Sarah Jessica Parker may have a number of best-selling fragrances, but the “Sex and The City” star says in the December issue of ELLE that it’s a less flowery smell that she loves. “I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm like a baked good,” she said. Parker is on double diaper duty these days thanks to the arrival of twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha, who were delivered by a surrogate earlier this year — but the star said that son James Wilkie got involved with the process, too. “He told me he really wanted Marion to be in the mix,” Parker said of baby names for Loretta — who is indeed Marion on her birth certificate. “We thought, ‘Are we crazy? Do we let our son name one of the girls? Is that the right thing to do? Is it important for him?’ And then he goes, and I want it legal.” While the world loves her as Carrie Bradshaw, Parker said she hopes her daughters feel the same way once they grow up. “First of all, I have a fear that they’re not going to like me,” she said. She can always bribe them with her considerable wardrobe, however. “The only tragedy would be if their feet are bigger than mine,” Parker said. In the meantime, she’s filming the much-anticipated “Sex” sequel and awaiting the Dec. 11-release of the romantic comedy “Did You Hear About The Morgans?” — in which she meets her character’s neurotic match in co-star Hugh Grant.

What a cute interview … I can’t wait to read more! I cannot believe that SJP and hubby Matthew Broderick let their child name one of his sisters … so crazy … and yet, so cute. You just bought a house in L.A. What’s it like?
It’s a Georgian manor. We basically redid the entire thing, from the floors to landscaping to the closets, which are inspired by my New York apartment, with a men’s and women’s department store-esque feeling! Of course, I have the salon and Nick has a basketball court, which is his favorite place in the house. And I love having the outdoor space so the dogs can play. It’s not too small; it’s not too big; it’s not a monstrosity. It’s a home.

You’ve had so much success. Where would you like to be in 10 years?
I try to live in the moment. It says in the Bible, Matthew 6:34: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

The former Spice Girl has a hint of Audrey Hepburn about her in the photoshoot, taken for Elle magazine’s subscriber cover in the U.S. But the 35-year-old has revealed that she is insecure and that her shyness is the reason for her near-constant pout. She said: ‘People think I’m a moody bitch. I do have my insecurities. Maybe that is why I look a little bit serious. The kind of person who’s going to stand on the red carpet and love the attention and have the big grin – I’m just not like that. I want to get in there, do what I’ve got to do, and get home to my kids.’ The mother-of-three, speaking to Elle, said that her relationship with husband of 10 years David was as strong as ever. ‘David and I have a working relationship together, and we also have a private life together. Of the two, I vastly prefer the first (subscriber) cover over the second (newsstand) cover. On using humor to get through tough situations: “I remember being 7 and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, ‘Oh, honey, you’re so funny.’ So, she doesn’t lie to me… She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength.”

Firstly, kudos to Jen for finally realizing and accepting her lot in life … she will forever be the terribly wealthy pretty girl who is destined to remain single for all time immemorial. Secondly, wow her mom was a beyotch! Even if your mama doesn’t think you’re as pretty as other kids, the least they could do is lie (tho, I’m of the mind that good moms could never see another child more beautiful than their own). I wonder what other nuggets of info Jennifer will be revealing in this issue of Elle magazine. Lindsay Lohan looks all temptress sex vixen in these pictures as she sparkles in front of the camera wearing blinging jewellery and over-the-knee boots. But this is the photoshoot where thieves stole £24,000 of Dior diamond jewellery including earrings and a necklace. The actress, 23, is wearing the bracelets and rings that they did not make away with. Despite the theft, the Mean Girls star still managed to shine in the photos wearing tiny hot pants and a figure-hugging bodice. Police are still investigating the jewellery theft from the studio in Islington, north London in June. A police spokesman said there have been no arrests and Elle magazine, which arranged the shoot, said they did not believe the actress was ‘in any way responsible’. Lindsay, who has dyed her hair peroxide blonde since the shoot, is rumoured to be ready to film Robert Rodriguez’s new film Machete, which is about to start shooting. He dropped huge hints to MTV.com, saying: ‘We’re casting right now, and the script just came out great. There are a lot of people we’re sending it to, big names – but nobody that we’ve signed yet.’ He added: ‘Lindsay’s cool. There’s actually a cool part in the movie for her – if she takes it.’ She told followers on Twitter the hair colour change was for a film role. Replying to one fan who told her ‘I miss your red hair – but you look beautiful as always’, she tweeted back, ‘it’s for a movie I miss it too… I begged (not to have it dyed). LOL.’

Damn, she looks so much better with her red hair (rather than that garish blonde job she just had done) … I can’t wait ’til she dyes it back. Regarding the stolen jewels, I don’t necessarily think that Lindsay had anything to do with the missing baubles … particularly because even if she did nick them, she’d never be able to wear them out in public. On being a mother: “It’s one thing when you have an infant, but when you have this two-or three-year-old going, ‘Mommy, what’s the deal?’ it’s harder. Kingston’s whole thing is, ‘I need, I need.’ He is insane right now. We’re just hoping for the best and that he’s not going to turn out to be a freak, but we’ll see.”

On how her priorities changed from band to family: “I wasn’t even married. Now I’m a wife and a mother of two. It’s a really different role. I always referred to No Doubt as a marriage, because that’s what it’s like to be together for so long and go through what we’ve been through. I can’t really have that relationship with them anymore. My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now. That’s a huge, huge thing.”

Gwen really does keep things pretty normal … she goes out with her family, she does her thing, she lives her life. She is one of those very famous celebs that never seems to court attention and, yet, she never shies away from it when she gets it. I think it’s been pretty cool watching her mature into the woman she’s become. He would never admit it, his manner is so self-deprecatingly Canadian, but there’s something about Ryan Reynolds that is superhuman. Last September, when no one was looking, he married Scarlett Johansson. Their wedding at a small eco-resort on Vancouver Island went off without even a whisper of warning on the gossip blogs. We never even saw a photo. For the past two years, he’s been keeping a work schedule that would make most mortals crumble. He filmed five movies back-toback, with three of them out in the next month. On an ordinary day, he makes Daniel Craig look like Seth Rogen, but to augment his chiseled frame for two new roles, he rose at 4 a.m. to hit the gym and stuck to a steady diet of “chicken and drywall.” It worked. Damn, I guess I never realized how much this guy works. He’s going to be in so many movies this year and might appear in a Deadpool franchise sometime in the future? When does he have time to enjoy being married to Scarlett Johansson? It’s easy to see why Ryan is getting cast in all of these movies … there is something very likable about him (despite his claims that he can be a “moody bastard”) and the fact that he’s got amazing abs prolly doesn’t hurt either. I’m really amazed at how low profile he manages to keep his life. You really don’t see him out and about often. I guess some guys really can have it all … a happy relationship, a great career and a semi-normal sounding life. Who knew?
