Confesses that she still finds Taylor Lautner "hot"
Taylor Swift Does ‘Elle’ Magazine

Taylor Swift, in all her curly hair glory, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Elle magazine … BUT, for the accompanying photospread, Taylor let the fabulous Elle stylists flatten out her hair for a really chic look. In addition to showing off her stylish new look, Taylor also opens up to the mag about what she really thinks about her ex-paramour Taylor Lautner:

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner are no longer an item – but the country music sensation still thinks her Valentine’s Day costar is something special. In Elle magazine’s April issue, Swift is asked who she thinks is hot, and she’s shy about her answer: “Um, well …Taylor Lautner.” The two Taylors casually dated last year before calling it quits in late December. No word, however, on whether Swift will use their time together as fodder for future songs, though she admits her love life often fuels her writing. “A letdown is worth a few songs,” she says. “A heartbreak is worth a few albums.” Swift, 20, also shares the difficulties that come with her celebrity status. “I’ve had countless opportunities to do some really bad things,” she says. “And then people start combing through everything I do trying to find the next mistake and misperception, which leads to more scrutiny.” The Nashville darling also admits the constant media spotlight creates extra challenges that she has no control over. “Like, if I go to a bar, even if I’m not drinking, who’s to say that a source isn’t going to say that I was doing something I shouldn’t have been doing?” she continues. “So it’s not only about your own moral compass, but the moral compasses of other people that you don’t know.”

Ahhh … you stay a good girl, Taylor Swift … you can do it. Ok … so let’s get to those photos, shall we? After the jump, check out an alternate Elle magazine coverphoto and see some photos from her fabulous photospread …

"I'm a more heightened me if anything. Hyper J.Lo."
Jennifer Lopez Does ‘Elle’ Magazine, Again

Jennifer Lopez is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Elle magazine where she explains to Elle‘s faithful readers that she is just too much J. Lo for you. As you may recall, earlier this week she was quoted in Latina magazine as being *shocked* that she was not honored with an Academy Award for her work in El Cantante and now in Elle she explains how much of a hyperbeing she is now that she’s a wife and a mother (which is a warning to all those 20-year old actresses lining up to take her place). Yes, I don’t think J. Lo wants for any self-esteem. Here are a few excerpts from her Elle coverstory interview:

On why she never considered in vitro fertilization, like her character in The Back-Up Plan:
“When it comes to family and relationships, I’m quite traditional. Just because of the way I was raised. And I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don’t mess with things like that. And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it’s not, it’s not going to.”

On the merit of her romantic comedies:
“I think Maid in Manhattan and Monster-in-Law are very layered movies. And that’s why they’re so successful. People don’t like shitty romantic comedies. Nothing that’s shitty is going to make $100 million.”

On hosting a dinner for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor:
“She didn’t realize what she was going to symbolize. And it’s always scary to be thrown into it–that’s what I felt like when I did Selena. You’re thrown out there, and all of a sudden you’re not anonymous. You are now known. And that’s a lot to handle. It’s scary at first. Then you get used to it. And so she was in that moment of her life where it’s just like, What the hell? Everybody’s clapping for me. People are writing about me, talking about me, I’m on TV. She was just a judge in New York.”

On betrayal:
“This is something I haven’t been through once in my life. This is something I’ve been through a few times in my life. Where you really have your eggs in one basket and that breach happens and you know you should go but you’re still in love and you just don’t know what to do. It hits you because it’s not like you’re a cheater, and a liar, and I hate you, and you’re no good, and I’m leaving. It’s not that. It’s like, I’m tormented. Even though you’ve done this and I know it, I still don’t know what to do. I know I should go, but I don’t want to. And that’s why it’s such a fucked-up thing.”

On competing with twenty-something pop idols as a 40-year-old mom:
“This is what I do—what, because I have kids and a husband now I’m not supposed to be
me? I’m a more heightened me if anything. Hyper J.Lo. Everything I wanted before, I want twice as much now. And that doesn’t mean material things; it means to explore more, to think more. Being an artist doesn’t start because you’re 21, and it doesn’t end because you’re 51. You are who you are until the day you die.”

