30 Seconds To Mars Continue Filming Their New Music Video

Yesterday we saw photos of night one of a music video shoot for the new 30 Seconds to Mars single Kings + Queens (from their new album This Is War due out on December 8) which took place in downtown LA Sunday night and today we get to see photos from night two of the shoot which took place on Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, CA last night:

I kinda love Jared Leto’s white bike … and I really love that 30StM invited their fans to come out and be a part of their new music video. I can’t say that I even know any of the bands songs but I am well aware that they are very committed to their very loyal fans and do their best to include them whenever possible. I understand the album artwork for their new release will feature the faces of some of their lucky fans and will be released with 2000 different covers. That’s really freakin’ cool. I have to admit … I’m curious to see how this video turns out. The fact that it will feature hottie Jared Leto is another plus :)

30 Seconds To Mars Film A New Music Video

Jared Leto and his band, 30 Seconds to Mars, were joined by a gaggle of compatriots on the 6th Street Bridge in Los Angeles, CA yesterday to film a music video for the first single (Kings + Queens) off their new album (This Is War). The band posted a message on their official website urging fans with bikes to come out and be a part of their music video. Here are a couple photos from the shoot yesterday and the message posted by the band on their site:

This Sunday night, October 11th and Monday night, October 12th we will be filming a one of a kind night time mass bicycle ride through the streets of Los Angeles as part of the short film for Thirty Seconds to Mars’ new single “KINGS + QUEENS”. We would love to invite you to join us for The Ride. Its a one of a kind adventure and we will be shutting down streets, tunnels, bridges, Santa Monica Pier and even Hollywood Blvd. We start at shooting at 6pm. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN BIKE. If you’d like to come on this special ride with us please respond to this email ridenow123@Gmail.com with your name and photo by Friday October 9th @ 6pm so we can know who is coming and can get you details. If you want to be featured prominently and/or have a specialty bike, we would like you to be there the full time for continuity purposes. If you just want to join the fun feel free to come and be a part of it all. We shoot the big rides SUNDAY NIGHT 6PM onward and MONDAY 6PM onward.

PLEASE specify if you can only come one of the days and which day that would be. If you’ve never experienced a night ride with hundreds of people it is sure to be a night you will not soon forget! Let’s take back the city for a night, or two.

It’s unclear if fans who were not part of last night’s shoot can still participate on the second day of shooting tonight but it might be worth sending an email to address listed above if you are interested. It sounds like a fun way to interact with your fave band (if, indeed, any of y’all are fans of 30 Seconds to Mars) or a great way to get up -close and mebbe personal with Jared Leto himself. I like that the band has made this opportunity open to fans, I’m very curious to see the final result.

Jared Leto Gets Audience With The Queen Of Beverly Hills

When last we saw Jared Leto here on the blog he and his leather-clad 30 Seconds to Mars compatriots were spotted overtaking the streets of NYC for a new photoshoot … but Jared has brought his uncanny hawtness back home to SoCal and was spotted roaming the streets of Beverly Hills yesterday all by his lonesome. Well … he wasn’t all alone for the entire time … Jared managed to meet up with the infamous homeless woman known as The Queen of Beverly Hills on his outing yesterday (her name is actually Quween) … behold:

The Queen tends to hang out by one of the biggest parking structures in Bev Hills and likes to “protect” celebs from the paparazzi … the woman is a trip but she’s very nice. She tends to chill out in her lawn chair and even has a Gucci purse (which may or may not be authentic) and can be seen on any given day in BH. I’m not sure that Jared is a fan of The Queen but she is obvs a fan of his. Nice to see Jared back home in Cali … mebbe I’ll see him riding his bike around town.

Jared Leto & The Martians Take Manhattan

Jared Leto, sometimes actor/sometimes frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars who has been popping up here on the blog in the past couple of weeks (HERE and HERE), was spotted roaming the streets of NYC yesterday with his leather-clad band of compatriots lookin’ like they were lookin’ for trouble:

Could it be that Leto and his unruly band of thugs were lookin’ to mug a few old ladies? Might they have been lookin’ to crack some unwitting skulls? Is it possible they were lookin’ to cause a commotion? After the jump, check out a few more photos that reveal what Jared and his gang were really up to …

It turns out that Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo Milicevic were merely mugging for the camera for a new 30 Seconds to Mars photoshoot:

It seems pretty evident to me that Jared has upped his public profile in recent weeks to remind people that he exists, mainly to help promote a new 30StM album that is most likely on the way. Okay … fess up … who’s excited?

