Celebs of varying degrees of fame and hotness were on hand at Voyeur in West Hollywood, CA last night to attend US Weekly’s Hot Hollywood 2009 event in order to see and be seen. Here are a few pics from the red carpet of who made the guest list at last night’s event:

For the most part, it was an event that managed to attract the folks who are squarely on the pop culture radar right now … Julie Benz (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dexter) and Eliza Dusku (BtVS, Angel, Dollhouse) represented the Buffyverse contingent while Mark Salling from Glee and Adam Lambert from American Idol repped the Man of the Hour contingent. Mya, who looks poised to become the next Dancing with the Stars champ, made sure to get her party on last night as did Ms. La Toya Jackson (who, I understand, was quite popular with party-goers last night). All in all it sounds like everyone had a great time last night … it appears that all the right “it” people of the moment came out to play … sounds pretty fun to me.

UPDATE: Joss Whedon Speaks">the very sad news that Fox has canceled the Joss Whedon show Dollhouse, which stars Eliza Dushku, Eliza and her paramour Rick Fox made their way out to a LA Lakers basketball game in an attempt get cheered up … but from the looks on Eliza’s face all night long, it doesn’t appear that she got cheered up at all. Here are a few pics of Eliza and Rick at the Lakers game last night along with a few tweets from her official Twitter profile posted yesterday about the end of Dollhouse:

Hear it here. Hey, that’s really why I started twitter, the rumors/news IS true: Dollhouse will not cont. past these 13 eps :( BUT… There’s always a but… I can’t express enough– this has been one of the MOST rewarding experiences of my career. Thank you guys!

Yeah, I’m sure Eliza is BUMMED about the end of Dollhouse. I loved her in the series, I loved seeing her on TV on a weekly basis and I loved that she starred in a Whedon project. I’m not sure if she’ll have the same opportunity again in the future but … well … the whole thing just sucks.

Eliza did tweet while she was at the game last night, showing that she might’ve been having a good time … or at least was being a good sport:

This Boston girl can enjoy a Laker game. Shannon Brown exploded a coupla times- dunked the net OFF. Go Celtics, tho ;)

Eliza rulz … she may be out of work at the moment but she won’t be for long … I’m sure of it.

Yesterday we learned the heartbreaking and infuriating news that Fox has decided to cancel Dollhouse in the wake of sagging ratings and today we learn from TV Guide magazine that Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon saw the axing coming. In a new interview with Whedon that was conducted after Fox put Dollhouse on hiatus for the month of November but before the network decided to kill the series, Joss talks about the “end” of Dollhouse … which came much too soon for so many Dollhouse fans:

On Monday, I said TV Guide Magazine would run Joss Whedon’s recent reveals on the remaining Dollhouse episodes next week, but since the not entirely unexpected news broke of the show’s cancellation yesterday, I wanted to publish the interview from November 4 as soon as possible. Fox will complete Dollhouse’s 13 episode season with three weeks of back to back episodes on December 4, 11 and 18, then single episodes on January 8 and 15 before the series finale airs January 22. Here, Whedon shares scoop about this season’s upcoming episodes before he received the news about the show’s cancellation.

Are you writing episode 13 to be a finale, just in case? Hedging your bets?
You know what, we hedged the last time and we got renewed, so we’re definitely hedging them again. People forget but I did this every year with Buffy. That’s just insurance. I didn’t do it with Firefly and look what happened. I went mad as a March hare and made a movie. So we’re doing that this time. Hopefully we’ll have nine more to do it after. We always wrap everything up and then unravel it again, if we’re told to.

Do you really have hope that you could come back with nine more?
Do I have hope? I do think the December double airings are kind of interesting. I’m not planning a trip to Vegas, but I live in hope. I know how the show would go on. That’s the most important thing. I will pitch that to Fox, if they find that the economics are working out for them, they may say keep it going. If they don’t, which is likely, they’ll say the other thing. But the point is to be ready for both, though there is a sense of resolve at the end of 13.

You have some choice guest stars upcoming. What can you tell us about Summer Glau’s character, Bennett, who shows up on December 4?
She works for the Washington D.C. Dollhouse, along with Ray Wise’s Howard. She’s someone from Caroline’s (Echo’s pre-House name) past. She’s got information about Caroline that will really surprise people, especially Echo (Eliza Dushku). And she has a dead arm, so what’s not to like. One of her arms doesn’t work and it’s in a sling.