Oh J. Lo, I still love you. In this biz, you’ve got to have confidence (or, at the very least, you have to feign confidence) and she clearly has her fair share. While I, honestly, find her comments about the Academy Award she was robbed of humorous, I can’t really fault her for exuding all the confidence in the world. After all, she does have a new crop of 20-somethings nipping at her heels … if she falters, it’s all over. But anyways, after the jump check out a photo from J. Lo‘s Elle photospread which shows those 20-something actresses what they have to contend with …

Britney Spears Receives A New BMW For Her Birthday

As you may recall, Britney Spears celebrated her 28th birthday this past Wednesday (December 2) and we know that she spent her day with her agent/beau Jason Trawick but what we didn’t know was that among her birthday gifts this year was a brand new BMW car! I’ve already done lost track of all of her motor vehicles but this latest whip has to be about her 10th car, seriously:

A new white BMW convertible with a ribbon on it and balloons inside was sent to the singer’s Calabasas home, where she threw a birthday party on Wednesday, December 2. Turning 28 years old on Wednesday, December 2, Britney Spears got a special present delivered to her Calabasas home, which was a new white BMW convertible with a ribbon on it and balloons inside. No word though on who sent her the gift. Throwing a private party, the birthday girl was joined by her boyfriend Jason Trawick, her father Jamie Spears, and her young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, whom she has with then-husband Kevin Federline. Her mother Lynne Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears were nowhere to be seen though. Over all, there were around 20 people who helped Britney celebrating her big day, including some close friends and dancers. Britney, as reported by E! News, “was in good spirits,” and “dressed sexily, in a blue velvet blazer, shorts and fishnet stockings.” She was later on presented with a birthday cake. “It was really mellow,” says a source.

Now that sounds like a damn fine birthday party, huh? I suspect we’ll be seeing photos of Britney tooling around SoCal in her new toy very soon. We know how much she loves to drive ;)

Additionally, you may also know that Britney is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Elle magazine and today we get to see one more photo from her spread — after the jump …

More Photos Of Britney Spears In ‘Elle’ Magazine

Yesterday we got our first look at Britney Spears on the cover of the new issue of Elle magazine (after we got a sneak preview of the mag’s photospread on Tuesday) and today we get to see a few photos from the spread along with the alt cover of the mag that subscribers will be receiving in their mailboxes when the mag arrives:

A decade after her titillating debut in pigtails and a plaid Catholic school skirt, we find ourselves cheering on Britney Spears once again. There have been, of course, speed bumps in recent years—a divorce, feuds with family, a very public breakdown—but the past 12 months have witnessed a cautious yet emphatic comeback. With Circus, her triumphant 2008 album and subsequent world tour, Britney reasserted herself as a pop music ringleader, firmly in control of the spectacle. The album is the star’s fifth to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—making her the youngest woman to accomplish that feat. And the nearly yearlong tour, with its elaborate $50 million extravaganza featuring DSquared2 costumes (nine outfit changes a night, including Britney as a trapeze artist, a magician’s assistant, and, somewhat perplexingly, a policewoman), was among the highestgrossing concert tours in the United States last year, rivaling those of U2 and Bruce Springsteen. With another greatest-hits record freshly arrived (and a new single, “3,” which raced up the Billboard chart), we see flashes of vintage Brit, the one we love—blond, happy, and back on top. This is no small turnabout. Rare is the artist who can pirouette from teen idolhood to a discerning adult audience; not even Madonna, Britney’s idol, had to do that. But Britney was a teen pop princess who knew how to build an image (the virginal temptress) and sell it through videos (her 1999 breakout “…Baby One More Time”) that nimbly walked the line between sweetness and provocation. Now, at 28, her sound is grittier (as in the throbby 2008 hit “Womanizer”) and her lyrics reveal a confident sexuality. Britney may have sung “I’m not that innocent” on her 2000 single “Oops!…I Did It Again,” but today, there’s no argument, with frank lyrics such as those on “3”: “Merrier the more/ Triple fun that way/ Twister on the floor.” The new track represents Spears’ rekindled partnership with the reclusive Swedish producer Max Martin (Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”; Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone”), who wrote “…Baby One More Time” but hadn’t worked with the singer in more than seven years.