Jared Leto Bikes His Way Thru Fashion Week

While Shia LaBeouf was bizzy zooming his way thru the streets of Manhattan on a motorcycle, Jared Leto was quite content to bike his way thru New York Fashion Week on his bicycle. Here are a couple photos of Jared unlocking his bike and then departing the G-Star Fashion Show here in NYC last night cuz that’s just the way he rolls:

I have to say, I love the idea of Jared Leto getting around by bicycle … and while wearing a motorcycle jacket, no less. Homie has been getting around a lot lately. He was just in LA last week for the final Nine Inch Nails concerts and now he’s popping up all over NYC at various NY Fashion Week shows … I guess his bike really comes in handy. I hope we get to see pics of Jared actually riding his bike sometime … I dunno why but that’s a sight I’d really love to see :)

The Stars Come Out For Marc Jacobs Spring 2010

Pretty much every celeb in NYC made their way out to attend the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 fashion show which took place at The Armory here for New York Fashion Week yesterday and then made their way, post haste, to the Hiro Ballroom for the afterparty. Here are a few pics of some of the celebs who attended the event last night:

This is but a smattering of the celebs who packed themselves into the ballroom to celebrate Jacobs’s newest collection. So … wanna see what all the fuss was about? I deffo like the look of this collection over the other one … but, then again, I always respond better to crazy colors like these. There is no question that Marc Jacobs is the rock star of NY Fashion Week … and he doesn’t seem to ever disappoint.

Jared Leto Suffers A Nip Slip

Here are a couple hawt photos of Jared Leto, of Jordan Catalano fame, enjoying the Malibu Country Mart in Malibu, CA yesterday morning. As you can see, Leto is a huge Def Leppard fan and was proud to show his devotion on his cut-up t-shirt … fortunately for us, said cut-up shirt offered a wee peek at his unfortunate wardrobe malfunction:

Ain’t it just the Dickens when those pesky nipples slip out inadvertently from one’s clothing? The practice seems to happen more to women than it does to men but, as you can see, dudes are just as vulnerable to the nip slip as chicks are. I should also mention that Jared and his brother Shannon Leto were in attendance at the Nine Inch Nails show at The EchoPlex in LA, CA last night … I don’t recall that he was wearing this shirt, tho. Truth be told, I wouldn’t mind if he wore this short or ones exactly like it more often. Three cheers for nip slips!

Jared Leto, actor and musician, was spotted enjoying a short walk around his LA neighborhood this weekend sans shirt … behold:

It appears that someone was interested in enjoying the lovely weather we enjoyed here in SoCal over the weekend and was lookin’ to soak up some sun. Jared has really gotten his body back in shape after bulking up for his role in Chapter 27 a couple of years ago … it’s so nice of him to show it off :) Yeah, this post is pretty much chock full of gratuitousness so … let’s just enjoy, shall we?

Jared Leto Blogs About His Collabo With Kanye West

On Wednesday we got to check out a very strange photo of Kanye West, Jared Leto of (among other things) 30 Seconds to Mars and Brandon Flowers of The Killers together in the studio where they were working on a “DOPE ASS SONG” (Kanye’s words, not mine) together. Today, Jared Leto published a new blogpost on his official My Space profile enlightening us on the experience. Here is the full text of Jared’s latest blogpost and a photo he shares of Kanye “working his MPC“:

THE SECRET IS OUT…

So, as you may have heard, I, along with a small contigency of studio tanned soldiers took a short expedition to Hawaii and spent a not so tropical but nontheless fun filled weekend locked down in the studio working with Mr. West.

Kanye sang on a song I wrote called HURRICANE for our new 30 SECONDS TO MARS record and we experimented and explored on some other ideas as well. It was great. And he sounds amazing on the song. We may not have brought back any island tans but we did bring back the final track and it was an unforgettable trip.

P.S. Brandon Flowers is the nicest guy on the planet and has a great sense of direction. We may not have found our way home that night without him. Thanks Brandon.

So, I guess we will prolly get to hear this song after all. I have to admit, I never would’ve pictured Kanye West and Jared Leto as the kind of musicians who would fancy working together (throwing in Brandon Flowers just makes the whole notion even that more unbelievable) but here we have it. I, for one, love that these guys do like working together. If anything, it’s bound to be an interesting if not DOPE ASS SONG to check out. Who knows, if this collabo turns out to be a huge success, mebbe we’ll get to see other odd parings in the future. Marilyn Manson and Ashlee Simpson? Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift? Chris Cornell and Timbaland? Nah, all of those pairings would be TOO incapable of making any sort of interesting music ;)

Kanye West posted a new blogpost on his official blog yesterday along with a very interesting photo … both of which I present to you here (all spelling, grammatical and CAPS errors are Kanye’s own):

I WAS WORKING ON THIS DOPE ASS SONG WITH JARED AND BRANDON STOPPED BY. I PLAYED THEM SOME OF THE NEW JEEZY BEATS AND BEFORE EVERYBODY BOUNCED BRANDON HOPPED ON THE KEYBOARD AND I HOPPED ON THE MPC. SHIT WAS DOPE. OH AND YES THOSE ARE SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS ON BRANDON’S SHIRT BY DRIES VAN NOTEN.

Um, whut? Talk about your strange bedfellows … but, hey, I can dig it. I’m so glad that Kanye provided a photo of these three together cuz as strange as the blogpost sounds, the somewhat awkward photo really tells the tale. We can only hope that we will be able to, one day, hear this “dope ass song” by Kanye West featuring Jared Leto and Brandon Flowers. Do any of y’all have any guesses as to what an opus like this might be titled?
