Gerard Butler paid tribute to Michael Jackson yesterday by dangling a fake baby out the window of his London hotel room. Aw, remember when M.J. did that with a real baby in Berlin? Memories… Anyway, Gerry’s fake baby is actually a plant wrapped in a towel, and he looks a little too pleased with himself. You can just tell he’s high-fiving himself in his head for coming up with such an epically funny stunt that’s actually pretty lame. And that is what we find amusing.

Yeah … I dunno if Gerard was going for funny or if he was just lookin’ for attention but it seems so odd that he would do this. I, personally, think the joke would’ve been funnier if it had been executed while MJ was still alive … cuz, let’s be honest, MJ’s decision to dangle his baby outside a hotel window was NOT one of the high points of his career. But now that MJ is gone, well, I don’t think the joke is funny anymore. That is not to say that I am offended by this little gag … it’s just … weird. What to y’all think … funny?

Here’s a look we like! Gerard Butler tells “Extra” he didn’t mind completely stripping down in the new thriller “Law Abiding Citizen”! “It’s always nice to show a bit of butt,” the handsome actor joked with “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli at the Hollywood premiere of the film on Tuesday. When Butler’s character is arrested in the flick, he welcomes the cops… with no clothes on. He adds, “I don’t think it was gratuitous. I think there is a good reason for my nakedness in this movie.” If you have been missing Gerard’s abs from “300,” don’t worry. They also make an appearance in “Law Abiding Citizen.” Gerard’s co-star Jamie Foxx praises Butler’s “butt-scene,” saying, “He has to do his whole thing for the ladies, which is great. But that’s when we men go to the concession stand.”

Oh yeah … this is exactly the sort of info I needed to know. I saw the trailer for the film a few times and thought it looked kinda good … I’m not a big Jamie Foxx fan but I love Gerard Butler. Now that we know that he will be strippin’ down in this flick, I know that my interest level has just gone up. In all honesty, Butler is a great actor who can play funny (P.S. I Love You), serious (300) and sexy. It just sounds like this time around he’ll be playing the seriously sexy role … and I can’t wait to see his law abiding buns in action ;)

As you can see, it is actor Gerard Butler doing the honors of taking Jen’s character into custody. In The Bounty, Butler plays a bounty hunter named Milo who finds out that his new mission is to apprehend his ex-wife Cassidy (played by Aniston) … well, you can imagine the hilarity that might ensue from such a comical circumstance. Production on the film will continue for some time, here’s hoping we get to see other photos of this pair engaged in various acts of law and disorder.

I can’t even express how excited I am to see this movie, which opens in theaters TODAY. I’m not usually a sucker for the obvious comedy movie (you know, the ones that try too hard like anything Will Ferrell puts out) but from the first time I saw this movie trailer in theaters, I knew I wanted to see this flick. Yes it looks like it’s chock full of dumb humor (like those obvious movies I tend to hate) but there seems to be a bit of charm to this one. I continue to laugh out loud every time I see the commercials for this film … it’s bound to be a good time. Because of our traveling today and our commitments tomorrow night, I hoping to see this movie on Sunday. If any of y’all see The Hangover before I do, please let me know what you think. I’m hoping the movie will be as funny as the trailers make it seem.

New couple alert? Shanna Moakler and Gerard Butler were photographed getting cozy at the Hollywood opening of Shin nightclub on Monday. Throughout the night, Butler also served guests drinks behind the bar. At one point, a patron told him, “Thanks,” and he said, “I have no idea what the fuck I’m doing.” Both did not talk to press.

But Travis Barker is talking, specifically about the fact that his ex-wife was not keeping vigil by his side while he recuperated from his injuries as has been widely reported:

Travis Barker may be in the hospital – but he’s got a bone to pick with his ex-wife. The Blink-182 drummer expressed his “deepest thanks” to fans via his MySpace page for their support during his recovery from a deadly plane crash in September. But the 32-year-old also took a brief time-out to jab at ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who reportedly has been by his side since the ordeal. “Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I’ve been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and an Georgia,” Barker wrote … Moakler was photographed in tears – and oddly wearing a ring on that special finger – outside Barker’s Augusta, Ga., hospital on Sept. 22 … Barker, who says he’s now able to move his fingers on his right hand, later deleted the diss from his MySpace Celebrity blog, but left the message up on his actual MySpace page.

