Yesterday we learned that Lindsay Lohan returned home to SoCal Saturday night from her trip to Cannes, France last week so that she can appear before the judge overseeing her DUI probation case in court later on this morning. Right now, we get to watch a short video interview with Lindsay wherein she tries to explain all of her recent behavior that has been leading up to today’s court appearance and touches on subjects like her alleged drug use, her alleged partying, her non-existent relationship with her father Michael Lohan and more. It would seem that Lindsay agreed to do this interview, filmed by Hollywood.tv, in order to try and shoot down all of the negative reports going around about her before she goes into court to plead her case to the judge. Here is the full video interview with Lindsay and a quick synopsis of what she discusses in the interview for those of you who cannot watch:

Lindsay reveals that she was in Cannes to do press for an upcoming film called Inferno — NOT to party with her friends as has been reported; she claims that she stopped in someone’s room to innocently take a picture with “a fan” and that she had “no idea” what was in the room, therefore she couldn’t know if there were drugs in the room; she reveals that she has been set up in the past and hopes she wasn’t set up by this photo this time; she denies taking drugs; she doesn’t understand why she might be sent to prison, explains that she missed “one class” due to an uncle’s death, suggests the only person who wants to see her in jail is her father; she explains she was stuck in Cannes due to a lost passport and reveals that other items were missing as well; she reveals that she has no connection with her father because he is a convicted felon; she clarifies that she was “not partying in Cannes” she was “there for work”; she claims that she has “always taken responsibility for her actions, always”; she doesn’t understand a need for rehab, maintains she has been in full compliance of the terms of her probation, calls her father “clearly insane”; she denies financial problems; she explains that she is very upset that she missed her brother’s college graduation yesterday because she had to prepare for court today

Whether or not this video will have any impact on her court hearing today (highly unlikely), it seems like she is really just trying to do damage control with the public, in the media by telling her side of the story. Earlier this week, we saw a few photos of Miley Cyrus and hottie underwear model Justin Gaston spending some time together in Pasadena, CA last weekend (the pair and the Cyrus family attended some sort of church service together) and yesterday we got denials that two are dating (we were told that Miley and Justin are “just friends”) … but Hollywood.tv stumbled upon Miley and Justin (Mustin? Jiley?) and some friends (I think her alterna-rocker half brother Trace was with them as well but it’s hard to tell) at the Universal Citywalk in LA together last night … you know, hangin’ out:

Surely “just friends” go to the Citywalk to hang out and stuff but … I’m having a hard time understanding why a 20-year old guy would want to be “just friends” with a 15-year old girl he’s not romantically interested in (and, EW!). I dunno … this video looks very double-datey to me … what do y’all think?

I understand that Miley‘s parents are totally cool with 20-year old Justin being “friends” (or whatever) with their 15-year old daughter (Billy Ray introduced them or something) … these are the same parents that OKed that infamous Vanity Fair photo in the first place and then bitched about it after the controversy got going … I’m just sayin’.
