Actress Jennifer Aniston, who has been amping up her public displays of presumed affection for her rumored new boyfriend Justin Theroux in recent days, was spotted on the streets of NYC yesterday showing off her first tattoo. Jen got a bit of ink tattooed on her right foot in tribute to her late dog Norman. In honor of his memory, she had his name tattooed near her ankle.

Earlier this week we saw photos of rumored lovebirds Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux all snuggled up in a seeming attempt to show the world that they are SO in LURVE. Today we learn that that seeming show of affection was just a precursor to a more public display of affection. Jennifer taped an episode of Inside the Actors Studio and she brought along Justin with her to the taping … sitting him front row center. I suppose it’s possible that he was just there to lend moral support as a friend but … I don’t think so. I think Justifer are doing everything they can to admit that they are together without actually admitting that they are, indeed, together.

For the past few weeks there have been reports that actress Jennifer Aniston and actor Justin Theroux have been hooking up all over town while trying to keep this new relationship under wraps. Aniston went so far as to deny that she and Justin were nothing more than friends but … well, the couple just kept on creepin’ together. This weekend, the pair partied with Saturday Night Live castmember Jason Sudeikis after he hosted the 2011 MTV Movie Awards and, well, they sure looked coupley. So are they or aren’t they?

Jennifer Aniston, who we are used to seeing star in really bad movies, is trying something new these days … she’s directing! Jen has been hard at work in SoCal recently directing a made-for-TV movie that is set to air on Lifetime TV later this year. Jen‘s movie will be a part of the Project Five, which is series of short films that are all based on the same theme. This set of short films will tell stories about breast cancer survival. Jennifer Aniston is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Allure magazine and homegirl is gettin’ a lot of attention today due to her comments in her Allure interview about her famous haircut called The Rachel from her days on Friends. In new comments making the Internet rounds today, Jen confesses that she believes the The Rachel haircut to be the “ugliest haircut” she’s ever seen.

There was a time in the mid-1990s when women besieged salons with photos of the US actress to copy her style. The layered cut was given the name “The Rachel” after Aniston’s character in the hit US TV comedy series, Rachel Green. She wore the style in the show’s first and second seasons. One person who was not a fan of the haircut, however, was Jennifer herself. Aniston, now 41, told the February issue of US magazine Allure it was not her best look. Aniston’s long-time hairstylist Chris McMillan came up with the cut. He still works with her today. “I love Chris but he’s the bane of my existence because he started that damn ‘Rachel’, which was not my best look,” she said. “How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen,” she says. “What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?”

LOL!! It’s quite possible that Jennifer Aniston would never have reached the heights of 90′s celebrity had it not been for that “ugly” haircut. In truth, all of the Friends actors were riding high on the success of the show … but Jennifer Aniston really stood apart in her own realm of celebrity due to The Rachel haircut. I mean, she prolly nabbed hubby Brad Pitt because of it … er, and now I think I understand why she prolly hates the damn thing. Ah well. While many of us were freezing out sweet buns here in the chilly US for Thanksgiving yesterday, Jennifer Aniston and some of her friends were sunnin’ themselves on holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. You wouldn’t catch her wearing a red carpet outfit more than once. But it seems that when it comes to the beach, Jennifer Aniston is sensibly more conservative. Enjoying yet another Mexican holiday this Thanksgiving weekend, Jennifer recycled a purple bikini which she first wore a year ago. The former Friends star is in the country with her good friend, comedian Chelsea Handler, who also chose a revealing purple two-piece. Jennifer, who takes frequent breaks to Los Cabos, showed off her slender figure in her favourite purple two-piece, teamed with a sarong and hat to protect her skin. The 41-year-old is holidaying with a group of friends, in a break from filming her new movie Wanderlust … In New York she has been wrapped up warm against the wintry weather, but in Mexico it was time to strip down and enjoy the warm sunshine. Jennifer has taken dozens of holidays in Mexico in recent years – including breaks with ex-lovers John Mayer and Gerard Butler. But usually she brings along a large group of close friends, and celebrated her 40th birthday there with pals Sheryl Crow, Courteney Cox and Kathy Najimy. Reports recently surfaced that she was planned to buy a holiday home in the country with her close friend Courteney Cox.

There is no doubt, Jen LOVES vacationing in Cabo … and she very obvs really LOVES this purple bikini. Dude, if I looked as good in this bikini as Jen does, I’d wear the damn thing every single day. Jennifer Anison popped up on a Broadway stage in NYC this week to perform as part of an ensemble cast at this year’s 24 Hour Plays on Broadway fundraiser event. Here is a photo of Jen and her co-stars performing their show this week:

We’re more used to seeing her playing the gushing female lead in a cheesy romcom. But last night Jennifer Aniston boldly stepped forward to tread the boards on Broadway. The 41-year-old actress made an appearance as part of an ensemble cast in the annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway fundraiser. The benefit draws together some of entertainment’s biggest names and sees 24 actors, six writers and six directors to come up with six original short plays over the course of one day. This isn’t the first time Jennifer has appeared in the event. She participated in the inaugural 24 Hours on Broadway in 2006, and last year even sang rendition of Yellow Submarine during her performance. Playwrights gathered at 10pm New York time on Sunday and were each tasked to pen a 10 minute play each by 7am the next morning. The actors involved then had 12 hours to rehearse before putting a performance at the American Airlines Theater before a live audience. Other stars involved were Elijah Wood, Julia Stiles, Nia Vardalos, America Ferrera, Claire Danes, Alicia Witt, Sam Rockwell and Kyra Sedgwick. ‘It’s pure chaos,’ said Rosie Perez, who has acted in the project every year. ‘I tell all the actors when we begin, “You will probably have a nervous breakdown. It’s normal — go with it. If you’re not having a nervous breakdown or some type of anxiety attack, you’re doing something wrong”’ … After the New York performance, the star-studded cast and crew let their hair down at an after party at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.

Yay!! Good for Jen! I’m glad to see that she’s keepin’ bizzy and brushing up on her acting chops. I’m not sure if the frantic pace of 24 Hour Plays will really help with her acting abilities but, well, it can’t hurt ;)
