The season finale of Glee is just a few weeks away and it’s not a big secret that there will be a death on the show. A few weeks ago, news leaked that an upcoming ep of Glee will be titled Funeral so, yeah, the secret’s kind of out. The cast of Glee is featured on the cover of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine and in the coverstory interview, Glee creator Ryan Murphy talks a bit about the death to come on the show. Don’t worry, there are no spoilers in the article … but there are deets about what we can expect in the few remaining eps of this season.

Yesterday we saw photos and video of the female cast of Glee filming scenes for an upcoming episode in the middle of Times Square in NYC, NY and today we get to see new photos and video of the cast — both female and male — filming scenes in Central Park. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous in NYC this week, which means that these new NYC Glee scenes will look amazing on film. Check out the photos and some video below.

Yesterday we saw a few photos of Glee stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith filming scenes on the NYC set of their show and today we get to see MORE pics from the Glee set in Times Square. This time, Lea is joined by her castmates Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Ashley Fink and Jenna Ushkowitz as they filmed a musical number on the big red steps right in the middle of Times Square. The cast of Glee have packed up their bags and have made their way from their homebase here in SoCal to New York City where the show will be filming all week one of if not the last episode of the season. As you may know, you faithful Gleeks, the New Directions Glee Club tends to yearly make the attempt to compete at nationals … and they never quite make it. Considering that this year, the cast is actually filming in NYC (at Lincoln Center, no less) I’m guessing our beloved Glee club will fare better in the competition. Glee star Lea Michele posted a cute photo on her official Twitter profile yesterday announcing the return of a former Glee actor to the show.
