In the wake of the death of Michael Jackson, a bunch of new merchandise has made its way to the marketplace … not the least of which is the toy market. Japanese toy maker Hot Toys was commissioned to create Michael Jackson action figures to be released to coincide with his This Is It Tour that was scheduled to begin on July 13. Despite MJ’s untimely death, the toys have been made available for sale and, IMHO, look pretty cool too:

These toys were designed to be collector’s items, some of which come with a pretty high price tag (¥24,000 each or about $255.00).
