Jason Wahler, who — at the young age of 23 — was just recently arrested TWICE in the span of about a week bringing his arrest grand total to 7 (6 domestic, 1 international), gave an interview with US Weekly to talk about how “ashamed” and “sorry” he is for all of his arrests. Here is what he had to say:

Former Hills star Jason Wahler says he felt incredible “shame” when he made headlines again last weekend for his sixth alcohol-related arrest in recent years. A week prior, online video footage also surfaced of Wahler, 23, being cuffed by Mexican police in Cabo San Lucas March 11 after he allegedly got into a club brawl. “I am very, very ashamed of everything,” he tells UsMagazine.com. “I am very sorry for everything that’s happened.” So what went wrong for Wahler, who claimed in 2007 that he had cleaned up his act and even did a stint with inpatient rehab? About six months ago, he tells Us he moved back to Orange County from L.A. and enrolled in the University of Phoenix in Fountain Valley, Calif., hoping to earn a business degree. He even began going to AA up to five times a week. “I had a sponsor and stuff,” says Wahler. “You know, the whole thing.” While traveling to L.A. “doing the whole movie stuff,” he says he “got distracted” and “started falling out of the program … I lost contact with my sponsor.” He slowly began drinking again. “It was one drink or a few,” he says. “It wasn’t a binge or anything.” On March 19, he was taken into custody at 10:54 p.m. for DUI while driving a 2008 Chevy Tahoe. He likely will face jail time. He declined to talk about the incident, but he tells Us, “I think everything happens for a reason. God did that to me, so maybe I would be at [rock] bottom and want to climb my way to the top.” With the help of his new girlfriend and friends and family, he returned to AA this past Wednesday. “It’s all about getting back on track,” Wahler tells Us. “My girlfriend, my parents, my brothers, my sisters and a handful of my best friends are willing to do everything to keep me out of trouble. “I never want to drink again,” he adds. He says he’ll also avoid L.A. “unless it’s crucial for work. If I do go, I will go with my father or somebody who is a sober support. But I definitely won’t be going out! “If I don’t stay sober,” he tells Us, “I am not going to have a life.”

To his credit, I will say that it sounds like he’s got the right attitude … now. But I’m concerned that his blaming God for “doing that to him” is proof that he is not taking responsibility for his actions. I’m not sure what “movie stuff” keeps bringing him to LA but mebbe he needs to find a different line of work. It’s hard not to be suspicious of this latest apology but … for his sake, I hope he really means it this time. To be arrested 7 times in only 23 years is pretty insane. Best of luck drying out, Jason. I truly hope you are successful.

Just this past Thursday we learned that Jason Wahler, former star of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills, was arrested for the 6th time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and today we learn that — having just been released from a Mexican jail and returned to the US — Wahler was arrested AGAIN last night for drunk driving! People, this is his 7th arrest overall, his 6th in the US and his second arrest in a week! Jason got busted AGAIN!!!

Jason Wahler was arrested last night — in the United States for a change — for allegedly driving under the influence. Newport Beach PD tells us Wahler was popped last night around 10:54 PM. He was driving a 2008 Chevy Tahoe and described himself to police as “an actor.” He was released this morning under his own recognizance. As you may recall, Wahler was arrested in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico earlier this month after a bar fight.

Wow. I don’t even know what to say … J. Wahl must love jail cells. When I blogged about his arrest in Mexico on Thursday I predicted that he would very likely get busted again … I just didn’t know it would happen a day later. You know, if he loves been arrested so much … I say let him keep getting arrested until he is forced to stay behind bars for good. At the rate that he is going, permanent incarceration doesn’t seem that far off.

Last August we learned that former Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills star Jason Wahler was arrested for the 5th time in his very young life and today we learn that J. Wahl was busted AGAIN down in Mexico. The deets around this arrest and subsequent release are mysterious … primarily because the US Consulate is somehow involved. Here is a photo of Wahler getting arrested by the Mexican authorities last week and the deets as sniffed out by TMZ about the whole ordeal:

Jason Wahler — former star of “The Hills” and “Laguna Beach” — has somehow made his way out of a Mexican jail, but for some reason the U.S. Consulate is keeping the reason for Jason’s release a secret. Wahler was cuffed in Cabo last Thursday and thrown in the pokey after getting in a fight. We couldn’t find any record of Jason yesterday when we called various jails. Today the Consulate told TMZ Jason was released seven hours after being locked up. As for why jailers let him out: Wahler signed a document keeping the terms of his release secret. We’ve never heard of that either. Jason’s dad tells TMZ as far as he knows no charges were filed against his son and he’s back in L.A. His dad says Jason tells him he was not drinking and was actually released after one hour.

HMMMMMMM … this is all verrrrrrry curious. Do you suppose that Jason Wahler may have been apprehended on foreign soil while he was working undercover for the US government on a secret mission abroad? Or, is it more likely that Wahler‘s very rich and well-connected father helped get his son sprung from this Mexican jail in the hopes of keeping this arrest off his already too long criminal record? I’m thinking scenario #2 is prolly the right one … and I’m thinkin’ that Jason Wahler is a very sad and lost young man. How is it that one can get arrested 6 times in under 25 years of existence? I don’t know about you but I somehow doubt this is the last arrest we’ll be hearing about from Jason Wahler.

