This morning we got the news about Kristin Cavallari‘s pregnancy with Jay Cutler‘s baby months after they got (re)engaged in November. Pregnancies and bump watching is one of my all time favorite topics to write about and follow, and the news this morning got me thinking about the (somewhat controversial?) topic of pregnancy before marriage. We have seen lots of celebs over the past few years get engaged, have a baby, then get hitched. We’ve also seen baby, then engagement, and of course we have seen baby and no wedding at all. My personal opinion is in makes 100% no difference, but I thought there might be some interesting opinions out there. Check out the great pics of some of my fave baby before wedding couples…

Katie Holmes, who will appear in the horror film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark later this year, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Spanish Vogue magazine. In her accompanying photospread, Katie is all decked out in a really hot-looking leather and lace dominatrix-like outfit … which she actually wears well. Wanna meet La Neuva Katie? The TomKat family — Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri — spent part of their weekend in South Beach, FL chillin’ out by the pool together. As you can see from the photos below, daddy Tom spent some time teaching his TomKitten how to swim while mama Katie lounged near the pool. It looks like the fam had a blast soaking up the sun together as they relaxed on holiday.

Two weeks ago we saw some shocking photos of little Suri Holmes-Cruise, the only begotten daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, holding in her hands a box of gummi candies that were penis-shaped. Suri was in possession of the racy candies while in the arms of her mother who, admittedly, didn’t seem to be paying much attention. Tomorrow, Katie Holmes will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her new TV miniseries The Kennedys and she addresses the penis candy issue. According to Katie, she thought the penis candies were actually Swedish Fish. Apparently, Katie doesn’t know what a penis looks like.

I honestly don’t even know what to say about this but … 4-year old Suri Holmes-Cruise, in the arms of her mother Katie Holmes, was photographed with a box of candy that is, IMHO, pretty inappropriate for a child to have. If you can believe it, Suri was holding a box of gummi candies that are penis shaped. To be honest, I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. Rumor has it that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, collectively referred to as TomKat, are planning NOT to attend the 2011 Academy Awards this year because the show is being co-hosted by Anne Hathaway. As you may recall, back in November, Anne hosted Saturday Night Live and she hilariously lampooned Katie Holmes in one of the skits. According to rumors going around this week, TomKat are pissed at Anne and, therefore, are boycotting Oscars this year.

Katie Holmes and her fellow castmates from her new film The Romantics — including Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, Malin Ackerman, Jeremy Strong and Rebecca Lawrence — are featured in the new J. Crew Fall ad campaign in new promo photos that have been published in the clothier’s new catalog. Here are a couple photos of Katie and her crew modeling the latest looks from J. Crew:

In the upcoming movie The Romantics, it’s a wedding that brings a group of friends together, but in real life, it’s the clothes! Back in June, the film’s stars–including Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, Malin Akerman, Jeremy Strong, and Rebecca Lawrence–teamed up to model glamorous looks from J. Crew’s collection. Brand fan Katie Holmes proved her fashionista status on set in a crystal briolette dress ($1,500) and an olive poplin workshirt ($72), while costars Malin Akerman and Jeremy Strong made for one dapper duo in a tuxedo for him and a silk-and-sequin T-shirt ($148) and black sparkling miniskirt ($358) for her. While I find it a bit difficult to believe that Katie Holmes would actually wear anything from J. Crew unless she was being paid to endorse the company, I can totally believe that Malin Ackerman is a J. Crew girl … or better yet, a Gap girl. My, my … the wee robot is growing into a fine young lady-like creature, ain’t she? It doesn’t really seem like all that long ago that she was just an inflated beach ball hiding inside Katie‘s suspiciously faux baby bump … now here she is, eatin’ ice cream … lookin’ cute. All kidding aside, Suri really does look adorable in these photos … I love her hair, her outfit, her expression. She’s a doll, an absolute doll.

Easter may have been last Sunday but that doesn’t mean that Suri Holmes-Cruise can’t get a little more mileage out of the pair of bunny ears she, undoubtedly, found in her Easter basket this year. Here are a couple cute pics of Suri with mama Katie Holmes in NYC lookin’ like a cute little bunny:

I cannot believe how big Suri keeps getting. I like the ears, I gotta admit. She looks really cute. Suri really can work out them ears, don’tcha think?

It’s been snowin’ like the end of days back in East but folks have been making the most of the unyielding blizzard. Here are a couple photos of Katie Holmes and her doll of a daughter Suri Holmes-Cruise braving the snowpocalypse the only way they know how:

These photos were snapped just today as mother and doll stepped out into the cold, snowy Manhattan streets to have lunch. Even I have to admit that Suri looks totally adorable in these pics. While I think that she should be wearing warm and dry boots, I’m glad Katie didn’t let the little dear go out into the cold snow wearing high heeled shoes. Nonetheless, they make a cute pair, these two, don’t they?
