John Mayer hit the high seas with a boatload of fans, literally, as his Mayercraft Carrier 2 sailed out on its second annual 4-day cruise from California to Mexico yesterday. As you may recall, last year Mayer word a Borat-inspired green mankini thong on the cruise to the delight/horror of his Mayercraft passengers but this year he had something a bit different in store for his guests … but we’ll get to that in moment. Here are a few photos of John‘s first performance aboard the Mayercraft Carrier yesterday … you will note that John opted for nice, see-thru tank top so that all could get a nice peek at his nips:

I have to admit, this cruise thing sounds really fun and I’m sure it’s a real treat for John Mayer fans to get to enjoy a cruise with him. The fact that he performs every single night is just … brilliant! I’m not a huge John Mayer fan musically (tho, I do like many of his songs) but I can see how big fans would love an event like this. Trust me, if Tori Amos did this sort of thing you better believe I’d be there year after year.

Now that we’ve had a couple of weeks to get used to the idea that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are dunzo, again, folks are starting to dish as to what the cause of the break-up was this time around. As we learned a couple of weeks ago, John apparently broke up with Jennifer after she returned from a trip to Europe … but today, we’re hearing that it was Jen that broke up with John … reportedly (and laughingly) because of his obsession with Twitter:

People claiming to be friends of the actress have told Star magazine that she finished the affair after discovering Mayer, 31, spent hours on the networking website, despite telling her he was too busy to get in touch with her. The pair started dating in April 2008, but have broken up several times. However, they appeared inseparable at the Oscars last month. A source claimed Aniston decided Mayer was not committed enough to her and called time on their romance having found hourly updates on his Twitter page. The source said: “John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her emails and when she would finally catch up with him, he’d say: ‘I’ve been so busy with work. I’m sorry I haven’t had time to call you back.” The source added: “Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn’t have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates. Every few hours, sometimes minutes, he’d update with some stupid line. And in her mind, she was like ‘He has time for all this Twittering, but he can’t send me a text, an email, make a call?’.” It has also been claimed musician John made no attempt to cover up his Twitters. The source said: “He didn’t even deny it. He knew he was avoiding her. So when she called him on it and ended things, he just said OK, and that he was sorry it didn’t work out. “He took the break-up like a man.” Even so, shortly after Aniston’s call, Mayer’s Twitter update read: ‘This heart didn’t come with instructions.’

LOL! Man, as much as I wish this report was true, I’m afraid that it’s prolly a bit too ridiculous to be totally true … right? Anyone that follows John Mayer on Twitter knows that he is an avid tweeter and does post many times a day. If he truly did chose Twitter over Jennifer Aniston then he prolly deserved to get dumped. My guess is that the truth is prolly somewhere in the middle … he tweeted a lot and she hated it a lot … and then dunzo. This might be the first reported case of celebrity break-up due to Twitter-related complications … which is really sad. I just hope that this report doesn’t turn people off to using Twitter … I love it and can’t get enough — a fact that David is well aware of and is fine with … I think :)

Hold the phone … waitaminute … what? E! News‘ Marc Malkin is reporting that he is hearing that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer may have broken up again! As you may recall, Mayerston decided to call it quits back in August after a couple months of canoodling … but then they got back together right around John‘s birthday. Since then, the couple have been going pretty steady … all thru her new movie promotion and up until the very high profile Academy Awards. But, if Malkin‘s sources are to be believed … the couple’s on again off again relationship may be off again:

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer may have called it quits. That’s the rumor I’m hearing. A source says that the pair’s on-again, off-again relationship may have ended when Aniston returned from overseas, where she was promoting Marley & Me. She returned sometime within the last week. “He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour,” the source said. Aniston’s rep did not immediately comment. Mayer’s rep declined to comment on the singer’s personal life. And what are their friends saying? One pal warns that we shouldn’t be quick to assume the two are through for good. As we know, this wouldn’t be the first time they’ve gone their separate ways. Aniston recently opened up about love and romance to the U.K. magazine You. “Who ever said that every relationship has to last forever? That’s hoping too much,” said Aniston, who turned 40 exactly a month ago. “I think every relationship is a world unto itself.” As for finding the perfect partner, she said, “I don’t have one and I don’t think it exists.”

