbing news that Katie Holmes was almost seriously injured in a movie set accident when the car she was riding in burst into flames after the car battery exploded. Altho she was shaken up pretty bad, Katie managed to evade death and escaped the car unharmed. Here are new pictures of Katie back on the set of her film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark running around and playing with her only begotten child Suri Holmes-Cruise as if the accident never happened:

As you may recall, the plotline of Katie’s new movie involves her character being terrorized by evil gnomes … perhaps Suri is auditioning for a part in the flick? I keed, I keed!! Clearly, Katie doesn’t feel that the movie set of death is at all a danger to her young child … or does she?????? Whatever the case may be, it’s a relief to see Katie lookin’ so well after enduring such an upsetting incident. Now she can go back about her biz of making movies that no one has any interest in watching.

RadarOnline is reporting that Katie Holmes, wife of the gnomish Tom Cruise, was involved in a near-deadly accident on the Australian set of her new film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark wherein Holmes plays a young woman who is stalked by deadly gnomes. Irony aside, I’m happy to report that Katie managed to escape from the car she was riding in after its battery exploded and caught on fire. Here is a photo of a shaken and stirred Katie Holmes on the set of her movie after she evaded death in this accident:

Actress Katie Holmes narrowly escaped injury on the set of her upcoming movie, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, in Victoria, Australia over the weekend. Holmes was shooting a scene inside a car when the vehicle’s battery exploded — sparking smoke and fumes — before the car then caught fire. The exploding battery was not a part of the film. In the Miramax film (a remake of a 1973 ABC Made-for-TV movie), the wife of Tom Cruise plays a woman stalked by evil gnomes.

All kidding aside, I’m happy that Katie suffered no injury at all from this accident. I cannot imagine what a traumatic incident like this can do to a person but I’m glad to know that she’ll be alright. As for those evil gnomes that will continue to terrify her in the weeks and months to come … well … I guess that’s what she gets for marrying Tom Cruise.

Er … here are a few photos of Katie Holmes shooting scenes for her new movie The Extra Man which, apparently, call for the actress to roam the streets while carrying an extra-large stuffed lion:

Yeah, I dunno what the hell is going on either. But, these photos are too … odd … to not post. I assume that this scene will most likely make sense within the context of the film but I fail to envision what that sense may be. Mebbe Katie’s character is upset that she lost the AM radio she wanted to win at the fair and had to settle on this stuffed lion? Perhaps her character managed to escape a heist at FAO Schwartz but is sad cuz her partner wasn’t so lucky? Mebbe this scene is meant to portray some existential metaphor for one’s lack of courage in the face of overwhelming sadness? HMMM … what do y’all think this scene with the stuffed lion is meant to portray?

Here are a few photos of Katie Holmes squeezing out a few tears on the NYC set of her new film The Extra Man that is filming this week in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York. As you can see, Katie seems to have gotten her hands on one of Angelina Jolie’s old costume from The Changeling and was hard at work filming a very emotional scene:

Oh yeah, she is really workin’ thru some stuff to get those tears a-flowin’ for this set. It’s like the director gave her a bit of direction right before he started filming … something along the lines of, “Now remember how nice and normal your life was BEFORE you met Tom Cruise and he wholly sucked the life force out of your every being and think about how you’ll never, ever get it back …. and … action!“ Hey, at least Katie has a lot of emotional stuff to draw from to be able to nail scenes like this. I’m so not a fan of period pieces nor am I really a fan of Katie Holmes movies (Mad Money? No thanks!) so I might have to pass on seeing this film when it finally hits theaters. I am curious to see more photos of her filming new scenes on the streets of NYC tho. I wonder what other emotions she’ll be bringing to the table as filming on The Extra Man continues in the weeks to come.
