Gwen Stefani, who has been off the radar for quite a few months, is back and on the cover of the new issue of In Style magazine. Gwen takes on 20 questions posed by the mag and also poses for a fairly stylish (yet sometimes tacky) accompanying photospread. Ah … it’s great to have Gwen back, no?

Jennifer Lopez is showing everyone what 40 and fabulous looks like in the September issue of InStyle. The dancer/singer/actress/designer/mom graces the magazine’s 15th Anniversary Issue’s cover in a cutting-edge, sculpted Jil Sander dress and Hermès spiked cuffs, all in a sophisticated black and white palette (minus her bright cherry red lips). Inside, the black-and-white theme continues as the mother of two smolders in classic JLo style — thigh-high Christian Louboutin leather boots paired with a puffy-sleeve Louis Vuitton dress and Marc Jacobs bracelets, and later in a body-hugging hooded sweater by ALC, the label of Lopez’ ace stylist Andrea Lieberman. As seen in the shoot’s exclusive behind-the-scenes video, despite a short hiatus after having twins, Lopez still knows how to pose like a pro, working it in floor length gowns by Versace Atelier, Givenchy, and Nina Ricci, as well as a Herve Leger cut-out dress that proves Lopez isn’t packing an ounce of baby weight. “She knows how to play for the camera,” says photographer Michelangelo Di Battista of Lopez. “It makes my job easy.

It’s crazy, J. Lo never seems to age! She still looks as fabulous as ever. While I realize that a lot of her perfection in this photospread (as well as pretty much all photospreads in all magazines) is due to the adept use of Photoshop, you cannot deny that Jenny from the Block is still lookin’ amazing these days. In Style chose well when they selected her for the cover of their 15th Anniversary issue. Earlier this month we learned that the middle Jonas brother, Joe, was featured in the new issue of In Style magazine (you may recall that he revealed his celebrity crush to be Daniel Craig) and today we learn that star of Gossip Girl and the upcoming Footloose remake, Chace Crawford, is also featured in the mag. Here are a couple of Chace‘s sexy In Style pics and the full text of his mini-interview:

“I don’t go to a bar looking for a blonde. although I have friends who do that. It’s not about physicality, it’s about how a person carries herself.”

Hair apparent: As Gossip Girl’s Nate Archibald, Crawford personifies prep-school hot with those chiseled cheekbones and cerulean eyes peeking out from under side-swept bangs. A real-life good guy with a pretty-boy face, he’s the Andrew McCarthy for the new teen set.

French connection: For Crawford, sexy goes way beyond looks and can be found anywhere from a Kings of Leon bass line to the City of Light. “There’s something about walking the streets of Paris,” he says. “The people, the language, the late-night dinner.”

All in day’s work: “It’s fun.” Leighton Meester has said of the on-camera kisses she shares with Crawford on the Gossip Girl set. “He’s sooo cute, so it’s definitely not hard!”

Chace’s Celebrity Crush: Ellen Page

Chace is a cutie but it still remains to be seen if he can adequately fill Kevin Bacon‘s very big shoes when he takes on the remake of Footloose later on this year. As for this interview, meh, he didn’t really give us much meat to gnaw on. It’s a shame that he, too, didn’t list Daniel Craig as his celebrity crush … that would’ve explained so much ;)

Last week we saw the risqué photo of middle Jonas brother Joe Jonas as featured in the new issue of In Style magazine (well, risqué for a rosy-cheeked lad who shuns the trappings of premarital sex by proudly wearing a purity ring) and today we get to see a few more photos from that shoot. As I mentioned before, I’ve done my best to avoid posting about any of the Jonas Brothers here on the blog but since I posted the last pic (along with the lad’s quote that his “celebrity crush” is on the very hawt Daniel Craig) I figured I’d be remiss if I didn’t post the follow-up photos … behold:

I have always contended that most everyone looks better when they are all wet … now, I’m not necessarily commenting on the appeal of this young lad by saying so but clearly the photographer was trying to amp up the young man’s allure by photographing him all soaking wet. I’m fairly certain that young girls (and boys) have already made their way to the closest newsstand to purchase their copies of In Style magazine so that the photo of wet Joe Jonas can be ripped out and securely affixed to their bedroom walls. How many of YOU have done the same?

Ugh … I have TRIED to resist posting anything about any of the Jonas Brothers on this blog but, try as I might, this item is just too good to let pass. Joe Jonas (the “pretty one” of the Jonas Bros as opposed to Nick the “young one” and Kevin the “other one”) is featured fully clothed and soaking wet in the new issue of In Style magazine. And you thought only underage girls get sexually exploited by the media. While this photo in and of itself is totally LOLworthy and worth posting — there’s more. Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel star Eliza Dushku appears in the new issue of In Style magazine modeling a few look-changing hair’dos in order to promote her upcoming new series Dollhouse which premieres on FOX on Friday February 13. Here are a few photos of Eliza from the mag:

As I mentioned previously, in Dollhouse, Eliza plays the character of Echo — a woman stripped of her own personality and who is programmed with new personalities on a weekly basis .. therefore, she makes the perfect person to model these new looks for the mag. Of the three, I think I like the ponytail look the best … the bob ain’t doin’ it for me. To be honest, tho, Eliza looks pretty damn good no matter what hair’do she’s rockin’. Which of these three ‘dos do you prefer?

Yesterday we got to see a pretty unflattering coverphoto of Twilight star Kristen Stewart on the December/January issue of Teen Vogue magazine and to make up for it, we have a bunch of new (and much prettier) photos from In Style magazine. Kristen (who plays Bella Swan) is joined by her Twlight co-stars Robert Pattinson (who plays Edward Cullen) and Kellan Lutz (who plays Emmet Cullen) in this new In Style photospread:

Oh yes, these photos are MUCH nicer than the Teen Vogue photo and are right on par with the shoot that the cast did for Vanity Fair magazine. These Twilight kids are everywhere these days … I think they’re running out of magazines to be featured in. Beyoncé is featured on the cover of the new issue of In Style magazine and in her coverstory interview she talks about how much fun she had gaining the almost 15lbs. to play the role of soul singer Etta James in her upcoming film Cadillac Records:

Beyoncé reclaimed her bootylicious curves (and then some!) to play soul singer Etta James in the upcoming film Cadillac Records. “I gained almost 15 pounds to play the role,” Beyoncé, 27, says in the November issue of In Style. “It was way easier – and tastier – than having to lose so much weight for Dreamgirls.” Her legendary role didn’t only affect her figure, but it also rubbed off on her music. “Lyrically, it’s deeper than what I’ve done before,” the singer, who recently debuted two singles, says of her album due Nov. 18. “I wasn’t mature enough or old enough, or in touch with myself enough, to do this type of album before. I didn’t have the guts.”

Well, she appears to have the guts now … of course, we’ve yet to hear any of her new Etta-like singing but by pure looks alone, she really nailed the part:

I gotta say that Beyoncé really does look amazing as Etta … stunning, actually. I really hope she is able to do the woman justice in her portrayal in Cadillac Records because I believe that Etta James is a music legend who should be honored for her contributions to soul and jazz music. I am really looking forward to seeing this film, I sincerely hope that Beyoncé does Ms. Etta right.
