Jennifer Aniston has still got it. The actress – who turned 40 this past February – flaunted her bikini in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, over the weekend while vacationing with pals at the exclusive One and Only resort. On Friday, she went sunbathing in a tiny purple bikini. Aniston could use the vacation. The new Us Weekly (on newsstands now) has the exclusive first look at what’s really inside a shocking new tell-all about the couple. Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reports that Jolie, 34, waged “a mean-spirited but effective campaign” against Aniston around the time that Pitt, 45, divorced her. According to the book, Jolie spread the rumor that Aniston firmly prioritized her career over starting a family — which put her directly at odds with Pitt, who ached for kids. Jolie “was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing bitch,” Halperin writes.

Oh man … yeah, I’ve been hearing quite a lot about this “tell-all” book on Brangelina and I don’t know what to believe. I’m always very skeptical when stuff like this comes out … so I tend not to believe the crazier stories. If Jennifer is smart, and I know she is, she will pay no attention to the book when it comes out … which is prolly why she got her ass down to Cabo for some rest and relaxation. She’s lookin’ good, y’all … I can’t say I blame her for wanting to show it off.

It’s not the first time Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have reunited after a split, but the couple are simply “enjoying their friendship,” says a source close to the singer. “They’ve been talking for a while – they’re very friendly.” Adds another source, “They’ve remained close.” The duo recently spent a night together late last month at New York City’s Bowery Hotel. “Jen was there on the arm of John and they were all very lovey,” says an onlooker. “She was in casual clothing as was he, and she seemed very comfortable around his crowd of friends.” Aniston, 40, and Mayer, 31, first called it quits in August 2008, only to reunite months later for a short time – and then split once again in March after a very public appearance together at the Oscars. At the time of their most recent split, a source told PEOPLE, “Jen got her feelings very hurt and she is done with John for good. They have no contact for now.” Reps could not be reached for comment.

Interesting … it sounds like Mr. Mayer has got a heaping dose of something that Ms. Aniston can’t live without. Whether these two are just enjoying a new round of booty callin’ or they are serious about fostering a real relationship together, I have to say that I am thrilled that Mayerston appear to be back together. They are such a fun celeb couple … one day they’re hiding from the cameras, the next day they’re mugging for the cameras … it’s always a fun time with Mayerston! As you can see, it is actor Gerard Butler doing the honors of taking Jen’s character into custody. In The Bounty, Butler plays a bounty hunter named Milo who finds out that his new mission is to apprehend his ex-wife Cassidy (played by Aniston) … well, you can imagine the hilarity that might ensue from such a comical circumstance. Production on the film will continue for some time, here’s hoping we get to see other photos of this pair engaged in various acts of law and disorder.

On using humor to get through tough situations: “I remember being 7 and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, ‘Oh, honey, you’re so funny.’ So, she doesn’t lie to me… She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength.”

Firstly, kudos to Jen for finally realizing and accepting her lot in life … she will forever be the terribly wealthy pretty girl who is destined to remain single for all time immemorial. Secondly, wow her mom was a beyotch! Even if your mama doesn’t think you’re as pretty as other kids, the least they could do is lie (tho, I’m of the mind that good moms could never see another child more beautiful than their own). I wonder what other nuggets of info Jennifer will be revealing in this issue of Elle magazine. Wow! First off, she looks so good … she should smile more often. Second, WTF? is going on that has got Jennifer Aniston look so happy? Actually, I don’t even want to know … I don’t even care. She looks so pretty all smiley … she’s even smiling with her eyes, y’all!!! This is a happy sight to behold, she looks much better in these photos than she does when she’s trying to hide inside coats and blankets and stuff. As you can see, Jason has no problem walking into the building like a normal person. Jen, no longer shackled to Mayer’s love for the limelight, appears happy to cover herself from head to toe utterly and completely to as to avoid being photographed. I mean, c’mon … she is totally ridiculous. I don’t understand how she thinks that behaving like this in public will get people to NOT notice her and to NOT photograph her. LOL. It remains to be seen if Jennifer Aniston plans to never show her face in public again now that she’s single again but … I can’t wait to find out.

