Last month we learned the sad news that Jessica Simpson’s beloved pet, a malti-poo named Daisy, was snatched away right before her eyes by ravenous coyotes. As you may recall, Jessica put up posters asking for the safe return of her pooch … just in case the little thing managed to escape the deadly jaws of the coyotes who took her. It turns out that Jessica continues to get messages from people who claim to have found Daisy alive and Jess has had enough. She posted a tweet on her official Twitter profile Sunday night demanding that people stop telling her that Daisy is alive. It seems she has finally come to grips that her little pooch is gone forever:

Jessica Simpson’s mad, and she’s not going to take it anymore. After dealing with the especially painful loss of maltipoo Daisy, who was taken from her back yard by a coyote on Sept. 14, the singer has apparently been inundated with false sightings of her beloved pup. She took to Twitter late Sunday night to say,

“People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found. Untrue. People are so cruel. Please respect her memory.”

While I agree that it is cruel to lie to Jess in this way, she kinda did open herself up to this sort of treatment by appealing to the public for their help. In any event, it’s clear that she has finally realized that there is no way Daisy could’ve survived her abduction. I hope the sweet little dear is resting peacefully in doggie heaven. Poor Jessica Simpson … the girl cannot seem to catch a break. The subtitle above is from a tweet she posted on her official Twitter profile yesterday from Uganda, Africa where she is currently suffering on holiday with her BFFs Cacee Cobb and Ken Paves. Actually, Jess isn’t really on holiday … she is on location to film segments for her new TV show The Price of Beauty (which has yet to find a distributor) but still — it appears that her misery continues. Considering the fact that she lost both her boyfriend (Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo) and her dog (Daisy Simpson) already this Summer, you’d think she’d want to travel to more luxurious locales to film her show. Well, at least she’s got her work to keep her company at night:

Days after calling off the search for her dog Daisy who was snatched by a coyote last week, the star, 29, is in Uganda, Africa, filming more of her upcoming reality show, The Price of Beauty. “WTF?!?” she Twittered Wednesday after posting a photo of herself surrounded by protective fly nets. “Do I really have to sleep like this?” Simpson, who is in Africa with pals Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb, is “focusing on work” after the loss of her 5-year-old maltipoo, a source close to the star tells Usmagazine.com. “She’s so happy just seeing the world and opening her eyes to what’s out there,” another source tells Us. “This is a good project for her.” The star is also set to visit Mumbai, India, for the show, which does not yet have a premiere date.

Ugh … Jess always looks so … miserable. The pouty lip, the sad eyes … she really does seem to have the worst luck imaginable. True, her suffering in Africa is totally by her choice but still … considering the year she’s had thus far, it’d actually be nice to see her smile again. It is heartening that she, at least, has her work and her friends to rely on these days … how many knocks can one person take before they lose their shizz? I just hope this Price of Beauty TV show gets picked up and aired by some network … but, to be honest, considering her luck these days … well, I’m not really counting on it just yet.

Uh oh! More bad news for poor Jessica Simpson. According to Jess herself, her little pooch Daisy was snatched away by coyotes apparently “in front of [her] eyes” and she is now asking for folks to help her find her missing dog. I kinda hate to break it to Jess but, if coyotes really did run off with her dog, she ain’t gonna find the little pooch in one piece. I’m not exactly sure what kind of help she is hoping to get from people. Coyotes who are brazen enough to snatch away dogs right in front of humans are not the kind of animals that are likely to let those animals live for long once they snatch them away. It sucks that Jessica is holding out so much hope for Daisy’s return since she’s already suffered so much disappointment in life but methinks that Daisy has already made her way to that shining dog kennel in the sky. I suppose there is always room for hope and I sincerely do hope that Jessica will be reunited with her beloved pet but … I got strong feeling in my gut that that scenario is very unlikely to happen :(

If there’s anyone a celebrity can rely on in her time of need – it’s her hairdresser. And who better for newly single Jessica Simpson to step out with than close friend Ken Paves, as she glammed up to celebrate the celebrity hairdresser’s birthday at restaurant Beso. Blonde Jessica wore a tight black dress which showed off her hourglass figure. But although she was out for a big night, she didn’t appear to be in much of a party mood as she left the restaurant owned by Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria. Looking downcast, and fed up Jessica was mobbed by photographers and fans and appeared to be keen to exit the fuss as quickly as possible.

