Jessica Simpson shared a very smoochy photo on her official Twitter profile yesterday that shows just how much in lurve she is with her new man Eric Johnson. The couple, who went public earlier this month, seem to be gettin’ on very well these days … and Jess seems happy to share their love with all the world:

You know, it’s nice to see that Jessica Simpson is finally happy with a nice guy. Sure, he may still be married but meh … love is love. I’m not sure that I’m totally convinced that Jess and Eric are in it for the long haul but they seem to be really happy right now that that is all that matters, I suppose. You know the girl’s gotta be in love if she’s ready to share this kind of stuff with the world. Good for her!

Last Friday we learned that Jessica Simpson and her new (yet still-married) boyfriend Eric Johnson made their way to Capri, Italy in order to celebrate her 30th birthday on July 10th. Last weekend we got to see just how the happy couple celebrated Jessica‘s big day. Today we learn that the couple made their way to Rome (to do a bit more sight-seeing, a bit more smoochin’) before finally returning home to LA yesterday:

And so, the couple’s first whirlwind International vacay has come to a close. I have to say, Jessica and Eric do make a nice-looking couple. It’s clear from all the affection they share that they really dig one another. Now that they’re home in LA, we’ll have to see just how much of that affection they will continue to share in public. To be honest, I’d love to see Jess happily settled down with a man that she loves. Because Johnson‘s divorce has yet to be finalized, the couple can’t really take their relationship to any official next level … but here’s hoping they will be able to stay together long enough for Eric to be single again so that they might get married! Doesn’t that sound like a great idea?

It appears those photos were just a precursor to a fun birthday weekend for Jessica … which included a small party and a lot of smoochin’! Now that’s a birthday kiss. Jessica Simpson turned 30 [Saturday] and celebrated with a romantic boat trip with her new man, Eric Johnson. The reality TV star and her boyfriend of three months, a former NFL player, shared a steamy kiss aboard a luxury yacht in Capri, Italy. Jessica has not had the best luck with men in the past, but it seems this new relationship has already become serious. The pair have been seen walking round the ancient town and shopping for jewelery. [On] Jessica’s actual birthday, they walked hand in hand from their hotel to the marina where they boarded the yacht. She looked relaxed and happy in a short green kaftan and nude platform sandals.

Yesterday we got our first look at Jessica Simpson and her retired and still-married new boyfriend Eric Johnson as they made their public debut in an airport terminal together and today we learn that the new lovebirds made their way to Capri, Italy to kick-off their new relationship with a quiet vacay. She’s not had the best of luck with men. But could things be getting serious between Jessica Simpson and her new boyfriend Eric Johnson? The 30-year-old star was pictured this morning going to a jewellery shop on the Italian island of Capri where she is holidaying with the fomer NFL star. Wearing a sheer long orange dress with her long blonde hair pulled back into a loose ponytail, Simpson was at one point pictured looking at her finger in the store. She looked pleased as she showed Johnson the purchase on her hand as they strolled outside together. Simpson, who has previously dated Dallas Cowboy star Tony Romo and musician John Mayer, began dating Johnson in May, three months after he split from his wife.

Well now, they sure do look all couplely, don’t they? I mean, they look good together … I think this might actually be a match that will work. He is an ex-NFL star, she is an ex-music star … together they might add up to true love. Now, just because the couple went jewelry shopping in Italy together, it doesn’t mean they are getting too serious … but it does bode well for the relationship if she’s already got him trained to buy her sparkly baubles. In all honesty, I wish these two nothing but the best (and a speedy divorce for him) so that they can live a happy life together. They look good together, no?

Just a few days ago we got wind that Jessica Simpson has hooked-up with a new dude, a former NFLer named Eric Johnson, but it turns out that the couple have actually been together for about 5 weeks now … and today we get our first look at the new lovebirds out in public together. US Weekly has scored the first photo of Jessica and her new man Eric … who is still legally married, I might add! Oh Jess, you sure know how to pick ‘em:

