I hope all y’all Aussies are ready for our dear Britney’s arrival. I understand it’s been EONS since she was in Australia and I’m sure there are hordes of rabid fans eagerly awaiting her return. Britney has scheduled 14 performances spread out from November 6 until November 29 in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbaine and Adelaide. As y’all know … I’ve seen the show, I LOVED the show … you Aussies are in for a treat! Enjoy!!

It is very evident that these boys love Jason … he seems to be very affectionate with them whenever we see them together … which seems to reinforce to me the notion that Britney and Jason are involved in a romantic relationship. It seems pretty clear to me the appeal of nabbing Jason Trawick as a boyfriend. He’s smart and talented … he’s great with kids … and he looks pretty good not wearing any clothes — win/win/win!!! Aww … such a cute family. I’m not sure if I totally believe the rumors that Jason and Britney aren’t together together … but I still contend they make a very nice family when they are all together. Britney posted a tweet on her official Twitter profile mentioning that her BFF Lance Bass showed up to be part of her show, she wrote:

LOL!! How fun!! Well … at least now that the US portion of the tour is over, Britney can relax for a while. She’s not due to take the tour to Oz until November. I think we should all send a hearty congrats to our dear Britney for successfully working her way thru a very entertaining tour. Well done, Britney!!

Yeah, dude … Brit Brit sure does love showing off her bangin’ bikini bod. Britney will be performing a couple concerts in the area this week so she clearly thought it would be fun to bring together members of her family for a little bonding time in Miami. It’s great to see them as a happy family, together again. After all the drama this family has been thru in recent years, it’s nice to see that all that seems to be water under the bridge … and life ahead looks happy and sunny. It’s crazy how big Maddie has grown … she’s like a little kid already. It’s just so cool to see them all bonding like one big happy family.

After making a big splash in the Bahamas the day before, Britney Spears emerged Saturday in Amite, La., where she made a low-key appearance as an “honorary” bridesmaid at the wedding of her cousin, Laura Lynne Covington. “When her brother walked her down the aisle, she looked stunningly calm and beautiful,” says one wedding guest. “She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the center of everything, just pretty and calm and collected.” The wedding took place at the First United Methodist Church, the same church where the funeral for Covington’s mother Sandra, who died of ovarian cancer, took place in January 2007. Later, at the wedding reception, the pop star hung out with her sister and fellow bridesmaid, Jamie Lynn, who toted baby Maddie, and “sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew,” says the guest. “There was no fanfare,” noted the guest. “With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride’s day.”

Unlike Britney’s fake cousin and former assistant Alli Sims, Laura Lynne is Britney’s real family and it makes sense that she would want to be a part of her special day. Laura Lynne was one of Britney’s bridesmaids when she got married to Kevin Federline back in 2004. It’s very clear to me that Britney only makes time for her family in matters like this, which I think is very healthy and good for her overall progress. It’s clear to me that Britney doesn’t like making too many appearances, especially at functions where her fame might be exploited but you can tell she remains grounded and loved when she returns to Louisiana. Congrats goes out to Laura Lynne on her nuptials.

Britney has been enjoying a wonderful vacation at Atlantis in the Bahamas with her family and friends. Here’s your first look at pictures of Britney and company soaking up all that the resort has to offer. Enjoying everything from water rides to sea creatures, everyone has gotten to rest and relax while taking a short break from ‘The Circus’ tour.

Aww … it really looks like everyone is having a great time, especially our dear Britney. Just when you thought she couldn’t look any happier … she goes on vacation and looks even happier. Perhaps some of her new happiness has to do with the company she’s been keeping (and I ain’t referring to her family). Earlier this week, we did see photos of Britney and her agent Jason Trawick enjoying some alonetime as they strolled the beach together … this new batch of photos includes images of Britwick continuing to look all “friendly” with one another. Now … I know that agents are supposed to care for their clients but Jason seems to be going above and beyond the call of duty. I, for one, love it. Jason Trawick seems a very stable, very mature man and I’m sure his influence has been very good for Britney these past few months. Long live Britwick, I say!! I love the pic of the two of them in their inner tube … they do make a cute couple, don’t you think?