You know, I’ve never been a big Shanna Moakler fan and this sorta seals the deal for me. There was never any expectation that Shanna should be faithfully by Travis’s side in the wake of his accident but I was impressed that she was there … at least, that was what we were led to believe. I recall seeing photos of Shanna flashing her ring and I thought, how nice that she is there and still seems devoted to him. Hearing from Travis himself that it was all a sham, most likely to make her look better, is pretty disgusting to me. Why in the world would she choose to exploit such a horrible tragedy just to make herself look good? Seeing these new photos of Shanna trying to mack on Gerard Butler really shows how her “devotion” to Travis seems to have waned … if it existed at all. I am very heartened to hear from Travis that he is doing better and is recovering well. I don’t think I need to hear anything from or about Shanna Moakler ever again.

The way I understand it, the movie involves a bunch of shady folk trying to get their hands on some money put up for grabs by a Russian mobster or some such nonsense. As usual, it sounds like a Ritchie original. I will say this for the man, he really knows how to create interesting characters in his movies. The movies themselves don’t always have the kind of cohesiveness that make them great but they are generally worth seeing … well, except for his movie Swept Away, which starred his wife Madonna. That movie should not be seen by anyone, under any circumstances. And speaking of Madge, I think it was quite sporting of her to take a break from her Sticky & Sweet World Tour to come out for the movie premiere last night. She is such a good wife. Makes you feel kinda silly if you believed any of those break-up rumors, right? RocknRolla opens in theaters in early October.

See, even a hunky slab of masculinity like Mr. Butler realizes that the man bag is an essential part of the modern man’s ensemble. Don’t you think the rough yet supple leather of his manbag offers the perfect accent to his overall manliness? The toothpick is nice touch as well. I feel I must salute Gerard Butler for helping to advance the state of manbagdom, showing dudes all around the world that yes, indeed, it is okay to rock the manbag!

Joss Whedon, Eliza Dushku & Tahmoh Penikett were there reppin’ the new FOX TV series Dollhouse, Michael C. Hall was reppin’ Dexter, Robert Rodriguez & Rose McGowan were reppin’ Red Sonja, Milo Ventimiglia was doing double duty promoting Heroes and his new comic book Rest and Guy Ritchie & Gerard Butler were representin’ their new movie RockNRolla. Oh yeah, it’s just far too much geekdom for one person to handle all at once … which is why I’m not a good candidate for the Comic Con (plus, I don’t look all that great in lycra). Obvs this post can’t do the entire weekend justice but I wanted to post a taste of some of the stuff that I found most interesting. I may end up attending one year … mebbe. Any Comic Can fans out there? Am I totally missing out?

Mario Lopez may be PEOPLE’s Hottest Bachelor – but the A Chorus Line star and fitness buff has a shocking admission: He was a chubby baby. “I looked like a sumo wrestler,” Lopez says in a new interview. “My mom had to pull the fat folds apart when she bathed me!” But that’s all in his past. As fans know, Lopez has mined his love of fitness to create his own book, Mario Lopez’s Knockout Fitness. The exercise guru, who is recently single, says that a full slate of projects has kept him off the dating market but that hasn’t stopped him from thinking about dating completely. “I like a girl who’s from a modest sort of upbringing, because it’s more relatable,” he says, explaining what he looks for in a potential girlfriend. “I’m a first-generation American. My parents [Elvia and Mario Sr.] emigrated from Mexico and live in the same house I grew up in Chula Vista, Calif. I’d feel weird if the girl was a little too uppity or affluent, because I’m a very down-home kind of guy.”

It’s interesting that Mario was chosen to top the list of People’s Hottest Bachelors because he *just* broke up with his girlfriend Karina Smirnoff (of Dancing with the Stars fame) just a few weeks ago (I wonder who the #2 guy was/is). In any event, the full list of bachelors who made the cut this year is revealed in the new issue of People magazine (which hits newsstands on Friday) but People.com has a gallery of some of the guys who made the cut. I totes understand why dudes like Adam Levine, Terrance Howard and Gerard Butler made the list but I’m surprised that Bryan Spears (Britney’s older brother) and Hunter Johansson (Scarlett’s twin brother) made the list. Neither one is a big name in Hollywood and, yet, they still are listed among the hottest bachelors in Hollywood. Something tells me that the People list was pretty thin so they had to beef it up with extraneous family guys (not that either Bryan or Hunter aren’t hawt enough, I just think they’re not famous enough). In any event, congrats (?) goes out to the lucky dudes who made the list … I suppose kudos are in order for being hawt and single.