Why?
It just felt right for the character, just like it felt right that she should probably dress like a schoolgirl and be very nice and a little odd. I would call her the Topher of the D.C. House.

But she’s actually ethical, unlike the amoral Topher?
Yes, she has morals.

Is Wise basically D.C’s Adelle, the head of the House?
Yes, he would be Adelle’s counterpart. He’s not so big with the morals. It’s a departure for Ray Wise (laughs). Another person in power, Harding, played by Keith Carradine, will be back. What a wonderful actor.

Why do Echo, Adelle (Olivia Williams) and Topher (Fran Kranz) visit the D.C. House?
That involves the D.C. House starting to take action against the Senator, played by Alexis Denisof, who’s targeting them. The corporation [Rossum] sees that there’s a problem there. Why LA gets involved, I can’t tell you.

Mothereffing-Effer!!! Gah … this interview just KILLS me! Hearing from Joss himself how awesome the show will get only to know that it won’t live beyond this half season is … INFURIATING!!! Joss’s chat with TV Guide goes on from here … and it contains a few spoilers about the upcoming new eps that we have yet to see. For those of you who wish to remain spoiled, I put the rest of the spoilery info behind the cut — but you might want to read on to find out what Joss has planned for Alan Tudyk’s Alpha character and Amy Acker’s Dr. Saunders/Whiskey character …

You promised that Alan Tudyk (V) will return as psycho killer Alpha. Does he?
He’s back in a two-parter (Dec. 11) and he comes in with a bang. You don’t bring Alpha back unless you’ve got something really fun for him to do. He has very interesting questions to ask of someone and really appalling ways of asking them.

Thankfully, he sounds as vicious as when we last saw him.
He’s not a Franciscan monk. One of his personalities is a Franciscan friar. But he happens to be a very violent one. I will say he will be dealing not just with Echo but other members of the House as well.

Does Amy Acker return for more episodes? Is she still Saunders?
Amy Acker will return. We have two more episodes that we’re allowed to use her because of [her new ABC series] Happy Town. She comes back in an interesting fashion that I will in no way describe to you, a little bit later on. She’ll be the Doc, Claire Saunders. Where she’s been may be a surprise to people.

Is it true we’re finally seeing the feared Attic where they send the rebellious on December 18?
We’re going to finally reveal what it’s like. I can say without hesitation that it is a joyride, it’s like going to Disneyland on really bad acid.

Who will we see in the Attic?
Echo’s not the first person who will have been sent there. That’s all I’ll say about that.

What’s happening with Ballard (Tahmoh Penikett), the FBI agent turned Echo’s handler?
His relationship with Echo will change. His whole life will change more than once. They made an agreement to try and accomplish something and we’ll see that evolve. I know I’m being annoyingly coy.

Will they kiss?
Will Echo and Ballard kiss? It would be beyond reprehensible for him ever to kiss her. So, yeah!

You also wanted to bring back Felicia Day from “Epitaph One”…
She’ll be in a later episode. I would like to go back to the future, as in “Epitaph One.” I would love to see what happens to our peeps ten year on.

Where is the Dollhouse storyline heading?
This whole season has been about, and is getting more and more about, the larger conflict, not between Echo and the Dollhouse but between Echo and Rossum. When Echo first decided she wanted to deal with the Dollhouse, she didn’t realize how global it was going to be. What we’re heading for is bigger. We’re going to start getting to the top where the real power is and it’s going to get very, very twisted. That’s not strange coming from me, but even we’re thrown by it.

FML. I love Dollhouse … I am just so pissed it’s ending in this way. It sounds like there may be some resolution at the end of his half season but only because Joss Whedon was wise enough to plan for the worst. This interview, as cool as it is, only makes the sting of losing the show feel worse. I cannot wait to see the final eps when they air next month … but, again, it just sucks that end had to come so soon :(

Heidi Klum stepped out last night for her first public appearance since giving birth two weeks ago to her fourth child Lou. As a HUGE fan of Hallowe’en, Klum decided that her 10th Annual Hallowe’en Costume Party would be the event to bring her back out onto the red carpet. Here are a few photos of Heidi with hubby Seal dressed as creepy crows along with some of the celeb guests who came out for her big party last night:

I understand that Heidi has been planning this year’s costume since July … she made quite a scary-looking bird. The SKYY Vodka sponsored event was held at Voyeur in West Hollywood, CA and managed to inspire Eliza Dushku and beau Rick Fox to dress up as vampire/zombie versions of Bonnie & Clyde … the affair also inspired Paris Hilton and beau Doug Reinhardt to dress up as a swan and the Tooth Fairy respectively … and inspired Rachel Zoe to dress up as her usual scary self …. EEEEEERIE!! As far as Hallowe’en parties go, it’s tough to outdo Heidi Klum’s annual affair … it looks like it was a grand time, indeed.

