My friend Chris gave me the head’s up of a startling discovery that was made by his BFF Ragni. It turns out that Jessica Alba was caught channeling her inner Golden Girl … duplicating a look made famous by Rue McClanahan, who played Blanche Deveraux on The Golden Girls. Now, I have no idea when the photo of Jessica was snapped but as you can see in the side-by-side photos below, Jess absolutely STOLE Blanche‘s look. Check out the photos below and marvel.

The lovely Jessica Alba is not only stunning, and a great mother of 2 girls, but she is also a bit of a domestic goddess. She appeared on the Martha Stewart show this week and made meatballs! Martha showed her how to make them all the same size, and Jess joked that “that’s why you’re Martha Stewart and I’m not.” Check out the clip of Jess in the kitchen and some sweet pics of Jess, and hubby, Cash Warren, playing in the park with their daughters. BIG congratulations go out today to happily marrieds Jessica Alba and Cash Warren because the couple have welcomed a new child into their family. According to an announcement made by Jessica on her official Facebook profile, she gave birth to her second daughter on Saturday. The couple have named their newborn baby girl Haven Garner. Last night the Who’s Who of the Fashion Elite made their way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to attend the annual “celebrity prom” event known as the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala … and the most extravagantly beautiful (and not quite beautiful) couture fashions were shown off on the red carpet. The theme of the Gala Ball this year was Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, in honor of the late fashion designer. As you should know, the design house of Alexander McQueen was responsible for Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress last weekend … so this MET Gala Ball was only the latest tribute to McQueen‘s important impact on Fashion. Actress Jessica Alba is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vogue Italia magazine and, I gotta say, she is lookin’ really damn good. I have to admit, I’m not a big fan of some of Alba‘s photospreads but Vogue Italia tends to do things right … and they really did a great job with Jessica‘s new spread in the new issue of their magazine. Jimmy Kimmel hosted his annual post-Academy Awards episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and ended up featuring a pre-taped video skit that starred some of Hollywood’s hottest ladies and, yet, seemed to go on and on and ON for-freaking-ever. In the clip, Jimmy is parodying an infomercial for the Hottie Body Hump Club alongside ladies like Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria and, yes, even Lindsay Lohan. The various stars of the Mexploitation film Machete, directed by Robert Rodriguez, came out to The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, CA last night for the film’s premiere … save for one very famous notorious castmember. Lindsay Lohan, who enjoyed her first full day of freedom from jail and rehab yesterday, was not in attendance at last night’s premiere event for Machete despite the fact that she is featured in the film. Her fellow co-stars, tho, expressed their support for the troubled young starlet and spoke well of her on the red carpet last night. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals last night and some deets of the support shown for L. Lo by her Machete co-stars:

Judging by her talent on display in the new movie Machete, Lindsay Lohan has a great shot at rekindling her movie career, her costars said Wednesday at a screening in Los Angeles. “Lindsay is so good in the movie, and I can’t wait for her to see it,” Jessica Alba, 29, told PEOPLE on the red carpet. “It’s awesome. She’s great. I’m very proud.” Director Robert Rodriguez echoed that sentiment. “I can’t wait for her to see it,” he said. “She’s awesome in the movie. She’s going to enjoy it a lot. … She can do anything she wants [in this business]. This movie is so great for her. I think she’s got a lot of talent, obviously. So, it’s all up to her.” … Danny Trejo, who plays the title character in Machete, forecast only good things for Lohan. “Lindsay’s gonna be cool. She knows it. I know it,” he says. “You know, she got in a little trouble, and now she’s had a little time to put her head together. She’ll be alright. We’ll pick her up again.” While not addressing Lohan’s situation directly, another Machete cast member, Michelle Rodriguez, talked about overcoming problems as a young actress. The former Lost star, 32, has a remarkably similar story to Lohan’s, having spent time in jail herself for violating probation in a DUI case. “This crazy little party girl who loves to enjoy life actually has a purpose,” Rodriguez said. “So, that’s really the core of why I’ve survived so many years and I can go and I can fall down and I can get back up. Why? Because I know why I’m here.” She adds: “That’s the question that a lot of people need to answer when they do fall is, ‘Why am I here?’ If you can answer that question, you’ll be able to dust yourself off and shine like a phoenix out of ashes.”

Judging from these comments alone, it sounds like Lindsay has a lot of support and a lot of people pulling for her. While I am not convinced in the slightest that she is truly ready to turn her life around, I like to think that the positive vibes put out by these very kind people might have a positive affect on her. Time will tell, but no matter how much good other people want for Lindsay she won’t get any of it unless she puts in the work herself.

But, enough about her. Machete will open in theaters on September 3 and judging by the red band trailer that was released back in May, it looks absolutely kick ass! After the jump, check out the trailer again for a little refresher …

Mama Jessica Alba took her little chicklet Honor Marie out to pick up some Easter supplies for their holiday celebration this year. Jess and Honor were spied picking up some plastic Easter eggs, a few toys and a pre-packaged Easter basket from their local drug store … which I love!! I grew up with pre-packaged Easter baskets (none of those fancy schmancy homemade baskets) so I think it’s cute that Honor will grow up with them, too:

You gotta love a celebrity that keeps it real … and you generally don’t get more real than Jessica Alba. For Honor, the memories she will grow up remembering are the times spent with her family as they celebrate the holidays, not the price tag on the toys and gifts she receives. I bet that the entire Alba-Warren family will have themselves a fantastic Easter together! And I certainly hope that YOU, too, have a great Easter today as well :)

Here are a few really cute pics of once-baby-now-toddler Honor Marie chillin’ at a local park here in SoCal with her parents Jessica Alba and Cash Warren yesterday afternoon. I am *amazed* at how big Honor has gotten. Wasn’t she just a cute little baby like 10 minutes ago and now she’s big enough to be runnin’ around the park like this? When did that happen?

I mean, it seems just like yesterday that little Miss Honor was innocently flipping off her middle finger to the paparazzi and now she’s a big kid. Crazy. It’s nice to see the Alba-Warren family enjoying a nice day at the park together like this … they look really happy. Honor looks so much like her mommy … I just love these photos :)

See … celebs do actually get punished for some of the bad things they do. Take, for example, Jessica Alba who got busted in Santa Monica, CA yesterday after she got pulled over for driving the wrong way on a one way street. I imagine that Jessica flashed her pearly whites and did her best to charm her way out of the ticket … unfortch for her, the cop was prolly well aware of who she was and what movies she’s been in — which is prolly why he ticketed her anyway:

Hee Hee … I can hear it now, But officer, I had no idea I was driving the wrong way … and by any chance have you seen Fantastic Four 2? Yeah, if I were her, I’d shy away from trying to get cops to recognize who she is … she’d prolly stand a better chance of not getting punished for her real crimes (ie. her movie career). Oh well … better luck next time, Jessica.