As you may recall, it was reported that Tony Romo broke up with Jessica on the eve of her birthday last month because he didn’t want to play Ken in her plans for a Barbie & Ken-themed birthday party. If Jess had just enlisted her real-life Ken to play with her, she might still be with her real boyfriend. Ah well … that ship has sailed. Now Jess is back on the market … but while she waits for her next Mr. Right, it’s nice that she’s got good ol’ reliable Ken Paves to lean on.

About two weeks ago we learned the sad yet not all that surprising news that Jessica Simpson and beau Tony Romo were dunzo after Tony decided to dump her on the eve of her birthday. Since then, Jess has kept a relatively low profile … only tweeting a few times to prove to fans that she is doing A-OK. But, it looks like her time of mourning is over and she is ready to show her face again … she’s also, apparently, showing off some new bling as well. But, before you get all excited for her, the ring is not a gift from a new man … it’s actually a consolation prize that she walked away with from a listening party for one of her father’s new acts. Jessica Simpson is sporting a new diamond ring today. No, she and Tony Romo haven’t reconciled with an engagement. Ms. Simpson hit a listening party in Hollywood last night for An-Ya, a Russian pop singer signed to Joe Simpson’s music label. Before the night was over, Jessica walked away with a $10,000 5-carat ring from party host jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad’s Black and White Diamond Collection. “If you didn’t already know Jessica just went through a breakup, you really would have no way of telling from the way she was behaving at the event,” an eyewitness reported. “She really seemed happy.” While Jessica refused to do media at the soiree, Papa Joe gave us an update on his unlucky-in-love offspring. “She’s good,” Joe said. “She’s doing very good.” Not too sure if she’ll be feeling the same when she gets wind of US Weekly’s new cover story. The celeb tabloid claims Romo is already smitten with a new gal, recent college graduate Natalie Smith (her dad is the athletic director from Romo’s alma mater, Eastern Illinois University). Smith denies to the mag that there was a romance. A rep for Romo declined to comment when we asked about the report earlier today. At least Jessica has work to help take her mind away from Romo. Joe said they leave for Japan in a couple of weeks to work on her upcoming VH1 reality show about beauty.

Ah, Jess … who needs a boyfriend when you’ve got Papa Joe Simpson always at the ready. Lawd, that girl is gonna be single forever … I just know it. But, it’s good that she’s feeling well enough to start going out to events again … hopefully she will be able to move on and away from this latest break-up and focus on her career. Granted, she hasn’t had the best luck in that arena either but … well, keep on keepin’ on, Jessica. You can do it!

A week ago today we learned the tragic news that Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo were dunzo (remember, he dumped her on the eve of her birthday on July 10) and then last Friday we saw the first photos of Tony Romo whooping it up and enjoying his new single status with some of his boys on the Sunset Strip. Perhaps in retaliation, Jessica posted a photo with some of her girlfriends out on the town this weekend on her official Twitter profile. Here is the photo and her tweet message:

Clearly, Jessica wants the world to know that she has already washed that man right out of her hair and she is a happy camper. With her ladies by her side and her trademark mile-long smile, she’s telling the world I’m OK! Whether or not that is actually the case is beside the point … at this stage in a break-up, she can’t let the guy who dumped her know she is mourning the loss. I’m not a big Jessica Simpson fan but I do feel bad for her … here’s hoping she gets over the break-up as soon as she can. My guess is that she’ll be single for some time to come.