It turns out that Britney didn’t give Elle a proper interview but the new issue will have a coverstory article that will chronicle Britney‘s great 2009. The mag will also include a bunch of amazing photos that were shot before Britney embarked on her first ever Aussie tour earlier this month. After the jump, check out a few of those photos …

I can’t wait to see the rest of the pics … I also can’t wait to read the coverstory interview. For now, let’s just continue to send our Birthday Lurve to our dear Britney!! 'Entertainment Tonight' previews her upcoming photospread
First Look: Britney Spears For ‘Elle’ Magazine

Last month there were rumors of a secret photoshoot for Elle magazine featuring living legend (you can look but don’t touch) Britney Spears and last night Entertainment Tonight gave us our first look at the photos from that shoot. Here are a couple of screencaps that show our dear Britney wearing a beautiful white wedding dress as she posed with her young sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, by the pool:

As you can see, Brit‘s boys are wearing cute little tuxedos for this shoot to compliment their mama’s white dress. I understand that other photos will feature Britney in a gilded birdcage or something like that? Whatever the case may be, it’s been a while since we’ve seen Britney in a magazine photospread so I’m very much looking forward to seeing the photos from this spread. Beautiful!!

SJP really, really loves Kim Cattrall ... and she wants YOU to know it
More Pics Of Sarah Jessica Parker In ‘Elle’ Magazine

Yesterday we got our first look at Sarah Jessica Parker on the cover of the new issue of Elle magazine and today we get to see a couple photos from the accompanying photospread. We also learned yesterday of SJP‘s love of the smell of diapers … today we learn that she also loves Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall even more! She swears it, really!

On rumors of friction with Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall:
“I don’t think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim. I adore her. I wouldn’t have done the movie without her. Didn’t and wouldn’t.”

Hee hee, okay, okay … we get it … you love Kim Cattrall … and the smell of diapers, got it! The full interview with SJP can be read in the new issue of Elle magazine which hits newsstands this week. I’m curious to find out what other things SJP loves. I’m also curious to see more photos from the spread, she looks pretty hawt in these pics.

“I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet"
Sarah Jessica Parker Does ‘Elle’ Magazine

Sarah Jessica Parker, Sex and the City star and new mom of twin girls born of a surrogate mother, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Elle magazine wherein she talks a bit about her new additions to the family … here is her Elle coverphoto and some really cute excerpts from her coverstory interview:

Sarah Jessica Parker may have a number of best-selling fragrances, but the “Sex and The City” star says in the December issue of ELLE that it’s a less flowery smell that she loves. “I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm like a baked good,” she said. Parker is on double diaper duty these days thanks to the arrival of twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha, who were delivered by a surrogate earlier this year — but the star said that son James Wilkie got involved with the process, too. “He told me he really wanted Marion to be in the mix,” Parker said of baby names for Loretta — who is indeed Marion on her birth certificate. “We thought, ‘Are we crazy? Do we let our son name one of the girls? Is that the right thing to do? Is it important for him?’ And then he goes, and I want it legal.” While the world loves her as Carrie Bradshaw, Parker said she hopes her daughters feel the same way once they grow up. “First of all, I have a fear that they’re not going to like me,” she said. She can always bribe them with her considerable wardrobe, however. “The only tragedy would be if their feet are bigger than mine,” Parker said. In the meantime, she’s filming the much-anticipated “Sex” sequel and awaiting the Dec. 11-release of the romantic comedy “Did You Hear About The Morgans?” — in which she meets her character’s neurotic match in co-star Hugh Grant.