Eliza Dushku, star of the Fox TV series Dollhouse (which has just been confirmed to last for at least a half season), is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Venice magazine. Thus far, only the coverphoto has been made available (the magazine website is awaiting relaunch) but considering how sexy the photo is, I think it’s deffo worth having a first look:

Eliza does big, sexy hair really well and I can’t wait to see more from this shoot. Any promo is good promo and I’m hoping every little bit helps get more people to watch Dollhouse. The show, which normally airs on Friday night, will not be shown tonight due to the baseball playoffs. As soon as the photos from this Venice shoot are available, I’m hoping to be able to share them with all y’all. This coverphoto is very encouraging … I can’t wait to see more.

Eliza Dushku, star of the Fox TV series Dollhouse, paid a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman to do a bit of promo for her show … which is great danger of being canceled. As some of you may be well aware, Dollhouse struggled in the ratings for the duration of its first season on the air … since the show returned with its second season, the ratings have gotten even worse. Entertainment Weekly published a great article explaining what the hell is going wrong with the show but without a major turn around very soon, it’s very unlikely that the show will be able to survive. At least Eliza is doing everything she can to promote the show in the hopes of keeping it on the air. Here are a couple photos of Eliza’s arrival at the Ed Sullivan Theater for her Late Show appearance last night and the article from EW explaining why they believe Dollhouse is very close to death:

In case you haven’t noticed, Dollhouse is tanking. It’s second season premiere didn’t perform well in the ratings, and last Friday’s episode did even worse — Stargate Universe kicked it in the cortex. Dollhouse is in very real danger of being canceled. Why isn’t it doing better? Where did Joss Whedon and company go wrong? Perhaps that isn’t fair — the blame can’t be put on Whedon’s shoulders alone. There is Fox’s decision to leave Dollhouse on Friday nights, bereft of any real advertising support — a programming block of one. If Fox really wanted to give Dollhouse a chance, they’d have paired it with Bones or Fringe, and not after a pair of sitcoms (one of which stars Michael Strahan) that no one is watching. Stargate Universe did well because Syfy Channel has been pushing it relentlessly, hammering it into their audience that something new is coming down the pike. But the thing you can level at the Dollhouse writers and producers is the middling way the show came out of the gate. Whedon has always been great at ending TV seasons — Buffy and Angel have tons of memorable season finales, and Dollhouse’s S1 ultimatum was terrific — but not so great at starting them. Listen, I’m all for Joss taking his time to build his universe and layer his stories with emotional substance topped with an action frosting. But anyone looking objectively at the Dollhouse situation for the season would have to see that the show has its back against the wall. It’s the fourth quarter and Team Dollhouse is down by a whole mess of points — it’s not the time to do slow burn undercovery episodes. Dollhouse needed to score, early and often, and it didn’t. Is it too late? I fear that it might be. Whedon and company are telling the stories they want to tell — and unless those stories suddenly bring the whup-ass in the next couple of weeks, they might not get to tell them for much longer. The saddest part of it is that I desperately want Whedon and Dollhouse to succeed — I want smart genre content to work on broadcast television, so that networks will continue to take risks on programming that doesn’t have a host. I just hope that it gets the chance.

