Last week we learned the news that footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been chosen as the new male spokesmodel for Armani Underwear, taking over the modeling reigns from fellow footballer David Beckham. Today we learn that Megan Fox has been tapped as the new female spokesmodel for the designer undies … taking over for Victoria Beckham:

American actress Megan Fox will strip down to her underwear for Giorgio Armani’s Emporio Armani fashion brand, the Italian design house said on Wednesday. Fox, who starred in the “Transformers” films, follows in the footsteps of “Posh Spice” Victoria Beckham who along with her soccer-playing husband David heads the Emporio Armani autumn/winter underwear campaign. The actress will also be the new official worldwide face for Armani Jeans for next year. Armani said in a statement the soon-to-be unveiled adverts were shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott at the weekend in Lost Angeles. The duo also took the Beckhams’ underwear ad pictures. Last week, the Milan-based fashion house said Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo would replace David Beckham as the new sports model for Emporio Armani’s men’s underwear.

Shortly after it was announced that Ronaldo would be taking over for Becks, Vicki B. announced that she would not be renewing her Armanimodeling contract either … so it was just a matter of time before the announcement was made as to who would be replacing her. Considering how Megan Fox has saturated the media with her presence in the past couple of years, Armani’s decision to choose her as their new spokesmodel makes sense. It remains to be seen if Megan and Cristiano will appear in ads together like Becks and Posh did during their reign but, if Armani is smart, they will feature their new models together as well as individually. I still think that Armani should’ve done everything in their power to keep Becks on board but … I guess now that it’s a done deal, I’m curious to see what the new ads will look like. Victoria Beckham payed a little visit to the Warner Bros. Studios lot in Burbank, CA this week, where The Ellen DeGeneres Show is taped, and was greeted by a huge promo photo of the latest Emporio Armani Underwear ad featuring her husband David Beckham and … Ellen DeGeneres???

Truth be told … of all the Armani Underwear ads where Becks has to share the spotlight, I think this is my fave. I mean … right?

Back in May, Victoria Beckham launched her latest batch of solo ad campaign photos for Emporio Armani Women’s Underwear before she teamed up with her hubby David Beckham for a couple of new joint ad campaign photos in July (you can revisit the behind the scenes video from the Armani photoshoot HERE). Today we get to see the latest Armani ad featuring VB all by her lonesome … this time, she’s wearing her undies while climbing a horizontal ladder … which will SURELY inspire folks to rush out and buy bras and panties:

Victoria Beckham has featured in yet another campaign for fashion label Armani. Reprising her wacky role as a geisha-style lingerie model, Victoria posed provocatively in a metallic bikini and high heels. Having worked her way up to Hollywood royalty from the humble beginnings of Hertfordshire, Victoria is no doubt used to climbing ladders. Notably absent from the shot though is husband David, who regularly features in the campaign with Victoria … This new shot is just the latest in the couple’s multi-million pound advertising deal with the Italian fashion house. Last year, David signed a £20million deal to become the firm’s new global ambassador, while his wife later clinched her own £12million deal to represent Armani underwear.

I ain’t gonna lie … the Armani Underwear ads just don’t do it for me without Becks and his bulge in the mix somewhere but I guess VB’s gotta make her own money somehow. Perhaps this new solo photo of Posh is a signal that mebbe a new solo photo of Becks is on the way? Here’s hoping. Fingers and toes, y’all … fingers and toes.

Wee!!! It’s a happy day whenever new Emporio Armani Underwear ads featuring David Beckham are released to the masses … and today is one of those days. Just about 3 weeks ago, David Beckham released his latest batch of campaign ad photos for Emporio Armani Underwear and today we get to see Becks in two new photos. Unfortch wifey Victoria Beckham, who features in her own set of campaign ad photos for Emporio Armani Women’s Underwear, is also included in these new promo photos but I think that Becks’s intense hawtness more than makes up for her inclusion … behold:

These photos were shot by famed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Milan, Italy earlier this year. As some of you may recall, this isn’t the first time Les Beckhams have teamed up to promote Armani Underwear. The couple featured in their first Armani Underwear ad together back in January of this year. I really like these photos … but my preference has to be the first photo … I’m thinking the appeal comes from all the leg spreading that is going on. Oh yeah … whatever Becks is sellin’ in these new campaign ads … I’m buyin’! ;)

