Britney Spears, who recently completed the first leg of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears, has taken a break from rehearsals (she is due to take her tour to the UK next month with a few revamped numbers) to jet off to the Caribbean with her children for a little R&R before she goes back on the road. Oh, and her hunky agent Jason Trawick went along for the trip … here are a few photos:

Damn … Britney is lookin’ good these days. The rigors of touring has really helped her get in great shape. I still believe that something is going on betwixt Britney and Jason … either they are really, really good friends or there is something of a romantic nature goin’ on (something I’ve suspected before). They look way too cozy for things to be a strictly professional relationship. I don’t recall seeing photos of Britney chillin’ with a shirtless Larry Rudolph ever. HMMM. Whatever is going on, she looks happy and that is all that matters. I’ve said it before, I think Jason Trawick would be a great guy for our dear Britney. They really do seem to like one another … don’t you think?

Britney Spears, who is back home in SoCal for a few weeks having just completed the first leg of her tour and is planning to take the show to Europe next month, was spotted with her agent and RUMORED romantic interest Jason Trawick over the weekend. The couple were riding — alone — in her white Mercedes. According to reports, the couple just drove around LA for 2 straight hours … never once stopping for food or gas:

HMMM … driving around for 2 hours, Britwick? What in the world could they have talked about for such a long time? I suppose it’s entirely possible that they were just tooling around LA talking biz but … isn’t it also possible that they wanted to spend time together and not worry about being seen or overheard? Unfortch for that scenario, the paps are really good at getting photos of people in their cars so … HMMM. What the case may be, I think it’s great that Britney has guys like Jason in her life rather than the seedy dudes she used to fraternize with. Coupled up or not, I like seeing Britney with Jason. I think he’s a good influence on her.

How’s this for interesting news … E! News is reporting that Britney Spears has started up a new, secret romantic relationship with one of the men in her life … longtime talent agent Jason Trawick. Actually, there have been whispers that the two were more than just biz associates, going back as far as May of last year when the couple were snapped in semi-intimate poses together while Britney was on holiday in Costa Rica last Spring. According to E!, the couple have stepped up their personal involvement and have been enjoying secret dates with one another on more recent occasions. Here are a couple of rare photos of the two of them in close proximity (they take great pains to avoid being photographed together in public intimate settings) last year and the report from E!:

Britney Spears isn’t confining her comeback to the stage. The “Gimme More” purveyor is at work on her personal life, too. E! News has learned that Spears, 27, has been secretly on dates with her longtime talent agent, Jason Trawick. Trawick, 37, a William Morris Agency rep, recently joined Spears for the first four shows of her Circus tour, but we have learned that the two recently have grown much closer away from the workplace. Trawick declined to comment and referred our request to Spears rep, who has given no official comment on any extracurricular relationship. Trawick’s WMA assistant would only confirm that Trawick had been traveling with Spears on her Circus tour and is now back in L.A. A Spears insider, meanwhile, insists that the singer and the agent strictly have a “close professional relationship” and that’s it, calling it “ridiculous” to suggest the pair is anything close to “romantic.” But another well-placed source tells E! News that Trawick’s talent agency bosses are OK with his tight bond with his client and, in fact, “They joke about it.” Trawick has been Spears’ agent for about five years and also represents Hilary Duff, Taylor Swift and Paris Hilton. Trawick was spotted with Spears and her sons on March 1 in Louisiana, riding around in a golf cart right before she began her tour. The four were wearing sweatshirts, and Trawick was holding Sean Preston while Britney drove, holding Jayden James. In May 2008, Trawick jetted down to Costa Rica with Spears to Mel Gibson’s retreat, sparking romance rumors that were never confirmed. The two were seen smiling and laughing as they boogie-boarded in the surf. Spears wore nothing more than a bikini and rode around on the back of an ATV with her arms firmly planted on Trawick’s waist. They were then photographed together May 23 at Christian Audigier’s 50th birthday party at L.A.’s Petersen Automotive Museum. Trawick has been credited with helping Spears reunite with her parents, manager Larry Rudolph, and landing her comeback role on How I Met Your Mother. Perhaps most important, Britney’s conservator approves. Says a Spears family confidante: “Jason is one of the few people who Jamie Spears trusts.”

Halle-freakin’-lujah!!! I pray to the gods that this report is true … if Britney really has decided to take up a romantic relationship with someone as accomplished and stable as Jason Trawick then that would be the PERFECT next step in her cementing her life in normalcy. Except for Justin Timberlake all those years ago, Britney has never dated anyone of any professional means. A man like Trawick would offer stability and comfort that I’m sure she’s been missing and aching for for years. Man … I do hope this turns out to be true. What do y’all think … isn’t this the greatest hope of all?

Our dear Britney Spears spent part of her long holiday weekend in the company of friends on a boat in Marina Del Rey, CA … most specifically her William-Morris agent friend Jason Trawick. Now, I don’t necessarily believe the rumors that Brit Brit and Jason are hooking up on the sly (tho, I prefer him as a boyfriend to pretty much every other guy she’s ever been romantically involved with since her days with Justin Timberlake) but I do find it interesting that Britney and her agent manage to spend a lot of friendly alone-time together (holidays included) from time to time. I am greatly disturbed by the new reports that Britney has been creepin’ around with her former flame Adnan Ghalib so that is why I’m encouraged that Britney is spending this time with Jason … but again, I don’t really see that there is any sort of love connection betwixt the two of them … unfortunately. Ah well, romantically-involved or not Jason is very good for her. He has managed to help the girl get her career back in order (he was instrumental on getting her to appear on How I Met Your Mother earlier this year) and for that I will be eternally grateful. I just hope that all these intimate vacations, dinners, etc. may one day ignite the spark of lurve. Hello, he’s a total catch for her … a hottie with a job! That right there makes him better than almost all of her former boyfriends combined.