I am in 100% agreement … Fox has done NOTHING to promote a show that they have exiled to a night that no one is home to watch TV (and the people who are at home on a Friday night are not the people that would watch a show like Dollhouse no matter what night it aired). AND, the show itself has yet to deliver an episode that would WOW a casual viewer. The show does great with Joss Whedon fans but I don’t know that it has yet to really pull in new viewers … yes, it’s tough to get people to watch your show on Friday night but if Whedon and the gang were to deliver a slew of kick-ass episodes then it would at least pull in some new viewers, which would help their sinking ratings. Since the ratings are going down, it sounds like even the Whedon fans are watching less and less. But … I’m not sure what more can be done at this point. Fox has continually dropped the ball in promoting the show and it is prolly too late to turn it all around. Eliza, for her part, has been championing the show as best she can … after the jump, watch video of her interview with David Letterman on The Late Show last night …

The sucky thing is that this clip cuts off right before she can even talk to Dave about Dollhouse. I can’t find a clip that features her entire interview but let’s just trust that she talked up the show as much as she could. I really love Dollhouse and I want it to succeed but if the ratings just continue to fall … there really is no hope. If you’re not watching Dollhouse, you need to start NOW! Even watching the show on Hulu.com helps. If you don’t, there won’t be any show for anyone to watch painfully soon enough :(

Eliza Dushku, Buffyverse alum and current star of the FOX TV series Dollhouse (which returns this Friday night with all new eps), is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Complex magazine. In Eliza’s coverstory interview, she talks about Dollhouse, her new video game, her upcoming movie projects and her favorite cuss word. Oh yeah, she also features in a very sexy photospread. Here is Eliza’s Complex coverphoto and excerpts from her coverstory interview:

After all, her futuristic TV show Dollhouse (about people who are brainwashed and given new personas) was a hit with critics but a miss with the ratings—so much so that the network declined to air the season finale. Dushku even prepared to be slapped with the C-word (“cancellation,” morons). But then a funny thing happened on the way to the Internet forums: viewers, galvanized by the news, rallied around the show and fox picked up Dollhouse for a second season. And right now you’re looking at why. ¶ See, the 28-year-old Dushku is an O.G.—Original Geek—and the fans love her for it. She stole scenes in the cult fave tv show Buffy The Vampire Slayer (and later in the film Bring It On and Tru Calling) and has been kicking ass ever since. While Hollywood is busy trying to win over fanboys, Eliza has had them in her leather pants pocket for ages. of course, It doesn’t hurt that her mentor, TV impresario Joss Whedon (the guy behind Dollhouse and Buffy), is the only other person with more geek cred than her. Now Dushku gets a second season and another round of playing a killer/mom/thief/hostage negotiator/girlfriend/blind cult follower/whatever else Joss can think of. But in a show where she can be anyone, Eliza Dushku just wants to be herself. And we couldn’t appreciate it more.

You just started shooting the new season of Dollhouse. How’s it going so far?
Eliza Dushku: I got married, consummated my marriage, and had my honeymoon—all yesterday! Today me and the hubby are beating each other down and breaking things. A lot going on, a lot of brawling. Jets and exploding Tahoes and me against a hangar full of giant stunt guys.

That’s a big week.
Eliza Dushku: Only when I come into my trailer do I, in secret, peek at my bruises and bangs. [Laughs.] ’Cause while I’m out there I’m like, “I’m good, let’s do another one!”

What’s the biggest difference between last season and this one for you?
Eliza Dushku: We’re back because of the love of fans and people who found and stuck with the show. Critics and viewers saw something really special, and the fact that we’re back just confirms that it’s all real. Now we have a chance to go deeper and really look closer in the beast.

Where were you when the show got renewed?
Eliza Dushku: I was in Uganda with my mother—who is an African politics professor—and some of her students. We were learning about some of the child soldiers from the war in Uganda and looking at building a trauma center for the rehabilitation and integration of these poor child soldiers. I’ve always had a plan B in terms of my life and my career. I love acting and producing, and I love this business, but at the same time my world is live-or-die based on if I’m on the hottest show. So I live my life, travel, and see what else is out there for me to be a strong part of, you know?

Looking at some of the projects you have down the line, what’s going on with the film Valediction?
Eliza Dushku: Valediction is wrapped and gonna be coming out—it’s a really great little movie. It comes in the 2010 slate of projects. I have stuff that I’m developing and negotiating, and I’m focusing on the new Dollhouse season. We have some exciting announcements coming up. The producer element is definitely something that’s driving me a little bit harder. It has me inside the machine. This business is a crapshoot, and now with this added role, I’m getting my hands in it more.

You have the Robert Mapplethorpe biopic that you’re producing too, right?
Eliza Dushku: Yes, yes. It’s awesome.

And is that just because you want to see a lot of naked guys?
Eliza Dushku: [Laughs.] Where does your head go? No, it really is deeper than that. It’s about self-discovery and self-reflection and breaking the mold of what society and media tells us we’re supposed to be interested in and what we’re supposed to be attracted to…versus what we’re not. That’s interesting to me.