Earlier this year we got our first look at Victoria Beckham in the new worldwide ad campaign for Emporio Armani Women’s Underwear (including an ad that also features an underwear-clad David Beckham) and today we get to check out the latest ad from the campaign. Vicki B., who attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala on Monday night, made an appearance at the Macy’s department store in NYC to unveil the newest Armani Underwear campaign image:

It was only last March that Armani released the last ad featuring Vicki B. and they’re already releasing the next one. Since January, Armani has released 4 Armani Underwear ads featuring Vicki B. and 3 new campaign ads featuring David Beckham. It’s clear that the company is being aggressive with the release of these ads considering how well they are being received all around the world. I’m not sure that I particularly care for this newest ad (I’m not really a fan of the ponytail) but if Armani is still releasing ads featuring VB then mebbe they have a few more ads featuring Becks scheduled for release in the near future (here’s hoping). As you may recall, Victoria Beckham is featured in the new ad campaign for Emporio Armani Women’s Underwear for Spring/Summer ‘09 and even managed to get her hawt hubby David Beckham to appear in an ad with her (as an added treat, we also got to see a new batch of photos of Becks modeling the new season of Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear, too). Today we get to see a new promo ad for the campaign that features VB bending over backwards to sell the fashionable undies … behold:

She has complained in the past of ‘looking really awful naked’, yet it seems Victoria Beckham can’t resist peeling off when it comes to Armani photo shoots. Reclining backwards onto a bed wearing nothing but skimpy underwear, black stilettos and her trademark pout, this is the ex-Spice Girl’s latest lingerie ad for the fashion giant. In these new pictures, the mother-of-three shows off a considerably more curvy figure than she is usually known for. Her provocative pose, assisted by some clever lighting, shows her toned legs and stomach and rounded bottom as she stretches backwards. The flattering shadows in the photo reveal a body most women would envy. It’s not the first time Posh has peeled off her clothes for Armani – in the past she has joined her semi-naked husband David to advertise the lingerie. It is thought to be part of a lucrative deal worth an estimated £32 million in total. The couple, who are parents to Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, six, and Cruz, three, are promoting underwear from the spring/summer collection for the Italian label. The image is part of a series of shots, largely featuring a solo Victoria, taken by celebrated fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

I actually quite like this photo … and yes, she does look really toned. She also looks really hungry but, after all these years, I’m pretty sure that is the look she is going for. While I much prefer seeing photos of David Beckham in his undies, I suppose this new photo of VB in her skivvies is a nice harbinger of things to come. Perhaps we’ll be getting more photos of Becks in the Armani undies in the near future? I wouldn’t mind seeing him in pose like this … would you?

Today we get our first look at the newest Armani Underwear ad that features both Becks and Vicki B. in their undies … behold:

First they conquered England and America, now the Beckhams have made it big in Italy thanks to the unveiling of a giant billboard in central Milan today. David and Victoria have peeled off for yet another Armani advertisement, which for the first time features the couple together in a intimate bedroom scene. The latest smouldering image, in which the football star is seen lying across a bed in just his briefs while Posh sits beside him in lacy lingerie, is part of a lucrative deal which worth an estimated £32 million in total. The couple, who are parents to Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3, are promoting underwear from the spring/summer collection for the Italian label. The image is part of a series of shots, largely featuring a solo Victoria, taken by celebrated fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Similar advertisements are expected to be rolled out across New York, LA, London, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.

Dang … this is brills. To be honest, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, I hadn’t anticipated that the couple might appear together in a single Armani Underwear ad. I thought for sure that VB would be featured in a full campaign on her own and that Becks *might* appear in another full campaign … but it never occurred to me that they’d team up together. The ad itself is kinda OK … I’d prefer if Becks were laying on his back but I don’t mind the booty shot. Poor Vicki B. looks like she got kicked out of bed ;) I hope this isn’t the last that we’ll see of Becks in his undies … even if VB has to be included, I’ll take what I can get.