HMMM … I can believe it. Malkin goes on to report that Jen is headed for an extended stint in NYC to film a new movie with Jason Bateman while John is staying here in SoCal to work on his next album. It makes sense that the couple might call things off for a while … and either get back into it again in a few months or go their separate ways. I don’t know why but I kinda like the idea of Mayerston together. It’s nice to see Jennifer Aniston smile again like she means it … you could see that when she was with John. I’m not entirely willing to stick a spork into Mayerston for good just yet … but I can believe that they might be on a break. Heh … which is so kinda funny if you think about it (and are a fan of Friends) … unless John has random sex with some chick and then, yeah, you know the rest. After all the Oscar trophies were handed out at last night’s Academy Awards (actually, some folks didn’t even wait ’til all the awards were handed out … some showed up at the party before the Oscars were even finished), a who’s who of Hollywood A-Listers made their way to the Sunset Tower to party the night away at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party which was hosted by Graydon Carter. Folks this is THE party to go to if you are “anybody” in Hollywood. Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals last night:

I gotta say … I was very bummed to see that Madonna showed up at the VF party sans her much younger beau Jesus Luz. I was really hoping she and her boytoy would walk the red carpet together and set the gossips afire with her brazen brash & sassiness. Boo. On the plus side, tho, Jennifer Aniston was happy to cozy up to her beau John Mayer for the cameras … tho, the couple did not make a scene on the red carpet in full view of all of the cameras … they saved their canoodling for inside the shindig. While many folks make the rounds on Oscar night and hit up as many parties as they can, the folks who get an invite to the Vanity Fair party make sure to make an appearance and some end up staying all night long … it’s that good. I’m sure a great time was had by all … now that we’ve got the 81st Academy Awards in the can, I’m sure many folks were rearin’ to get to the celebratin’ (or the drownin’ ones sorrows in free booze … like Brangelina). See, there really ain’t no bizznazz like showbiz.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer jetted off to the Bahamas last weekend to enjoy a little private R&R together as they celebrated Valentine’s Day and their lurve together in the tropics. The pair were in such a lovey way that they were spied making out very publicly at the airport. I believe that this is the first time that Mayerston has actually been photographed swappin’ spit together since they hooked up last year:

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer celebrated Valentine’s Day with a trip to the Bahamas. The vacation was a present from Mayer, x17online.com reports. The two left aboard a private jet from Los Angeles late last Thursday night — a day after Aniston’s 40th birthday — and arrived on the island of Eleuthera the next morning, according to x17. They stayed in a gated, luxurious home on the north of the island – where Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon wed last year. The two mostly spent their time indoors, the site claims. The trip was short: Both took off Monday in separate private jets from the island’s main airport. They shared a passionate kiss and hug as they prepared to part ways. Says an x17 photographer: “Jen looked really upset to be leaving John.”

Oh my! So in love, these two. Even tho they don’t make the most attractive kissers (and to be honest, I’ve seen worse), they do look very happy to be together. Some are suggesting that the couple are together mainly for publicity’s sake but — even if that is the case — I’ll bet they are (at the very least) having some fun together. The fact that they reportedly spent most of their time indoors suggests that they kept themselves occupied with various “indoor activities”. HMMMM. I wonder what sort of activities kept them occupied. Would any of y’all care to venture a guess?

The insane drama over Chris Brown‘s arrest and the allegations that he assaulted his girlfriend Rihanna ALMOST overshadowed the 51st Annual Grammy Awards that took place at the Staples Center last night … but fear not, the awards went off without a hitch and, at least in person, provided a very fun night of entertainment. David and I were able to attend the Grammy Awards last night, courtesy of our friends at ABSOLUT Vodka, and we had a pretty phenomenal time at the Staples Center … even tho we were trying to keep apprised of the Chris Brown info as it came out thruout the show, we were able to enjoy the Grammys nonetheless. Everyone was lookin’ their swanky best … Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood looked lovely (tho, I preferred the dress that J. Hud changed into for her onstage performance) and Jesse McCartney looked crazed as he latched on to Paris Hilton‘s teet for their odd photo op. Dunno what the kid was trying to accomplish but I hope he bathed afterward.

