For the second time in 2 years
Taylor Swift Dons The Milk’stache

Last week we got to see Lauren LC Conrad rockin’ the milk’stache for her latest Got Milk? ad campaign and today we get to see Taylor Swift in her second Got Milk? promo ad. As you may recall, Taylor first donned the iconic milk’stache back in October of 2008 so this is her second ad in just under 2 years … I guess homegirl really loves wearing milk:

Swift Pick. On the road you need energy. That’s why I drink milk. It has B vitamins and protein I need to help get me going. So I’m always ready for the next city, the next crowd, the next encore. got milk?

I suppose you can’t get more wholesome than Taylor Swift promoting milk drinking … I mean, she has to be their perfect Got Milk? candidate. But, as I mentioned when I talked about LC‘s photo, the image of fake milk smeared on someone’s upper lip does not make me want to drink the stuff. If they really want to entice me to dive into a glass of milk, they need to show me plates of cookies and/or pie. But, I guess Taylor Swift has enough fans that here mere presence in the campaign (for the second time, no less) will inspire some young’ns to drink milk. In that regard, I guess it’s mission: accomplished. What do y’all think of this latest Got Milk? promo?

Milkin' it
Lauren ‘LC’ Conrad Dons The Milk’stache

Lauren LC Conrad, former star of MTV‘s The Hills and current author and fashion designer, is featured in the latest Got Milk? ad for the now pop culturally relevant promo campaign that promotes milk drinking. I believe that LC previously featured in a Got Milk? ad before but her ability to inspire folks to drink cow juice is so great, they decided to bring her back for another go ’round:

Meh. To be honest, this photo is kinda … meh. It’s cute and all and LC looks like, well, LC but … there’s nothing very interesting or novel about this particular photo. The most exciting thing is the flowery glass she is holding. I mean, I can only speak for myself but this photo does not make me want to drink milk. Does it work for you?

J. Hud's got milk
Jennifer Hudson Dons The Milk’stache

Academy Award-winning American Idol reject Jennifer Hudson has been chosen as the latest celeb to don the milk’stache for the latest promos for Got Milk? ad campaign. Here is one of J. Hud newly released milk’stache photos for the ad campaign:

The Taste of Fame — Center stage, silver screen, joyful new mom. How do I keep this show on the road? Milk. Its wholesome goodness helps make my family strong at every stage. Talk about a powerful performance. Got Milk?

I love me some J. Hud but this outfit? No. I dunno why she needs to wear one of Liberace‘s old bath robes … it’s not a good look on her. After the jump, check out Jennifer Hudson‘s other Got Milk? promo ad which, IMHO, looks a bit better than this one …

Got twins?
Rebecca Romijn Dons The Milk’stache

Rebecca Romijn has, once again, joined the ranks of other celebs who have donned the famed Got Milk? milk’stache to appear in a new promo ad for milk (she previously appeared in a Got Milk? ad back in the late 90′s). In her ad, Rebecca is holding her milk’stacheless twin daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip … behold:

Despite the angelic smiling faces of her one-year-old twin girls in their new “Got Milk?” ad, Rebecca Romijn reveals the photo shoot wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. “It was challenging,” she told PEOPLE last night at a launch event for the ad at the W Hotel in Los Angeles. “The last time I did this campaign in 1998, we shot it in Times Square, middle of a tropical storm, during rush hour, in July, without permits…I thought that was chaotic. Well, guess what? Shooting with nine-month old twins when one of them is not havin’ it all day long…” Pressed for details, the 37-year-old mom and wife of actor-turned-law-student Jerry O’ Connell says Dolly, pictured right, didn’t take to her modeling debut. “I think this is one of maybe three frames where she wasn’t screaming her head off and that was way more chaotic than the one that I did in 1998. I think Jerry was probably doing cartwheels behind the photographer trying to get them to calm down.” Sister Charlie, meanwhile, “was loving it — loving the lights, loving everyone standing around looking at her.”

When last we saw the Romijn-O’Connell twins, daddy Jerry was taking them out for a stroll last Summer. The little Misses really have gotten bigger since then. They are super cute in this photo. I find it a bit funny that the babies, who only drink milk at this young age, are not wearing milk’staches in this ad for milk. Despite that oddness, this latest Got Milk? ad is really cute, don’tchathink?

Calcium > Adamantium
Wolverine Dons The Milk’stache

Hugh Jackman, in character as the X-Men mutant Wolverine, is featured in the newest Got Milk? ad in order to promote both BodybyMilk.com and the new film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Lest you think that a mutant with adamantium claws might not need to worry himself with fortifying his bones with calcium, think again … besides, who doesn’t want to see the beefy Hugh Jackman rockin’ the milk’stache?

The ad copy reads: My power to regenerate might be top secret but my ability to re-energize is simple. Milk has protien to help build muscle and a unique mix of nutrients to help you refuel. So, eat right, train hard and drink lowfat milk. That’s just common mutant sense.

I ain’t gonna lie … Wolverine in the milk’stache looks a bit silly but I suspect that the campaign will inspire may young kids to try and emulate their comic book hero and will be drinking more milk as a result of this ad. I remember that when I was a kid, I was convinced that eating spinach out of the can just like Popeye did would help me grow super strong … just like Popeye. You can imagine my disappointment when I learned otherwise. My first hint that something was amiss was my inability to squeeze the can of spinach open so that I could swallow the contents whole. After a couple bites of the gross canned green stuff … I determined that Popeye had lied to me. I’m pretty sure that kids who will drink more milk because they want to be like Wolverine in this ad won’t endure the same disappointment (unless they think that drinking milk will give them adamantium claws) so I have nothing against this new Got Milk? ad. Drink up, y’all!