The elaborate costumes are packed. The 16 semis filled with magic props and big-top sets are on the road. When Britney Spears takes the stage at the New Orleans Arena on March 3 – the opening night of her Circus tour – the stakes will never be higher. After more than two years of personal drama, the tour will either make or break the professional comeback she began last fall. According to sources, Spears, 27, who left Friday for Louisiana, has been hard at work preparing for the show, which will feature her signature sexy dance moves, a stage filled with three circus rings, and magic tricks. “She’s pretty determined,” a friend tells PEOPLE. “She missed singing and performing and the freedom of that. It gives her an escape and it’s what she loves to do, so she’s definitely thankful to be doing that again.” Though the pop star seemed to be back in old Britney form when she sang “Womanizer” on Good Morning America in December, the concert will be her biggest performance since her disastrous, out-of-shape appearance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. “I’ve got to believe she’s ready and will do a professional show,” Gary Bongiovanni, editor-in-chief of the concert trade magazine Pollstar, says. “If she doesn’t, it’s over.” Spears’s last tour, in 2004, was canceled after the singer injured her knee during a video shoot. (She spent her newfound free time with then-boyfriend Kevin Federline; they were engaged that summer.) So far, the buzz for the upcoming 31-city outing is strong. “In general, the tickets have sold very well. Some shows are already sold out,” Bongiovanni says. “Obviously, it means there is significant fan interest in seeing her do her live show. That fact that she’s been off the scene for a while helps with the pent-up demand” …The pop star’s friend worries the tour may be too much for the singer to handle, but notes that “it’s what her team thought was best.” What will make the trip easier is that Federline is taking the couple’s kids on the road so they can keep up their regular visitation schedule with Mom. “Having the boys with her is going to make all the difference,” says a source. “They are the reason she can do this.”

Man, I can’t believe her tour kicks off tomorrow night. We are just hours away from hearing our first reports about this new tour. I’m so torn … I’m dying to see pics but I don’t want to be spoiled. I suspect I’ll take a peek at the professional photos that are taken during the first few songs but I’ll save the rest for when I see the show live myself. I also having a sneaking suspicion that I’ll read a lot of reviews that will most definitely spoil some of the surprises … I can’t help it. Any spoilery info that I post will be marked as such and will be hidden from those of you who wish to remain unspoiled.

I was fortunate enough to see her last tour, The Onyx Hotel Tour (along with her previous Dream Within A Dream, Oops! I Did It Again and (U Drive Me) Crazy tours), live in Detroit, MI before she suffered the fateful knee injury that prematurely ended the tour … and changed her life forever. To be honest, it seems longer than 5 years ago … but it was the very same year that Pink is the new Blog launched. So much has happened since 2004. I am SO pulling for her tour to be a huge success. I’m also trying to keep my expectations from flying into the stratosphere … I think it’s wise to just go in with an open mind and prepare to be wowed. She can deffo do it … I know she can. Britney Spears is on the road again. The singer flew from Los Angeles to McComb, Miss. on Friday in anticipation of kicking off her Circus tour on Tuesday, March 3 in New Orleans. Spears, 27, arrived in at the airport – about 15 miles from her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana – looking fit and pretty in a red top and black skirt. She was accompanied by an entourage of about a dozen people, including her two sons Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, and her brother. The singer was met by her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears, who greeted Britney with a kiss on her forehead. According to a twitter posting on the singer’s Web site, she wrote that her status as of Friday afternoon was: “On my way to Kentwood … Five days left! So excited.” The tour is the last major step in Spears’s comeback, which she started last fall. “She looks great, she’s working out three or four hours a day,” a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. “Everybody’s pulling for her after all she’s been through.”

This pit stop is the last for Britney before she officially kicks off her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in New Orleans, LA next Tuesday. I imagine that Brit Brit will be recharging her batteries at home with her family for the next few days as final preparations for her tour continue to unfold. It must be a terribly exciting time for Britney right now … she’s been away from the performance stage for quite some time now. I’m trying not to have too grand expectations about her new tour. While I’m sure it’ll be a fun spectacle, I’m not really going into seeing it with any sort of expectations. I know it’ll rock … I just hope she’s ready. It won’t be long until we find out just how ready she really is.

It’s official – Britney Spears is no longer in control of herself. Court papers were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, making a judge’s October ruling (which made the conservatorship over Britney permanent) official. The conservatorship over the pop star legally began on January 5, 2009. The agreement gives permanent control of the pop star’s finances to her father, Jamie Spears, along with attorney Andrew Wallet. While Jamie is sole conservator over Britney’s personal matters. In the papers pertaining to Britney’s financial matters, it states Britney “is substantially unable to manage … her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.” When it comes to control over Britney, herself, the papers state the star “is unable properly to provide for his or her personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.” The personal order also gives Jamie Spears “the power to restrict and limit visitors by any means.” When Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz granted Jamie Spears a permanent conservatorship over his daughter on October 28, 2008, a court-appointed attorney for Spears said the singer did not object to the arrangement. Britney was not present in court on Monday, and instead was represented by attorney Sam Ingham.

Wow, this conservatorship biz is serious. I believe that now that the ruling has been made permanent the only way for it to end would be if Jamie Spears decides to end it or if he dies. Honestly, I’m a bit torn over the lengths of control that this conservatorship has over Britney’s person. On the one hand, I’m glad that her father was able to step in and take control in her time of need but on the other hand, this sort of control is usually reserved for people who are totally incapable of handling their own affairs (ie. someone in a coma). While Britney may have been a total mess a year ago (and may yet not be 100% right now), I think it might be a bit much for this conservatorship to be so far-reaching and permanent. In the end, tho, it has been nothing but positive for Britney’s life so … mebbe it is for the best. In any event, debate about the matter is over — it’s a done deal now.

Connecticut and Ohio have added concert dates, which seems to imply that other dates may get added as well if tickets continue to sell well.
