First we learned that the cast of Jersey Shore were banding together Friends style to try and force MTV to pay them more money per episode to return for season 2 of their show and then we learned that MTV decided that they were not interested in the cast’s salary demands and are willing to pay them each $10,000 per episode and not a penny more. Today we learn that two members of the Jersey Shore cast, Jenni Jwoww Farley and Ronnie Magro, have decided to take MTV‘s offer and will return for season 2 … the rest of the cast are still holding out for more money:

Two of the cast members of “Jersey Shore” have agreed to MTV’s offer of $10,000 an episode, but the others are still holding out … sources connected to the negotiations tell TMZ. Ronnie and J-WOWW have accepted MTV’s offer. A well-placed MTV source tells TMZ the network is drawing a hard line at the close of business tomorrow — the rest of the cast members must either accept the offer or MTV replaces them. Earlier in the week we told you MTV’s original deadline was Monday night — but the network continued negotiations and now they say it’s do or die.

I had a feeling that these jokers wouldn’t band together as a single unit when push came to shove. I suspect that now that Jwoww and Ronnie have caved to MTV‘s final offer other castmembers will take the deal as well. In the end, they have no choice. If they refuse, they will be cast aside and forgotten … just like original castmember Angelina Jolie Pivarnick. Her dumb ass walked off the show after 2 eps and is prolly kicking herself for being so stupid. I bet she’d return for season 2 for free if MTV will have her. Altho I think other castmembers will take the deal I wouldn’t at all be surprised if at least one of these egotistical morons turned down the deal in the hopes of getting more money from someone else. It remains to be seen what Jersey Shore: Season 2 will look like cast-wise but it sounds like MTV is finished playing around. We should know very soon who is in … and who may be out.

On Friday we learned what kind of goodies attendees of the Golden Globes will be walking home with inside their Golden Globes Gift Bags but today we learn that even non-Golden Globes attendees are gettin’ in on the freebie action. Golden Globes gifting suites are legendary for hooking up celebs of varying stature with all sorts of free stuff, even if they don’t have a rat’s ass’s chance in Hell of ever scoring an actual invite to the Golden Globe Awards themselves. Like, say, for example the cast of MTV‘s hit show Jersey Shore. These self-proclaimed guidos and guidettes flew out West this week for the sole purpose of loading up on free shizz at various Golden Globes gifting suites like the GBK Golden Globe Gifting Suite at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood, CA Friday afternoon:

In addition to the GBK gifting suite, the Jersey Shore cast showed up at THE Hospitality gifting suite that was held at Pascal Mouawad‘s estate where I understand that Jenni Jwoww Farley got her hair did by Suburbia Salon (Lord knows she needed a hair job), Nicole Snooki Polizzi loaded up on gear from Wet Cement, Paul Pauly D Delvecchio scored some hair gel from Unite and Mike The Situation Sorrentino picked up a few t-shirts from Wet Cement so that he could lift them up all night long to show off his abs. See people, you don’t need to be a Golden Globes nominee to get in on all the free swag. I’d bet a bit of money that these folks will not be invited to any gifting suites next year so I hope they load up on as much stuff as possible while they still can.

The real Golden Globe winners will pick up the only prizes that matter tonight during the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards, which airs LIVE on NBC tonight at 8PM ET, 5PM PT.

The cast of MTV‘s hit reality TV series Jersey Shore (minus Angelina Jolie Pivarnick who was booted off the show by the 4th ep of the series) are featured in the new issue of Life & Style magazine … and holy moly, they did they get make-overs! For the most part, everyone looks pretty fantastic … save for Paul Pauly D Delvecchio (whose horrible hair cannot be made-over to look good at all). Here the photo and some deets about their transformations:

I mean … wow. Jenni Jwoww Farley looks the best, by far. I gotta give it up to Mike The Situation Sorrentino cuz he cleaned up pretty nicely as well. This goes to show that clothes really can make the man or woman and lotta money goes a long way. I gotta say, I’m impressed. Which one of these kids do YOU think looks the best?

Last night a few castmembers of the new hit MTV reality TV series Jersey Shore invaded Hollywood after they made an appearance at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards. Jenni Jwoww Farley, Nicole Snooki Polizzi (who is most famous for getting punched in the face on the show), Paul Pauly D Delvecchio (who hopes to strip down for the Playgirl some day) and Mike The Situation Sorrentino (who vehemently defends his right to be a guido) made a splash at Voyeur nightclub last night … and were sure to pose for photos on their way into the club:

Bam! Just like that … a new batch of Stars are born. I’m sure these young people yearned for the glitz and glamor of Hollywood as they dreamed their little dreams in the Jersey Shore and, at last, they have arrived. I understand these new stars were treated like royalty at the VGAs last night with actual celebrities falling over themselves to ask for photos with them. I don’t believe that anyone got punched in the face at Voyeur last night, so all in all I think it was a great night on the town for everyone involved. I hope they enjoy the spotlight while everyone loves them … reality TV fame is very fleeting. They are the toast of the town now … but they won’t be for long. I say, live it up and get everything you can while you still can. They’ll very likely be back on the boardwalk of the Jersey Shore thinkin’ about their 15 minutes of fame sooner than they prolly realize.
