Reports are running rampant that Hugh Hefner’s son, Marston Hefner was arrested on Sunday and is under investigation for claims of domestic violence against his girlfriend Claire Sinclair. Marston is just 21 was arrested without incident on Sunday night and later released on $20,000 bail. I’ve learned that Claire suffered minor injuries, and she appeared to raise the incident on Twitter. Hugh has had a strange reaction too… he thinks they can “patch it up.” Hmm..

The planned biopic film based on the life of adult film star Linda Lovelace is still in the works with actress Amanda Seyfried attached to the lead role. Today we learn that actor James Franco is in negotiations to play the cameo role of Hugh Hefner in the film. As I understand it, Franco‘s Hefner role will be a small one in Lovelace but having his name attached to the film is enough to generate a bit of buzz.

Now that all of the drama surrounding his split from ex-fiancée Crystal Harris has finally died down, Hugh Hefner went about carrying on with the rest of his life by hosting his annual Midsummer’s Night Dream party at the Playboy Mansion this weekend. Flanked by his new girlfriends Anna Sophia Berglund and Shera Bechard, Hef hosted a bevy of beauties and celebrities all decked out in their sleeping attire. Perhaps in an effort to get over the recent drama over his split from former fiancée Crystal Harris, Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner was in a playful mood yesterday and was talked into posing for a planking photo by his “number one girlfriend” Anna Sophia Berglund. Planking, as you may know, is the practice of posing for photos as you lay flat on your stomach, face down. Tho, to be honest, Hef‘s photo looks like he’s merely taking one of his regular naps as most 85 year old men are wont to do. Earlier this week, former Playboy Playmate and ex-fiancée Crystal Harris appeared on The Howard Stern Show and cattily cut down 85-year old Hugh Hefner‘s sexual prowess for the legion of Stern listeners to hear. According to Harris herself, sex with Hefner only lasted “2 minutes” and she divulged that she is/was not “turned on by Hef“. Hefner mildly repudiated Harris‘s comments but, apparently, not forcefully enough. This news is a bit confusing because just days after his wedding to Crystal Harris was officially canceled, he moved twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon into the Playboy Mansion to live with him. Then, just days after that, he announced on Twitter that Anna Sophia Berglund was his new “best girl” … so that would make Shera Bechard girlfriend No. 2 … or No. 4?

Early last week we learned that the planned wedding of 85-year old Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner and 24-year old Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris was called off after Harris decided she didn’t want to marry into Hef‘s Playboy lifestyle.