People claiming to be friends of the actress have told Star magazine that she finished the affair after discovering Mayer, 31, spent hours on the networking website, despite telling her he was too busy to get in touch with her. The pair started dating in April 2008, but have broken up several times. However, they appeared inseparable at the Oscars last month. A source claimed Aniston decided Mayer was not committed enough to her and called time on their romance having found hourly updates on his Twitter page. The source said: “John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her emails and when she would finally catch up with him, he’d say: ‘I’ve been so busy with work. I’m sorry I haven’t had time to call you back.” The source added: “Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn’t have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates. Every few hours, sometimes minutes, he’d update with some stupid line. And in her mind, she was like ‘He has time for all this Twittering, but he can’t send me a text, an email, make a call?’.” It has also been claimed musician John made no attempt to cover up his Twitters. The source said: “He didn’t even deny it. He knew he was avoiding her. So when she called him on it and ended things, he just said OK, and that he was sorry it didn’t work out. “He took the break-up like a man.” Even so, shortly after Aniston’s call, Mayer’s Twitter update read: ‘This heart didn’t come with instructions.’

LOL! Man, as much as I wish this report was true, I’m afraid that it’s prolly a bit too ridiculous to be totally true … right? Anyone that follows John Mayer on Twitter knows that he is an avid tweeter and does post many times a day. If he truly did chose Twitter over Jennifer Aniston then he prolly deserved to get dumped. My guess is that the truth is prolly somewhere in the middle … he tweeted a lot and she hated it a lot … and then dunzo. This might be the first reported case of celebrity break-up due to Twitter-related complications … which is really sad. I just hope that this report doesn’t turn people off to using Twitter … I love it and can’t get enough — a fact that David is well aware of and is fine with … I think :)

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer may have called it quits. That’s the rumor I’m hearing. A source says that the pair’s on-again, off-again relationship may have ended when Aniston returned from overseas, where she was promoting Marley & Me. She returned sometime within the last week. “He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour,” the source said. Aniston’s rep did not immediately comment. Mayer’s rep declined to comment on the singer’s personal life. And what are their friends saying? One pal warns that we shouldn’t be quick to assume the two are through for good. As we know, this wouldn’t be the first time they’ve gone their separate ways. Aniston recently opened up about love and romance to the U.K. magazine You. “Who ever said that every relationship has to last forever? That’s hoping too much,” said Aniston, who turned 40 exactly a month ago. “I think every relationship is a world unto itself.” As for finding the perfect partner, she said, “I don’t have one and I don’t think it exists.”

HMMM … I can believe it. Malkin goes on to report that Jen is headed for an extended stint in NYC to film a new movie with Jason Bateman while John is staying here in SoCal to work on his next album. It makes sense that the couple might call things off for a while … and either get back into it again in a few months or go their separate ways. I don’t know why but I kinda like the idea of Mayerston together. It’s nice to see Jennifer Aniston smile again like she means it … you could see that when she was with John. I’m not entirely willing to stick a spork into Mayerston for good just yet … but I can believe that they might be on a break. Heh … which is so kinda funny if you think about it (and are a fan of Friends) … unless John has random sex with some chick and then, yeah, you know the rest. Hahahaha! I love how disinterested she looks on the cover … you can really tell that she wanted to do this interview. I mean, I guess I don’t blame her for clamming up about her ex-husband. It must be terribly frustrating to constantly be tied to your ex-husband and his new family. At least she could pretend that she cares tho. I guess what I don’t understand is how a person can continue to court the public’s favor in order to promote a new project but in the process of the promoting look as if you’d rather be somewhere else … or, even worse, get pissed off when public actually pays attention to your every move. Celebs can be so funny sometimes. In any event, this issue of Elle magazine goes on sale in the UK on Wednesday.
