Early last week we learned that popstar/actress Hilary Duff is pregnant with her first child with hubby Mike Comrie and today we get our first look at Hil D‘s burgeoning baby bump. Granted, she’s not really bumping out all the much just yet but her loose-fitting clothing seems to show that she is starting to protrude a bit. It’s the birth of a baby bump, y’all! Today we learn from Hilary herself that she is already having pregnancy cravings. Hil D. shared one of her cravings on her official Twitter profile … and damn, they look good. MMMMM.

A year ago yesterday popstar/actress Hilary Duff got herself hitched to hockey-playing stud Mike Comrie and in celebration of the couple’s one year wedding anniversary, Hil D. made a very special announcement on her official website. According to Hilary herself, she and hubby Mike are pregnant with their first child! As you may recall, back in January there was a rumor going around that Hilary was pregs back then … but it looks like that report was a bit premature. Earlier this month we learned that our dear Britney Spears would be taking a night off from her furious rehearsals for the upcoming Femme Fatale Tour (due to kick off in just a few weeks) to host an event called An Evening of Southern Style to benefit the St. Bernard Project which continues to help Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Britney looked ABSOLUTELY STUNNING at last night’s event and she was joined by her loverman Jason Trawick as well as a host of other celebs who showed up to offer their support. Congratulations are, reportedly, in order for happily-marrieds Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie because according to a new report out today, the couple are PREGS with their first child! Now, before you start passing around the cigars, I have to make clear that there is only one media outlet reporting the news (HMMMM) and that sole media outlet is Star magazine (Erm …) so I suggest y’all take this happy news with a grain of salt ;)

Back in May we learned that actress-turned-pop star Hilary Duff would be releasing her debut novel this Fall … and, at long last, the time is at hand. Hilary‘s book Elixir, which she co-authored with Elise Allen, is available in stores now and last night she made an in-person appearance at a Border’s in NYC to meet her fans and sign a few books. MTV got their hands on a review copy of Elixir and offer their thoughts on what the book has in store:

Co-authored by Elise Allen, “Elixir” is a supernatural tale about destiny and soulmates. Think of it as “The Time Traveler’s Wife” starring a much-more-grounded version of Serena van der Woodsen. Perhaps drawing from her own experience in the limelight, Hilary’s protagonist is 17-year-old Clea Raymond, a reluctant tabloid staple thanks to her parents’ high-profile careers (mom is a politician, dad is a renowned surgeon). From a young age, Clea’s dad nurtures her interest in photography, and by her teens, Clea is fielding dream photojournalism assignments under the pseudonym Alissa Grande (no one wants to hire a celebutante only interested in vanity projects, after all).

IMHO, Hil D‘s book is prolly just as good as Nicole Richie‘s new book Priceless and DEFFO better than the new book “written” by Mike The Situation Sorrentino. Whether or not this book sounds interesting to you, I’m sure it’ll be of some interest to Hilary‘s young fans … and anything that gets kids to read books is A-OK with me :D

A week ago today we got to see blushing bride Hilary Duff on the cover of last week’s issue of OK! magazine. Today, Hilary and new hubby Mike Comrie share photos from their very short Mexican honeymoon getaway again with OK! mag:

As you may recall, last week we saw photos from Hila-rie‘s wedding ceremony and then a few days later we got to see Hilary gettin’ her hair did here in SoCal. Now we get to see what she and Mike got up to while they honeymooned in between. On Monday we learned that popstar Hilary Duff married her hockey playing fiancee Mike Comrie in a lavish wedding ceremony here in SoCal over the weekend and on Wednesday we got our first look at Hilary‘s wedding photos on the cover of OK! magazine. Today we get to see photos of Hil D. in the flesh for the first time since her nuptials took place last Saturday. I understand Hila-rie made their way down to Mexico for a short honeymoon but are already back home in SoCal. First thing on Hilary‘s agenda? She got her hair did. Check out Hil‘s new strawberry blonde hair color:

Now, I didn’t really care for Hilary‘s up’do hair’do on her wedding day so I’m glad to see that her hair is down … and I really love this color. The hint of red really works for her. It’s kinda crazy to believe that Hilary is now MRS. Mike Comrie but yeah … she’s a married woman now. I also think it’s kinda crazy that the couple were only on their honeymoon for a few days (my guess is that Mike had to be back for hockey practice) … but, at least they have ever after to share together.

Surrounded by a canopy of flowers, Hilary tied the knot with Mike at sunset on Aug. 15, at a private 1920s estate in Santa Barbara, Calif. Hilary, 22, and Mike, 29, exchanged vows as the bride’s sister, maid of honor Haylie Duff, and 100 of the couple’s family members and closest friends watched. And only OK! was there for the former Lizzie McGuire and Gossip Girl star’s big day. “It feels wonderful [to be married],” Hilary exclusively tells OK!. “It hasn’t fully sunk in yet!”

There she is … the beautiful, blushing bride. I have to say, I’m so used to seeing Hilary as the very young Lizzie Maguire that she kinda looks like she is playing dress up in this Vera Wang wedding dress. Last Thursday we learned from In Touch Weekly magazine that popstar/actress Hilary Duff was planning to marry her hockey-playing fiancee Mike Comrie in Santa Barbara, CA on Saturday evening … it turns out that they were 100% correct as Hila-rie actually did marry in SB on Saturday night! It’s official, y’all … Hilary and Mike got hitched!

Mike Comrie and Hilary Duff are now officially husband and wife. The actress, 22, and Canadian hockey player, 29, were married Saturday during an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara, Calif. The couple exchanged vows at the Mediterranean Villa La Quinta around 8 p.m under an arch of flowers and in front of about 100 guests. “Mike held his arm around Hilary for most of the romantic, candlelit ceremony, and they both looked extremely happy,” says an eyewitness. The newlyweds spent their wedding night at the nearby historic San Ysidro Ranch … Comrie proposed during a Hawaiian getaway in February – a move that came as a pleasant surprise to both Duff and her family. “I’ve never met anyone who can say a bad word about him,” Duff gushed in March 2009. “He’s generous, caring and sunny. We just laugh our heads off.”

Yay!! This is fantastic news.