The new issue of Us Weekly has the first pic of Jessica Simpson and her newest guy, Eric Johnson. He’s a former NFL player — and still legally married! The two began dating five weeks ago, shortly after pals brought Johnson — who retired in 2008 after an injury-plagued career as a tight end for the New Orleans Saints and San Fancisco 49ers — to a party at Simpson’s Beverly Hills’ home. “Jess is definitely rushing into this,” an insider tells Us. Indeed, in the photo, the couple are in Jacksonville, Fla., where they were celebrating Johnson’s grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary! When not hanging out with his entire family, Simpson and Johnson, who filed for divorce from his wife of five years, Keri, in January, made time for some serious PDA at the modest, family-friendly Ponte Vedra Inn & Club at which they were staying. While strolling to their modest apartment there, “Her hand was on his butt, and they walked slowly just to enjoy the moment… They looked cute together,” says an insider, who also adds that they spent time with a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door.

As you may recall, Jessica got dumped by the last professional athlete she dated, Tony Romo, on her birthday last year. It looks like she’ll be having a happier birthday this year with her new dude … and meh. who cares if she’s still married? Clearly, it don’t bother Jessica. If you consider that things didn’t work out with her husband Nick Lachey and subsequent boyfriends John Mayer, Tony Romo and Billy Corgan you might think that this new relationship with the still-married Johnson may be doomed … and, well, you may be right. But at least homegirl keeps putting herself out there. She’s bound to get it right eventually … ain’t she? Here’s hoping this guy’s the one … er, after his divorce goes thru.

Victoria Beckham and BFF Eva Longoria played hosts at a soirée at the SoHo House West Hollywood here in SoCal last night for LG Mobile‘s A Night of Fashion and Technology. While a few big name celebs attended last night’s fête, the event proved to be the red carpet debut for a young, up-and-coming celeb … Brooklyn Beckham:

Like father, like son – even when it comes to peculiar dressing habits, it seems. David Beckham would have enjoyed seeing pictures of his 11-year-old son Brooklyn coping his style for a red carpet event with mother Victoria in Los Angeles last night. Wearing his shirt untucked on one side, a loose granddad-style cardigan, dark rinse jeans and trendy trainers, Brooklyn showed a sense of humour, if he did look a little nervous, at the LG Fashion Touch party. As a red carpet novice, Brooklyn was grateful for the encouragement of his mother – who is something of a veteran at this stage. But while Victoria, 36, was clearly in her element with her eldest child at the event, she didn’t forget her style icon status, and reinvented herself once again by debuting a new hairstyle. Posh is famous for her ever-changing locks, but seems to have finally found the best look for her after replacing her usual poker-straight brunette waves with a multi-layered, wavy look.

The former Spice Girls star dazzled in a ‘Cloud’ dress from her own collection – a short version of the full-length gown she wore to the Oscars in March. While Beckham was queen of the red carpet, Longoria made a rare fashion faux pas with her bizarre mini-dress. The Desperate Housewives star, 35, was wearing a black and grey frilly mini, with a chiffon style blouse attached the top. Perhaps feeling a tad jet-lagged after returning from her recent jaunt to Cannes, Longoria appeared a bit heavy-handed with the concealer under her eyes, which stood out next to her olive skin. Beckham and Longoria were hosting the bash at Soho House, which was billed as ‘a night of fashion and technology’. Longoria and Beckham managed to draw a host of Hollywood stars to the bash, including Jessica Simpson, Vanessa Hudgens, Selma Blair and Twilight star Anna Kendrick. Simpson, who attended with her younger sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, squeezed her curvy figure into a very tight black and grey jersey mini from the Spring/Summer 2010 Beckham collection … Beckham and Longoria recently starred in advertising campaign for the new Fashion Touch phones, with the two models reflecting the personalities. The Lotus Elite is ‘bold and edgy’ like Beckham, while the Rumor Touch is ‘sleek and classical’ like Longoria.

Aww … I really love that Brooklyn attended last night’s event. He was lookin’ very dapper, much like is father on the red carpet. You will note that homeboy was even wearing a very expensive pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers designed by Kanye West. He is already becoming quite the little fashionista … fashionister? Back in July of 2008, Jessica Simpson threw her hat into the celebrity fragrance arena with the release of her first perfume called Fancy … then came Fancy Love. Today we learn that Miss Jessica is readying the release of her third fragrance, a more provocative smell she is calling Fancy Nights:

Any fashionista worth her salt knows that there’s a world of difference between a sundress and an evening gown, and the same principle applies to perfume. Last week we learned that Paris Hilton is prepping to release her 10th celebrity fragrance so Jessica is gonna hafta get a move on it if she wants to stay competitive in the celebrity smell game. I gotta say, tho, that it seems unwise for Jess to advertise that this new Fancy Nights smell is an expression of her “romantic side”, especially considering how unlucky in love she tends to be. BUT, perhaps Fancy Nights will be just the trick to help YOU snag that special someone.