What a cute interview … I can’t wait to read more! I cannot believe that SJP and hubby Matthew Broderick let their child name one of his sisters … so crazy … and yet, so cute. This little tease for SJP‘s Elle coverstory is a great taste of what’s to come. Not only am I anxious to see photos from her photospread but I deffo want to read more from this interview. I’m hoping she’ll keep the Sex and the City 2 spoilers to a minimum … but I ain’t gonna lie, I want to hear it all :)

"I try to live in the moment [like] it says in the Bible"
Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Do ‘Elle’ Magazine

Mr. & Mrs. Cannon are featured in the new issue of Elle magazine but in all honesty, Mariah Carey is the focus of the piece. Mimi talks to Elle about her new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel and touches briefly on her marriage with Nick (who is only included in the Elle photoshoot incidentally). Here are pics of the happy couple frolicking together in their beachy photospread and Mariah‘s interview with Elle:

Mariah Carey has sold more than 160 million albums worldwide, and, if radio play for the first single on her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, is any indication, she’s on the verge of racking up more No. 1 hits than the Beatles. But underneath the pop varnish, Carey’s just a smitten newlywed in the middle of a home renovation, juggling a job and a new puppy. Sort of…

Congratulations on the album! Can you describe the new sound?
Each song is its own snapshot of a moment in a story. But overall, the vibe is R&B hip-hop with a lot of slow jams.

What kind of mood were you in when you wrote the album?
Each song has its own mood; some flow seamlessly into each other, and that was the purpose, and others are very different. The album has a sense of humor‹you can hear me laughing out loud at certain points‹but it also has deep and introspective moments.

Is there a track that holds special meaning for you?
Since I write almost all my songs, they all do. But a song like “The Impossible” is very much where my life is right now because I am actually in love for the first time.

Congratulations on celebrating your one-year wedding anniversary with Nick Cannon. How’s married life?
Amazing, better every day.

How do you two spend your free time?
We travel a lot. I think we’ve been to over 35 cities already.

Did Nick weigh in on the album?
We tend to do our own thing, but I did like sharing the process of this album with him, as we have the same taste in music and he’s a great DJ and loves music.

LMAOOOOOOO!! Mariah *has* to be in love for her to go on the public record to call her young pup of a hubby “a great DJ”. LOL!! After the jump, read the rest of Mimi‘s Elle interview and find out what she has to say about her new life as the happily married Mrs. Cannon

“I find it odd that people will go to a nice restaurant ... in jeans & T-shirts."
More Photos Of Victoria Beckham In ‘Elle’ Magazine

Last week we got our first look at Victoria Beckham on the cover of the new issue of Elle magazine … and today we get to see a few photos from her Elle photospread PLUS we get to read a few more quotes from her Elle coverstory interview:

On being separated from husband David Beckham for six months while he was playing soccer in Milan:
“I felt like someone had chopped my arm off, to be completely honest. Everything we do, we do together. I very rarely go out on my own, unless it’s a work commitment.”

On keeping herself busy with TV while David was away:
“I’ve done Nip/Tuck, Brothers & Sisters, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice. Then I got into Gossip Girl. I’m beyond obsessed with that show.”

On the Los Angeles style of dress:
“I find it odd that people will go to a nice restaurant or to theater in jeans and T-shirts. You know, it’s great, David loves it. But it’s very different to my personal style.”

On her ever changing personal style:
“There are celebrities who always look great, always look pretty, but it’s always the same hair, the same makeup, and I find that quite boring. I want to change it up, do something really creative. I think that might be why women like me.”

On whether her look has changed since moving from England to Beverly Hills:
“I haven’t changed the way that I dress at all, which is probably why people stare a lot.”

On her rumored recent breast augmentation to a smaller size:
“We should just not talk about each other’s boobs.”

On her private family life:
“David and I have a working relationship together, and we also have a private life together. Someone used the example recently of Brad and Angelina. They might be in a movie together, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to let someone film them at home. I don’t do ‘at homes’ with my family. I don’t march my kids down red carpets. It’s just not how we choose to do things.”

On the prices of her own dresses:
“Would I think twice about buying a dress that costs $2,000? Yeah! Of course I would. I’d try it on and go home and think about it before I bought it.”

On raising her children:
“[They] bloody well will work. Same as myself, same as David. They’re not going to be the kind of kids that just hang about. I want them to be able to fulfill their passions, but I think it’s important that the children grow up and have respect for themselves.”

Far and away my favorite quote from her entire interview has to be, “We should just not talk about each other’s boobs.” LOLOLOLOL!!! She may look like a cold, unfeeling robotic animatron from planet Plastic but methinks her creators fashioned her with a pretty capable funny bone. The photos are meh. but the quotes are pretty priceless … don’t you think?
