Michael Cera was joined by co-stars and celeb friends at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA last night for the Hollywood premiere of his new film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Adapted from the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O’Malley, this new film tells the tale of a 23-year old Canadian slacker who falls in love with a girl and must battle her 7 evil ex-boyfriends in order to win her heart. To be honest, I only had a passing awareness of the graphic novel series but I absolutely fell in love with the movie when I saw the first movie trailer earlier this year. I’ll be the first to admit that Michael Cera tends to bug the HELL out of me … but I was won over so entirely by the movie trailer that I am willing to overlook that fact and give the movie a chance. The film utilizes elements from comic books and video games to heighten the experience of the movie … it just looks really damn cool. I’ve since checked out some of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels and I’ve determined I like them very much. The animation in the books is very simple but effective … I really like the cuteness of the books. I’m hoping the film will be as fun as the trailer makes it seem. Congratulations and WTF? are in order for indie actor Jason Schwartzman and his longtime clothing designer girlfriend Brady Cunningham who we are just now learning were secretly wed in a very quiet ceremony last month! Yes, folks, the Schwartz Man and his lady love got hitched!!

Jason Schwartzman, famous for his roles in Rushmore and The Darjeeling Limited, has tied the knot with clothing designer Brady Cunningham, PEOPLE has confirmed. The couple wed at their home in the San Fernando Valley on July 11. “It was a very small ceremony with many family members and close friends,” the actor’s rep, Matt Labov, tells PEOPLE. The couple dated for three years and got engaged earlier this year. Schwartzman can be seen next in HBO’s series Bored to Death in September.

Awww … you can almost hear all the hearts breaking from all those übercool indie chicks who see Jason as THE perfect man. Sorry ladies and gents, he’s officially off the market now. I knew that he and Brady were dating for some time now but they were deffo a couple that I never really thought about with any regularity. It’s no wonder they were able to get hitched without anyone being the wiser. I wish them nothing but love and a long life of happiness. Congrats!!
