Yesterday we learned that Jude Law’s babymama, Samantha Burke, worked out a deal to sell the first baby photos of their lovechild, Sophia Lee, to Hello! magazine when we saw a photo of Burke and baby arriving at the site of their photoshoot last week. Well, it turns out that Hello! magazine works FAST when it comes to publishing celebrity baby photos cuz the magazine has already been published and is ready to hit newsstands. Here is our FIRST LOOK at the baby borne of Jude Law and Samantha Burke’s love tryst which took place earlier this year:

Samantha Burke has shown off five-week-old Sophia Lee, her daughter by actor Jude Law, for the first time. The glowing 25-year-old brunette posed for a glossy photoshoot at her Florida home for Hello! magazine, with her baby, who was born weighing just 5lb 12oz after mother Samantha suffered a 25-hour labour. But despite DNA results proving the actor is the father of Burke’s child following a brief relationship, she revealed he has not yet visited his fourth child. Jude is currently wowing audiences on New York’s Broadway with his spellbinding performance in Hamlet. But it seems that his first glimpse of the child he has confirmed he is the father of will come at the same time as the rest of the world. Miss Burke, who reportedly earned £185,000 for the photoshoot, said: ‘She’s already got such a great personality. I think he’ll fall in love with her when he sees her.’ Describing Sophia, Samantha said she looks more like her famous father, and is already showing signs of sharing his mannerisms. ‘Her features are more like Jude’s. She has his chin and nose, and she does a little pout that I notice that he’s done before. I think her eyes are more like mine, though. ‘You can’t always tell when they’re so young but they don’t have that big, glassy look that his do – mine are a little smaller and more like hers.’ In a revealing interview, Miss Burke tells how she met Jude at a club in New York, and that the devoted father of three children – Rafferty, 13, Iris, nine, and Rudy, seven with ex-wife Sadie Frost – has not yet travelled to meet Sophia. ‘There are no plans for it to happen at the moment, but I know he’s busy.’ Asked if she had received any presents from Jude, who demanded a DNA test a few months ago, the former model admitted: ‘No nothing.’ She also revealed her hopes for her daughter’s relationship with the actor, who will soon be seen in Guy Ritchie’s film Sherlock Holmes. She said: ‘I hope for him to be just as good as he is to his three children by Sadie Frost. He’s a great father to his three kids. She’s his daughter and I believe he’ll come through. I mean once you see her face, how can you deny it?’ She also denied claims that she is a ‘gold-digger’, insisting: ‘It really hurt. I have never dated a guy for money. All my ex-boyfriends were just normal guys.’ A spokesman for Law acknowledged the pregnancy in a statement released in July after reports surfaced in the media that Burke was expecting. ‘Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year,’ the actor’s representative said. ‘Mr Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.’

There ain’t no denying that little Sophia Lee is a precious and beautiful baby. Whatever the circumstances of her conception, she is an adorable little miracle and should be treated as such. While I can’t say that I necessarily blame mama Burke for selling the photos to Hello! magazine, I do hope that she is smart with the money and socks it away for her daughter should papa Jude Law not step up and care for this child like he does for his other children. It’s really crappy for this innocent little girl that her famous father seems to want nothing to do with her … like it’s her fault :( In the end, I wish everyone involved the best of luck … this is not an ideal situation by any means. Sophia Lee is just the cutest little thing … may she live a long and happy life full of LOVE from her family. Late last month we learned that Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm a.k.a. Sporty Spice (and the last of the Spices to spawn) finally gave birth to her firstborn child … a girl she named Scarlet Starr. Today, we get our first look at the little darling as mother and child are featured on the cover of the new issue of Hello! magazine:

The most private of the Spice Girls, Melanie Chisolm has avoided the spotlight since the February 22 birth of Scarlet Starr – her first child with property developer partner Thomas Starr. Instead the 35-year-old mum has decided to introduce her “beautiful little girl” to the world exclusively in HELLO! magazine. This week’s issue, number 1063, contains two gorgeous portraits of mother and baby, who has a shock of brown hair just like her famous mum. There’s also the inside story on how Mel is coping, as told by her fellow Spice Girl mums, as well as their messages of love and support. “I’m extremely happy for Melanie and Thomas,” says Victoria Beckham. “They will be wonderful parents and I’m hoping to meet baby Scarlet when I’m in London in the next few weeks.”

From the Daily Mail: Mel C was the final Spice Girl to become a mother – and it appears that she saved the best for last. The new mother revealed baby Scarlet Starr – who has a shock of brown hair like her famous mother – in an intimate portrait of the newest Spice Mama and her newborn. Melanie has been enjoying some private time with her partner Thomas Starr, and Scarlet after giving birth to the 8lb 3oz baby at London’s Portland Hospital on February 22. And her former Spice Girl bandmates couldn’t wait to shower her with congratulations and messages of support as she proudly posed with Scarlet, the first child for Melanie and her property developer beau … While Geri Halliwell jokingly claims that her own daughter Bluebell became a pregnancy good luck charm. “I do always say Bluebell is like some sort of fertility doll. Five friends got pregnant after playing with her, and then Melanie gets pregnant after the tour!” She added: “I’m so happy for Melanie. She has all the great qualities to make an excellent mother. Awww … little Scarlet is so darling … and so much hair :) Mel C. looks so happy with her little girl, good for her! While I initially kinda thought that Sporty decided to jump on the baby bandwagon just so she could fit in with her Spice Girl cohorts, I guess I can kinda believe that she had her baby cuz, you know, she wanted to have a baby ;) I keed, I keed. Here they are, the most talked about set of twin babies on planet Earth right now, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt making their worldwide debut (reportedly to the tune of $14 million bucks) on the cover of People magazine:

They are just 3 weeks old, but twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline are about to take the world by storm. In an exclusive interview and photos, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie offer PEOPLE an intimate look at their growing family. “It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” Jolie tells PEOPLE of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, where the couple’s four older children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 – have been enjoying a summer of outdoor play (hide-and-seek is a favorite) on the château’s sprawling grounds. Adds Pitt: “[It's] still a cuckoo’s nest.” Fortunately, they already have some household helpers. “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them,” says Jolie. “It’s sweet – they are little mommies.”

The magazine will devote 19 pages of Brangelina family photos in this double-issue of the magazine which should be now available for purchase on newstands. I find it interesting that Shiloh Nouvel, the firstborn child of Brangelina, is also featured on the cover of the mag without any mention of any of the other adopted children. HMMM. In any event, the first photo is finally out and folks can now snap up issues of People magazine to get their fix of the Brangelina twins to their heart’s content.
