Earlier this year, actors Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone spent quite a bit of time filming the reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man together here in SoCal and in NYC. Today, according to US Weekly magazine, we are hearing a new rumor that the couple have started dating. As far as I know, no other media outlet is reporting the hook-up but … it’s a reasonable enough report. Click below to hear what US Weekly has to say about this reported new romance.

Last week we got our first look at actor Rhys Ifans on the NYC set of The Amazing Spider-Man and, as you may recall, he was completely covered from head to toe in order to cover his costume/make-up as the villainous Lizard. But you may also recall that the eye holes of Ifans‘s mask gave us a wee peek at some of his Lizard make-up (see the photos HERE). Today we get to see Rhys Ifans unmasked on the set of Spider-Man and it is now plainly clear that he will play Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard in the film. We also get our first look at Martin Sheen in costume as Peter Parker‘s Uncle Ben. Check out the photos below.

Yesterday we saw the first photos of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone on the NYC set of The Amazing Spider-Man and today we not only get to see more photos of Andrew and Emma on set but we also get our first look at actor Rhys Ifans in costume as the villain The Lizard. Now, Ifans is mostly covered up so as not to spoil his Lizard look but it’s clear from the make-up around his eyes that he is hiding his full Lizard costume underneath his coverings. When last we saw photos from the set of the upcoming reboot film franchise The Amazing Spider-Man, the action was being filmed on the streets of downtown Los Angeles. In an effort to give the film a more realistic look (considering Spider-Man lives in NYC, NY) the filming production of the movie has made its way to Manhattan. And so it begins … the first serious awards show of the new Awards Season took place last night as The BFCA Critics’ Choice Movie Awards were handed out at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA. Considered a good determiner of how the Academy Awards may turn out, the Critics’ Choice Awards tend to award the big prizes to the actors and films that will go on to win Oscars later on. The Social Network was the big winner of the night including Best Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Score and more!

While the troubled Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark tries to get back on track in the wake of all of the calamities that have befallen the production, things are moving ahead nicely on the set of the new Spider-Man reboot film. As you may recall, in early December we got our first look at the first photos from the set of the new Spider-Man film when we saw photos of Emma Stone in character as Gwen Stacy. Today we get our first look at lead actor Andrew Garfield (of The Social Network) in character as Peter Parker.

On Monday we got our first look at Emma Stone rockin’ her new blonde locks for her role as Gwen Stacy in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot film. Today we see that Emma has already begun filming production on the movie … bringing her version of Gwen Stacy to life:

Apparently Emma was filming a funeral scene (for who?) and Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield was nowhere to be seen (rats!) but now that the film has begun principal filming production we’re bound to see more from the set of the as-yet-untitled Spider-Man reboot soon. I really hated the blonde hair on Emma in the photos we saw on Monday … but either I’m getting used to the look or she actually looks better this time. What do y’all think … does Emma Stone look like Gwen Stacy to you?

In October we learned that actress Emma Stone has been cast to star as original Peter Parker girlfriend Gwen Stacy in the big screen reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise and today we get our first look at Emma rockin’ her newly bleached blonde locks which she showed off this weekend on the red carpet here in LA. Filming production is prolly right around the corner, so Emma had to color her lovely red hair blonde:

Emma Stone ALWAYS looks lovely, no question. But, I greatly prefer to see her with her red hair … and I STILL think that the powers that be missed a great opportunity to get Emma to play the red-headed Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. BUT, the casting has already been decided … Emma is blonde … what do y’all think?
