Last Friday we got to see a few pics of Ryan Phillippe and girlfriend Abbie Cornish spending an afternoon with his children Ava and Deacon and today we get to see what mommy Reese Witherspoon has been up to. Here are new pics of Reese with her beloved Jake Gyllenhaal as they strolled the streets of London, England this weekend (hand-in-hand at times) doing a bit of laughing and shopping together. It pains me, as ever, to admit … they really do look cute together:

I understand that that little white bag that Reese is carrying is from Myla lingerie store. Yes, it would appear that things are coming along nicely betwixt these two. Jakey poo has taken to keeping his longer hair underwraps again … and even tho I think he looks quite fetching in his Fall outfit and knit hat combo, I would much prefer to see how his longer locks have been doing lately. They really do look happy don’t they? Yeah, it kills me, too.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who has been out of the public eye for the past few weeks working on his new movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, emerged in London, England this weekend. Sporting a fleece jacket from 66° North (which is an Icelandic outerwear company, I might add) Jakey poo was snapped making his way out of Cipriani restaurant Friday evening … here are a couple of pics:

Woot! It has been far too long since we’ve laid eyes on our dear Jake and he is a sight for sore eyes. I love that he is rockin’ a fleecy jacket from 66° North. When David and I were in Iceland, we learned that 66° North is pretty much the dress code for any Icelander who needs to brave the weather in comfort and style. Glad to see that Jake is part of the fam ;) While I can appreciate that Jakey poo has prolly been hard at work on his new film, I’m glad that the lad deigned to come out of hiding to remind us of how much we (well, I, at least) totally

This week new photos of an overly beefed up Jake Gyllenhaal (on the set of his new movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which he is currently filming) popped up on various sites and the amazing site Pretty on the Outside took notice. Hallelujah! Contrary to a report over the weekend from the ever credible Daily Mail, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are officially denying that they have decided to be married this Xmas. I think a resounding, Praise Jebus! is apropos. First up, the engagement rumor and then the denial from the couple:

A very merry Christmas might be in store for one of Hollywood’s most low-key couples. Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal plan to tie the knot at Christmas, according to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper. Gyllenhaal, 27, reportedly told friends that he and his Oscar-winning girlfriend, 32, will marry on or around Dec. 19 – his birthday. “Jake is telling everyone they are getting married at Christmas,” said a source on the set of the actor’s new film, “Prince of Persia.” “He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time. When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes.”

Fortunately, the couple released a statement to People magazine today shooting down this wildly inaccurate report:

Reps for Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are denying tabloid reports that the couple are engaged. “They are not engaged, getting married or any of the reports,” the reps tell PEOPLE exclusively, calling the reports “lies.”

And we can all heave a collective sigh of relief. I mean, I really am trying to get used the idea of GyllenSpoon together as a couple (even tho they haven’t really officially announced that they are romantically involved in the first place) but I dunno that my fragile little heart can take the notion of the two of them getting married … or even engaged! No, I think I like things just the way they are … ambiguous and, hopefully, fleeting.

There are a few adorable pics of Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava enjoying the Bastille Day fireworks display near the Eiffel Tower making the rounds online where Ava was able to enjoy a pretty nice view of the fireworks up on Jake‘s shoulders … click HERE to check them out. That’s a damn lucky little girl, yes? But while the “family” was all smiles at the fireworks display, it was a bit of a different story the next day when Jake accompanied the kiddies, both Ava and Deacon, on a stroll on the streets of Paris … clearly, Jake had more important things to do than pay any attention to Reese‘s kids:

Hee hee … you will note that Reese isn’t with Jake and the kids sooo mebbe he wasn’t interested in feigning interest in them? Nah … I’m sure he was just checking up on important emails for a quick second and wasn’t totally ignoring her kids at all :)

It’s unclear how much longer GyllenSpoon are planning to be in Paris but I think it’s about time they wrapped up their holiday and went back to the UK — Jake has important training to undertake for his next movie role. He shouldn’t be playing house when he’s got work to do.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who finally showed off his longer hair earlier this week, has surfaced in Paris, France with his ladylove Reese Witherspoon and her children Ava and Deacon this weekend after the group spent some time in the UK last week. Here are a few pics of Jakey poo wearing a skull cap presumably to keep his new hair’do under cover:

Boo … I mean, Jake looks great (as usual) but I wish he would stop covering up his longer hair. It’s a great look for him, I’d like to see as much of it as possible. AND … since I mentioned that Reese and her kiddies are with Jake in Paris, here are a few pics of them making their way into their hotel:

I must admit, they all make a cute little “family” but I can’t help but still feel like it’s not right. Jake is hanging out with Ryan Phillippe‘s family, not one of his own. I get that Witherppe is totally dunzo and that they need to move on with other people (Ryan seems happily attached with Abbie Cornish) but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to Jake with Reese and Ryan‘s family.

Jakey poo has made his way to the UK to begin training work on his new movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and I believe that Reese (and her kids Ava and Deacon) tagged along for moral support, lending credence to those nagging reports that the couple are “in love” which I *still* refuse to believe (mainly because my frail little heart won’t let me believe). Anyways, it’s curious that Jake is wearing that hoodie so low over his head … I’m pretty sure he’s trying to hide his longer locks from sight since production on his new movie has just begun and the movie isn’t due for release until next year. We’ve yet to get a good look at his longer hair, I’m curious to see what it looks like. He can’t keep it hidden for too long.

Well now … I guess now we know why Jake Gyllenhaal doesn’t have time to hang out with his buddies Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong here in SoCal these days … Jakey poo has been bizzy training in the UK for his upcoming role as Prince Dastan in his new movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (which is based on the video game of the same name). Here are a few pics of Jake as he practices his horseback riding skills somewhere in England earlier today:

I’m actually very surprised that Jake has to prepare at all for any role on horseback … did he forget all of his training from working on Brokeback Mountain with Heath Ledger? Tsk Tsk. Well, I suppose he didn’t have to wield a sword while riding on top of a horse (tho, if memory serves, he may have learned how to wield another kind of sword in those steamy tent scenes) so I guess some training is in order. Le sigh. I forgot how good Jake looks sitting atop a bucking bronco. I hope we get to see more training pictures of Jake over the coming weeks. Shirtless jousting, perhaps? ;) Just as long as he butches things up a bit …

… the limp-wristed look does nothing for him.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal spent part of their weekend enjoying a private yoga class together in Santa Monica, CA yesterday morn … the couple were snapped carrying their colorful yoga mats as they made their way into the class. The couple looked happy to be going to class together but something tells me that Jake‘s mind was … elsewhere:

Don’t get me wrong … I understand that yoga is a great way to get in shape and can even be fun (I even plan on giving it a try one of these days … but most prolly by way of Wii Fit rather than an actual yoga class) but Jake looked a lot happier back when he was workin’ out with and hanging out daily with his shirtless bros Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong. Ah well … Jake has settled down with Reese and her kiddies (I guess) so he must like the quiet life … yeah … right.
