Last weekend we learned that Taylor Lautner, as the Jacob Black character in the Twilight series of movies, would be immortalized as a Barbie doll and today we learn that Lautner’s BFF and rumored paramour Taylor Swift is also getting in on the doll action. Here is our first look at one of the new Taylor Swift dolls:

Back in August we learned that Twilight characters Bella Swan and Edward Cullen would be made into collectible Barbie dolls to be released for sale in time for the release of the sequel film The Twilight Saga: New Moon next week. Today we learn that Twilight character Jacob Black will also get the Barbie doll treatment. Unfortch for the members of Team Jacob, his doll won’t be released until next year … but the good news is that the doll comes with as little clothing as possible:

LOL. They gave the poor doll a pair of cutoff shorts, some shoes … and that’s it! Hahahahha. Love it. You may recall that we saw a prototype Jacob Black doll at San Diego Comic Con over the Summer which was shirtless as well. This doll is a bit less ripped as that doll was so depending on how ripped you want your shirtless dolls to be, you might want to wait for the release of that Jacob Black doll. And suddenly, I’m aware of the ridiculousness of this discussion. San Diego Comic-Con is now in FULL SWING and the goodies from all of our fave sci-fi-related movies and TV shows keep comin’ out. Yesterday we learned that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were on hand for a press conference at Comic-Con yesterday to promote their new film The Twilight Saga: New Moon and earlier today we learned that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp were on hand to promote their new Disney film Alice In Wonderland. But, it’s not just video footage that is being revealed at Comic-Con … there are a bunch of toys action figures that are being debuted as well … like, for example, a new Twilight action figure based on the character Jacob Black. As you can see from this first look at the toy, Jacob is shirtless … and ripped:

Oh yes, I’m sure there are quite a few folks out there would would LOVE to get their hands on this particular action figure. Can you imagine all the ways in which you can play with this little doll? BUT, keep it clean y’all … I’m pretty sure that the target audience for these action figures is children. What sort of games would YOU like to play with this action figure of Jacob Black?

A couple new promo pics from the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: New Moon have made their way to the Internets which I think y’all need to take a gander at. First up, we’ve got a new movie still of Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner) gettin’ all up close and personal with Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart) in her ancient truck:

Clearly this scene is meant to highlight the growing attraction between Jacob and Bella that takes place thruout the course of the film. I believe you’re supposed to be thinking, Edward who? when watching this scene. This past Thursday we saw a movie poster of a very shirtless Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black from the new movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon that was initially believed to be an official movie poster. It turns out that the poster was merely a fan creation (of Taylor Lautner’s head on a Brazilian models shirtless body). Today, we finally get to see the movie poster featuring Jacob Black purported to be the official poster … along with purported new posters for both Bella Swan and Edward Cullen as well. First up, here is Jacob’s new poster:

While this photo is still very cool, I think it would have much more appeal if it featured Jacob after his haircut and without his shirt (ie. they should’ve emulated the fan made poster). Tho, on the other hand, I can appreciate how the New Moon folks might not want to be giving it all away so soon. Hopefully we’ll get a different more half-nekkid poster later on down the line. Last December we learned that the Tonner Doll Company was releasing a set of dolls of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen from the big screen adaptation of the book Twilight. Today, we get our first look at the new set of dolls from the Tonner company created for the upcoming new film The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Say hello to the doll versions of Bella, Edward and Jacob Black:

Now, fans of The Twilight Saga can play to their heart’s content with these 3 dolls … placing them in whatever kind of fun scenarios they can dream up! How fun!! The mind boggles at all the fun predicaments that one can place these three dolls in and out of … depending on your proclivities, the possibilities are endless! I’m not sure if the Jacob doll is available for sale just yet (he is not yet listed on the Tonner website) but I’d suggest saving your pennies now … the dolls each sell for about $120. Prices this high seems to suggest that these particular dolls are meant for an adult audience. Again, imagine all the adult play that YOU can enjoy with dolls like these :)