RadarOnline is reporting that Jason Wahler, who gained fame from appearing on MTV‘s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and then from dating Lauren LC Conrad on MTV‘s The Hills, was has been booked and taken into custody in Seattle, WA after he was recently arrested on a charge of assault and drunken misbehavior. When he was arrested last month I recounted all his previous arrests in that post … but now it is my sad duty to inform y’all that J. Wahl in jail, y’all:

Former Hills star Jason Wahler has been jailed after being booked on an assault and minor drinking charge, RadarOnline.com has confirmed. Wahler, 22, who used to date his co-star Lauren Conrad, was booked in Seattle on September 25, 2009 at 12: 05 PM before being transferred to Yakima County Jail four days later. A Seattle court official told RadarOnline.com: “He will serve 120 days in jail but could get out after 80 days for good behavior.” A spokesman from Yakima County Jail said the troubled actor was inside their facility after he was sentenced by a judge. Earlier this year Wahler called off his engagement to tennis player and socialite Katja Sadowski.

I mean … I don’t even know what to say at this point. Once you’ve been arrested and/or jailed about half a dozen times by the age of 22, I think it’s safe to assume that you’re kind of a lost cause. It really sounds like booze is destroying this young man’s life … which is just too sad for words. I hope Wahler gets his shizz straight soon. Sad.

Former Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County reality TV star Jason Wahler (who famously dated Lauren LC Conrad for a while during her stint on The Hills) was arrested over the weekend for the 5th time. As you may recall, back in 2007, Wahler was arrested 4 times for crimes as varied as trespassing, assault, hate crimes, drunkenness and more … and this weekend he added assault with a deadly shoe to his list of crimes and misdemeanors. According to police, a very drunk Jason Wahler had to be arrested after he took off his shoes and started hurtling them at people. He got busted, y’all:

Former “Laguna Beach” star Jason Wahler got beach-slapped by the law Friday night — after Laguna Beach cops say he got drunk and threw his shoes at people … seriously. According to law enforcement sources, Wahler got into a scuffle with a bouncer at the Ocean Avenue Brewery and eventually got himself ejected. Somehow Wahler made his way back inside, cops said, and the bouncers had to toss him out again. But here’s the best part — witnesses say a frustrated Wahler then removed his shoes and fired them into the bar — and when security came out to remove him permanently, Jason allegedly threw a punch. Cops soon arrived on scene and arrested the reality reject for battery and public intoxication. Wahler still had 11 days left on his probation stemming from a drunken, racist, homophobic, violent tirade back in 2007– which means he’s gonna get in even more trouble if convicted.

Yikes, what a sad shell of a person this young man has become. After all the trubs he got into back in 2007, you might imagine that had learned his lesson. In fact, he’s kept his nose out of trouble for almost 2 years now … but clearly, if this police report is to be believed, Wahler‘s problems with alcohol are still intact. Perhaps forcing the lad into a rehabilitation program will do him some good, mebbe save his life? I sincerely hope Jason Wahler cleans up his act before he totally ruins what’s left of his life.

Lauren LC Conrad debuted her new Spring/Summer 2009 fashion collection at Smashbox Studios at LA Fashion Week last night (you may recall we got a preview of her collection yesterday afternoon) and decided to head out to STK restaurant to celebrate afterward. Coincidentally, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt — her avowed nemeses (or is it nemesises?) — were also dining at STK at the same time. After emerging from the restaurant, Speidi spoke to Extra TV and publicly gave their congratulations to LC on her new collection with Heidi adding, “I love Lauren”:

Frenemies Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag kiss and make up — and “Extra” made it happen! The “Hills” starlets ran into each other at STK, where “Extra” was with Conrad at the exclusive after-party for her fashion show — when nemesis Heidi and beau Spencer Pratt suddenly showed up! Speidi tells “Extra” they were unaware of Conrad’s party and were just stopping in for a drink on their break from shooting “The Hills” down the street. When Montag saw Conrad arrive, “Extra” witnessed the former BFFs exchanging a polite “Hi” before Lauren went into her separate party room. At the fashion bash, L.C. revealed to “Extra” that Heidi was “cool” — and “it was no problem she was there” just as long as Spencer didn’t cause any trouble. Heidi then pulled an “Extra” producer aside to say she wanted to chat with her old roommate — and “Extra” brought them together! The girls chatted for a moment — then both suddenly burst into tears and HUGGED! After the tearful reunion, Heidi personally thanked “Extra” for arranging the impromptu meeting, and said of Lauren’s clothing, “It’s a great line and I love Lauren, so congratulations.” Even Spencer expressed his support of Conrad, saying, “Congratulations, L.C.”

Say what? I find it so interesting that we, the TV viewing audience, are shown one thing on The Hills (ie. Spencer Pratt‘s venomous ire for his enemy LC) and then in real life we see something very different. Click HERE to watch video of Speidi offering their congrats to LC. HMMM.