Earlier today we learned that Jessica Simpson, in support of her new TV series The Price of Beauty, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Marie Claire magazine. But, what is so special about this particular magazine cover is that Jess was photographed without make-up. And, to take things a bit further, the final photos were not airbrushed or re-touched in any way. Here is our first look at Jess‘s untouched and totally natural Marie Claire coverphoto:

Jessica Simpson graces the May cover of Marie Claire (on newsstands April 13) with absolutely no makeup or retouching. This was all done to help promote Jessica’s new initiative, “A Beautiful Me” – a program she is launching to encourage young women to love themselves and feel comfortable in their own skin. The program launches at the close of her VH 1 series in May. Jessica is the magazine’s May guest beauty editor and embraces the new natural look with air-dried hair and no makeup. Jessica opens up to Marie Claire about herself:

“I don’t have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business. If I’m in a mood to go out and feel hot and sexy, I want long hair that I can feel on my back. But I also like bed head.”

Jessica Simpson called in for an interview this morning on Ryan Seacrest‘s morning radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM here in LA to talk about the world premiere broadcast of her new song Who We Are which will be the theme song to her new VH1 reality TV series The Price of Beauty. As you may be aware, Jessica strangely teamed up with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan to work on this song (and, reportedly, to work on other things as well) and she talked a bit about her collaboration with Billy to Ryan Seacrest as well:

Jessica claims that she “wrote” the song herself but only got help from Billy and his producer who “lives up the street” from her and offered their assistance. It was her aim to work “organically” with these talented musicians and finds Billy “so kind” for helping her with the song. She went on to say that she can’t find “good enough words to speak about” him and refers to him as her “good friend”. It is her desire to make more music with him in the future. I’ve heard the song, it’s kinda terrible … but I’ll let you judge for yourselves.

Jessica Simpson will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show tomorrow (check local listings) in order to talk about a range of topics … including the comments made about her by ex-lover John Mayer (you remember, the d-bag spewed all kinds of verbal diarrhea to Playboy magazine?), the criticism she received over her weight and her upcoming new TV show The Price of Beauty. Some people would find it a compliment to be described as ‘sexual napalm’ in bed. But not Jessica Simpson, who didn’t take too kindly to ex-boyfriend John Mayer’s recent unchivarlrous comments about her. But what better way to gain revenge for her perceived humiliation than to slam the singer on Oprah Winfrey – in front of an international audience of millions. And as the singer struggled to hold back the tears, it became clear that she had won this particular battle for public support. Jessica, 29, spoke to the Queen of Chat about how hurt she was when former lover Mayer, 32, told Playboy magazine last month that she was like a drug to him sexually. He said: ‘And drugs aren’t good for you if you do lots of them… Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me. Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, “I want to quit my life and just fucking snort you?”‘ He later apologised for opening his mouth and said he’d behaved like ‘an a-hole’. But despite his apology, Jessica is still livid about his remarks and looked visibly upset in her interview with Oprah. The full interview will be broadcast in the U.S. tomorrow but a sneak-peek trailer shows Jessica telling Oprah: ‘I don’t want people to know how I am in bed.’ Oprah then asks her if she felt betrayed by Mayer’s comments – but Jessica’s answer won’t be revealed until tomorrow. Simpson also opens up about her weight issues and the criticism towards her, which she revealed she often struggles with. The trailer shows her telling Oprah: ‘It’s a really hard thing for me to talk about.’

And, yet, as difficult as she claims it is to talk about … Jessica Simpson decides to open up on one of the most popular shows on TV right now. Well, I say good for her … sure the main purpose of her appearance on Oprah is to promote her new TV show but it’ll be good for her to finally speak out about the misery she’s lived thru in the past couple of years (including her dumping from boyfriend Tony Romo and the sad death of her pet pooch Daisy).