Does a body good
Chris Brown Debuts His Milk’stache

Chris Brown is the latest celebrity to don the famed milk’stache and appear in the newest ad for the Got Milk? campaign. Here is Chris‘s just released new ad that targets, very specifically, the teen market:

The copy reads: Another great collaboration? Milk. Some studies suggest that teens who drink milk tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. So eat right, exercise and drink lowfat or fat free milk. Talk about a smooth move.

Body by Milk has also set up a new website HERE with wallpapers, AIM icons and more for Chris Brown fans to download. Isn’t it interesting that Rihanna appeared in her own Got Milk? ad earlier this year? It’s too bad the Milk folks couldn’t get ChRihanna to appear in an ad together, no? Anyways … what do y’all think … do we like this particular ad photo?

Heidi Klum Has Got More ‘Milk’

Last month we got to see a new Got Milk? promo ad which featured Heidi Klum all dolled up as a milk maid (with pretty skanky shoes, IMHO) and today we get to see another Got Milk? ad featuring Ms. Klum. Heidi is featured in another Got Milk? promo ad which, I think, is a lot less comical and much more pretty:

The copy reads: “Model Mom. From the runway to my driveway, there’s one look that’s always in style. Studies suggest the nutrients in 3 glasses of lowfat or fat free milk a day can help you maintain a healthy weight. And the protein helps build muscle for a lean body. Which makes it a perfect fit for you and your family.”

Dang … homegirl must love her some milk to appear in two ads for the stuff within weeks of one another. I don’t recall other celebrities appearing in two ads at the same time but, hey, if the money’s right — the money’s right. Additionally, Heidi Klum is featured in a new TV ad for the video game Guitar Hero: World Tour where she dances around the living room a la Tom Cruise in Risky Business (you may be aware that a few sports celebs appear in a very similar ad for Guitar Hero: World Tour as well). Here is Heidi‘s fun Guitar Hero: World Tour commercial which you’ll prolly be seeing on your TV sets very soon:

BUT … it has to be noted that there is a Director’s Cut version of this TV commercial that, depending on where you live in the country, you may NOT be seeing on your TV sets. After the jump, check out that version of the commercial in full …

Heidi Klum: ‘Got Milk?’ Maid

Heidi Klum has become the latest celeb to don the milk’stache in ads for the Got Milk? campaign as she is featured as a Bavarian milk maid in their newest Halloween-themed ad. Here is our first look at Heidi‘s new Got Milk? ad:

The copy of the print ad reads: Haute Cowture Trick or treat? There’s no trick to it. The 9 essential nutrients in lowfat or fatfree milk make it the perfect after-treat treat for your whole family. So this Halloween, dress up your costume with a look that’s always in style. Wunderbar!

Aww, she makes a really cute milk maid I think. Heidi sat down to film a little behind-the-scenes video on the shoot for this ad campaign and talked a bit about why she decided to sign up for the campaign, why she likes milk for her family and more. The video is NOT to be missed because at the end of it, Heidi does some yodeling … some impressive yodeling, I might add. Click HERE to watch the video in full. As far as Got Milk? campaigns go, I think this is one of the cutest. What do y’all think? Is it the best one y’all have seen? If not, which ads do y’all like better?

All American Rejects Don The Milk ‘Stache

Those good ol’ boys from Stillwater, Oklahoma, All American Rejects, are the latest folks to join the Got Milk? campaign to promote the cow juice and to announce a new contest where AAR fans are encouraged to create original poster artwork to announce the release of their new album, which is due out this Fall. Here is the new Body By Milk campaign photo of All American Rejects and some info on their poster contest:

“Dairy Little Secret. Want a body that rocks? Listen up. Some studies suggest teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner, and the protein helps build muscle. It’s one drink we don’t reject.”

As they finish up their third album− the follow up to their two-time Platinum award-winning sophomore CD, “Move Along”− and embark on a nationwide tour, it’s no secret that The All-American Rejects need to stay in tip-top shape. Long hours in the recording studio and on stage call for a fit body and plenty of energy. That’s why the members of the multi-Platinum award-winning rock band include milk in their daily diets, which along with eating right and exercise, helps them stay healthy, lean and fit. Band members Tyson Ritter, Nick Wheeler, Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor are the latest celebrities to join the “Body By Milk” campaign, which encourages teens to drink three glasses of lowfat or fat free milk everyday, eat right and be active to stay lean and healthy. Other stars to recently sport the ‘stache include Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Hayden Panettiere and Steve Nash. The All-American Rejects are looking to Body By Milk fans to design a creative poster to announce the release of their latest album – due out in the fall. The winning design, selected by the Rejects themselves, will inspire a poster that will be displayed at concerts, music stores and schools all around the country. The winner, along with the five top designers also will receive a framed, signed poster of their artwork and a copy of AAR’s latest album. Fans just need to show The Rejects how they, too, rock out with milk – simply by adding some spice to their new Milk Mustache ad. Head to bodybymilk.com to download AAR’s new Milk Mustache ad; then, paint it, draw it, collage it … whatever showcases their love for milk and “AARt!”

OUCH! While the ad copy is a bit cheesy (borderline horrrrrrrrible), I’m glad that the Milk folks have teamed up with my boys from Oklahoma. AAR are such a fun band, it’s great that they continue to get more recognition as their career progresses. The contest sounds fun … I hope all y’all All American Rejects fans out there send in your great submissions.
