Here it is … our first look at the first photo of Maddie Briann, the first born child of Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge. As you may recall, Mama Lynne Spears brokered a deal with OK! magazine late last year to sell the exclusive story about Jamie Lynn‘s unplanned pregnancy, the photos from JL‘s baby shower in May and the world exclusive first photos of the baby itself for a reported $1 million dollars … and here she is, the million dollar baby herself, on the cover of this week’s issue of OK! magazine, due out on newsstands tomorrow:

Since giving birth on June 19 to baby girl Maddie Briann Aldridge, Jamie Lynn Spears has taken to doing what any good first time mom would do — making sure her brand new daughter has everything she needs. And, in an exclusive interview and photoshoot, the younger sister of Britney Spears tells OK! that being away from the shining lights of Hollywood is making it all easier to learn the ins and outs of first-time motherhood. “Around here, everyone has the same focus,” Jamie Lynn tells OK!. “The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live.” The 17-year-old actress opens up to OK! about everything — from taking parenting classes to life inside the new home she shares with Maddie and boyfriend Casey Aldridge, to her first experience with labor pains. “They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours,” Jamie Lynn tells OK!. “I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.” While the former Zoey 101 star and her fiancé have not yet set a date for their wedding, the couple remains closer than ever. Jamie Lynn, who tells OK! that while her labor was induced, she gave birth naturally and without complications, says that Casey was the one person she wanted in the delivery room with her. “Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all,” she says. “I was just talking to Casey. And you know what’s so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, ‘Yeah.’ We were both so excited.” A baby nursery is set up for little Maddie at the other end of the house, but for now her proud parents like having her next to them at night, so she sleeps in a bassinet in the same room as Jamie Lynn and Casey. “She is very good,” says Jamie Lynn. “She’ll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying.” The proud mama continues, “We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life.”

The full interview and the complete OK! magazine photoshoot of Maddie Briann, her first of a lifetime of photoshoots, will be published in the new issue of the mag which is due on newsstands tomorrow (but may end up in folks’s hands even sooner, depending on where in the country you are). As far as babies go, MB looks very cute and very standard baby-looking. It’s hard to determine which of her parents she looks more like … I hope the OK! photoshoot features pictures of father and daughter for comparison. And so, little Maddie‘s life of celebrity kid-dom gets its official start. And, as far as I can tell, Lynne Spears‘s deal with OK! magazine is fait accompli — the family provided all of the exclusive access to all things Maddie Briann up until her birth and, presumably, the mag paid up the million bucks. Hurray for Hollywood!! Alls I know is I can’t wait to get my hands on this magazine … I have to see all the pics myself.

Britney Spears‘s quick trip home to Kentwood, LA to be with her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears for the birth of her baby has already come to an end. Britney arrived back in LA yesterday afternoon and was met by a horde of waiting paparazzi eager to photograph her every step. At one point, a scuffle broke out amongst the paps and fists began to fly … but, in the end, they managed to quit the squabbling, shake hands and make up — like good little paps ought to. A day after her sister Jamie Lynn gave birth to a baby girl, a serious-looking Britney Spears returned to Los Angeles on Friday to a crush of rowdy paparazzi at the airport. After the group – consisting of Spears, assistant Brett, father Jamie and bodyguards – made their way down a terminal escalator, Jamie Spears pushed photographers out of the way. Britney, wearing sunglasses, was bumped several times. Hours earlier, the pop singer gave a tearful goodbye to family at the New Orleans airport after being on hand for the birth of her niece Maddie Briann. On the plane, Spears kept to herself in first class on the Delta flight, which also included celebrity passenger Amanda Bynes. “Britney didn’t seem happy and was mostly resting,” says a Meredth Wood, a fellow passenger. “She kept her sunglasses on for most of the flight.”

It’s unfortunate that Brit Brit couldn’t stay in Kentwood longer to bond with her new niece Maddie Briann but I’m sure that she’s got biz to take care of here in SoCal … not to mention her own young’ns to look after. There are rumors going around that Britney is planning to move back to Louisiana (at least according to Mama Lynne Spears) at some point in the future (maybe so that she can raise her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James with Jamie Lynn‘s new daughter) but I’m sure that won’t happen until her custodial issues are settled with former hubby Kevin Federline … so for the foreseeable future, she’s gonna be hangin’ around LA for a while. And speaking of Jamie Lynn‘s newborn daughter …

The National Enquirer is reporting that Jamie Lynn Spears has already given birth to her new baby (a girl) earlier today (at approx. 8am CT) which was followed by a report from US Weekly also stating that JL gave birth … to a baby girl she named Maddie … here are the deets as reported by these two outlets:

Jamie Lynn has entered Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Ms at 4 a.m. today and delivered via C-section at approximately 8:30 a.m. (CST) The baby weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. The father is Casey Aldridge. The 17-year-old Zoey 101 star had an ultrasound last week, indicating her baby may be in breech position. Jamie Lynn is currently resting in a recovery room.

From Us Weekly: Jamie Lynn Spears has given birth, a source tells Usmagazine.com. Daughter Maddie was born Thursday at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi. Maddie weighed 7 lbs., 11 ounces. This is the first child for 17-year-old actress and her 19-year-old fiance Casey Aldridge, a pipe layer.

Wee! If true, much congrats to proud parents JL and Casey Aldridge and to the entire Spears/Aldridge family. I really hope that Maddie‘s full name is Maddie May Spears — cuz that’s what I’m gonna call her irregardless of what her actual name may be ;) Ahhhhh … it’s a love day, ain’t? First we get new Beckham bulge pics and now a new member of the Spears family … the only thing left to make today totally killer would be the discovery of nude Jake Gyllenhaal pics. Woot!

UPDATE: People confirms that JL gave birth and named her daughter Maddie but reveal that her full name is Maddie Briann:

There is a new baby in the Spears clan! Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl Thursday morning. PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann. “Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”

Meh. I like Maddie May better ;) Again, much congrats to all!!! And remember, we won’t be seeing what little Maddie Briann looks like (at least, officially) until her photospread comes out in OK! magazine (which was a deal that Mama Lynne Spears brokered with the mag when it was revealed that JL was pregs in the first place earlier this year).