It turned out that Alison Krauss and Robert Plant were the big winners of the evening … along with Adele who took home the award for Best New Artist (edging out Duffy and the Jonas Brothers — thank God!). John Mayer, who hasn’t been seen in the company of Jennifer Aniston for quite a few weeks now, was spied enjoying a quiet Mexican dinner date with a mysterious blonde woman in Santa Monica, CA last night. Now, it’s entirely feasible that this mystery chick could be a friend or family member but then again … she could be something else:

She could be an employee or a co-worker, mebbe someone connected with that variety show he’s reportedly developing for CBS … she could be anyone. HMMM. I wonder if Jennifer Aniston knows who she is. Any guesses who y’all think she might be?

Jennifer Aniston may have spent her Xmas Even with her BFF Courteney Cox-Arquette and family but it was a different story after Xmas was over. Here are pics of Jen with her beau John Mayer as they tried to slip out unnoticed from a quiet dinner together at Wolfgang last night in LA:

Mayerston spent Xmas apart as John stayed on the East Coast while Jen was chillin’ with the Cox-Arquettes. But, clearly, the pair cannot remain apart for long … they hooked up as soon as they could in SoCal after the Xmas biz was finished. I’m sure the pair were celebrating the release of Jen‘s new Xmas movie Marley and Me … and perhaps the news that her movie beat ex-hubby Brad Pitt‘s Xmas release The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at the box office … not that anyone was keeping track of such things. Incidentally, both movies set new records for the top 2 highest single-day grossing films to be released on Xmas Day. Not too shabby … methinks that Mayerston will be celebrating all weekend long.

For a second night in a row, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer brazenly took to the chilly streets of NYC last night and happily embraced the throngs of paparazzi as they made their out of dinner at Il Mulino restaurant and then to the Olive Tree cafe. As you may recall, on Thursday night, the couple were all smiles as they cuddled and walked together after leaving a double-date dinner, smiling for the cameras all the while. Folks who are familiar with Jennifer Aniston know that she isn’t usually one to behave this way in front of the cameras. Yesterday we saw pics of Jen doing the walk of shame as she left Mayer‘s place the day after she spent the night with him there. In those photos, she was not interested in showing her face at all. BUT, things changed later on in the day as the pair openly took their lurve to the public streets of NYC for another night of pap-friendly behavior:

Mebbe the trick to get Jen to smile for the cameras is that she will only do so if John is with her. We all know that JM has no problem engaging and oftentimes playing with the paps (and the media as a whole) so mebbe he’s just trying to ease her into his way of life. Whatever the hell is going on, I must say that I do like this new side of Jennifer Aniston. She looks so happy and it’s nice to see her happily matched up with a guy for the holidays. It remains to be seen if Mayerston will remain in NYC for Xmas and New Year’s Eve but here’s hoping that, wherever the end up, they have a great holiday together … smiling for the cameras :) Cheese!

Lovebirds Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer made a very public and showy exit from the NYC eatery La Esquina after double-date dining with the very married Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos last night. While Jennifer Aniston usually tends to do everything in her power to hide behind things like purses, newspapers/magazines, coffee cups, etc. it was a very different matter last night. Cuddled up with her paramour John Mayer, who is never one to shy away from cameras, the couple brazenly walked the streets of NYC cooing and googly-eyeing one another along the way:

I believe that Kelly and Mark left the restaurant engulfed in flames, screaming out for any passer-by to offer assistance but the world was so centered on Mayerston’s walk that no one paid attention to them in the slightest. For those who might not be aware, that was a joke. In any event, Jen and John were all smiley with one another and, surprisingly, did not attempt to hide their faces from the swarm of cameras that were following them.
