All these months later, and after the birth of her twins, Mimi returned to the hallowed halls of HSN last night to sell more of her products. Mariah Carey Sells Her Wares On The Home Shopping Network

Back in September we learned that Mariah Carey had teamed up with the Home Shopping Network to create a line of products for her to sell to her loyal fans on HSN and at midnight last night (technically this morning), Mimi appeared live on air to peddle her wares. Here are a few screencaps and some deets from Mariah‘s appearance on HSN today:

Everybody loves a bargain especially at this time of year. And now the general public can adorn themselves with jewels just like pop queen Mariah Carey. The 40-year-old songstress and expectant mother appeared on the Home Shopping Network yesterday to promote her new line of costume jewellery and shoes, all of which is listed at affordable prices. During the live, late night TV slot, the chart-topping diva was surprised by husband Nick Cannon who called in while she was on air. The couple, who are expecting their first baby in the spring, told viewers the romantic story behind a $59.95 pink crystal ‘Ring Pop’ necklace that Mariah has designed for her collection. They then exchanged I love you’s and as well as their secret code ‘KKLB’, which a giggling Mariah left unexplained. Carey’s collection features items like pendants, crystal butterfly earrings, fur-trimmed suede boots, rhinestone sandals and chain-wrapped nylon boots. She tells ABC News Radio, ‘There’s gorgeous stuff. I’m not even kidding. I would definitely wear this stuff myself.’ Carey also insisted that she ‘really did design things myself and work closely with the team over at HSN…it wasn’t like, “Oh, just throw my name on things.’”

To be honest, I can believe that Mariah did some actual design work for this new line of products. Do I believe that she drew up detailed sketches for each piece? No. But I can see how she might’ve collaborated with artisans more talented in clothing and jewelry design to create these affordable pieces for her collection. This November, Mariah Carey will be birthing a new lifestyle collection which she will sell exclusively on the Home Shopping Network … a collection that will include footwear, jewelery and exclusive versions of Mimi‘s fragrances. Interested? Read on …

She might be busy dodging pregnancy rumors, but there’s one ‘baby’ in Mariah Carey‘s life that she’s more than happy to own up to. The diva has just announced the launch of a new lifestyle collection for shopping network HSN. Debuting on the channel on November 29, the collection will include footwear, jewelry and fragrance, WWD reports. And while all the details on the collaboration are still forthcoming, Mariah’s line will feature jewelry that ranges from $40 to $200, including pieces that incorporate her signature butterfly motif. Shoes will start at $70 and top out at $170. The final piece of the Mimi puzzle will be a limited-edition version of her Lucscious Pink fragrance.

Ker-ching! Mariah Carey is deffo going to be making mo’ money, mo’ money, mo’ money with this new HSN collection. If there is one thing you can count on, it’s that a celeb who peddles their wares on either HSN or QVC is bound to make oodles of cash. And even tho shopping on HSN isn’t really my thing, I am really looking forward to seeing Mimi on the Home Shopping Network. That’s a sight that I most definitely do NOT want to miss. P. Diddy Moonlights On The Home Shopping Network

It looks like Sean P. Diddy Combs‘s desire to make as much money as possible knows no bounds … after all, he seems to have no problem resorting to appearing on the Home Shopping Network to peddle his wares in order to make a quick buck. Here is a screencap of Diddy‘s appearance on HSN recently as he tired to sell consumers on his line of celebrity fragrances:

P Diddy stepped into the shoes of a home shopping channel presenter to shift bottles of his fragrances. The rapper, who has a $300million urban empire which includes a hip-hop record label, two restaurants, a clothing line and a marketing company, Blue Flame, sat on the sofa for two hours selling his new cologne. The 40-year-old was a natural on the Home Shopping Network in the US and came up with plenty of sales patter. Referring to the I Am King gift set with a free bag, he said: ‘I carry my computer in that bag. We made that exclusively for you guys. You can’t find it any place else.’ He added: ‘You don’t have to pay for this bag. This is my personal gift to you. You can tell your friends that I gave you that bag for Chirstmas and that’s the truth.’ And he went on to insist: ‘This is not a celebrity fragrance. This is a designer luxury fragrance. I went into the fragrance lab and designed this to a particular taste level. I have a very sensitive nose.’ As he pushed fragrance I Am King, he spoke to fans live on air and told Diana from New York: ‘I wish I could just jump through the screen and give you a hug girl.’ He proceeded to give the air a hug. He insisted the scent’s name did not refer to him and his lifestyle but was intended to represent the ‘king in all of us’. ‘If we as men act as kings, we will respect our women as queens,’ he added. ‘This is not about it smelling like me. This is about smelling clean, smelling sensual. It’s for the modern man.’

LMAOOOO! This is hilarious!! I guess it really is still all about the hustle for Mr. Combs. Trust me, I am not mad at the man … he seems to work really hard for all of his success … even if that hard work means he has to hang out on HSN to sell a few bottles of perfume.