And you’ve got a video game in stores, which I have a feeling might mean more to our readers than a Mapplethorpe biopic.
Eliza Dushku: I do! It’s called WET, as in “wetworks” [a euphemism for assassination]. I play a gun for hire, like a working-class Lara Croft. She’s all padded up, a Jack Daniel’s-drinking badass. That just proves again that it’s sort of a fun and kamikaze place for me to play.

The gameplay looks crazy.
Eliza Dushku: Yeah, it’s pretty rad. It has that ’70s Tarantino vibe to it.

Does it weird you out that people are gonna be googling “Eliza Dushku Wet”?
Eliza Dushku: Why? What’s weird about that? [Laughs.] It is what it is. That’s what my grandma used to say, great words to live by.

It has a lot of swearing in it—the game, not your grandma’s saying.
Eliza Dushku: My character has a bit of a truck driver/sailor/killer mouth, no doubt.

After the jump, check out a few more excerpts from Eliza’s Complex coverstory interview and see some of the sexy pics from her accompanying photospread …

What is your favorite swear word?
Eliza Dushku: I’m pretty loyal to the F-bomb.

Yeah? It’s a classic.
Eliza Dushku: It is, and yet so modern!

I keep hearing you say that you’re a tomboy, but you certainly don’t look the part.
Eliza Dushku: Hmmm, you don’t see me on weekends. Do you want to? [Laughs.]

A thousand times yes. So do you consider yourself an outdoorsy person?
Eliza Dushku: I am, I am. We’ve [Ed.—meaning Eliza and her man Rick Fox. Seriously.] been in Malibu on the weekends this summer and I love the ocean and being outdoorsy. Football on the beach and tackle football in the grass. I love sports. Playing and watching them.

How has being in show business since you were 17 affected who you are as a person right now?
Eliza Dushku: There’s so much I’m grateful for, and in other ways it’s probably driven me a little bit loca. I mean, it’s a strange sort of phenomenon, especially in the past 10 years, the way the media and celebrity have changed. But it’s my life, and I wouldn’t try to mess with it. I mean, it’s certainly something that I can sit and think about—but now, at this point in my life, not for more than for a couple of minutes. And then I just dive back in, head first. It’s all I know.

What do you hate most about Hollywood?
Eliza Dushku: What do I hate most? Driving. Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive. Actually, it would probably be the way the media neglects to put important issues in the foreground because they put too much importance on the entertainment world. I regret sometimes that so many world headlines are generated from the celebrity world, because there are all these other things that are…

So you’re saying you hate me.
Eliza Dushku: No! I think it’s all relevant. There’s a place for everything. But when what’s happening with Jon & Kate Plus 8 is more important than women and children being slaughtered in the Congo…I mean, I know actors say that and I’m just another actor talking about it. But think about the perspective that shows.

Beautiful, smart AND deep … what more could you ask for? I am SO excited for the return of Dollhouse this Friday night. PLEASE make sure you TUNE IN or at the very least DVR the show because it really deserves to be on the air and that will require ratings. I’ve been able to preview the season 2 premiere ep and it’s really good. Jamie Bamber, from Battlestar Gallactica, guest stars and we get our first look at Alexis Denisof’s character!! This Friday night, 9PM, FOX — BE THERE … or no more sexy Eliza Dusku pictures for you.

Eliza Dushku is interviewed in the new issue of TV Guide magazine wherein she talks about the upcoming second season of Dollhouse which she describes as “racier” and “deeper”. The magazine also gives us our first look at Eliza (in character as Echo) with season premiere guest star Jamie Bamber (ex-Battlestar Galactica, who we learned last month would be guesting on the show). Here is that promo pic and Eliza’s interview:

<fton color=white>It isn’t playtime in The Dollhouse anymore. Stars Eliza Dushku and Tamoh Penikett are promising that, after some growing pains in the freshman season, Dollhouse is darker, racier and rougher than ever for Season 2. “I just finished episode 3 and I’m proud of the show already,” Dushku told TVGuideMagazine.com. “It’s different, it’s racier and it’s deeper. We found that rhythm and now we’re just blowing it out of the water. Everyone is really in their skin and comfortable playing around with the light and the dark,” she explained, noting series creator Joss Whedon nailed the show’s stride in its final first-season episode. “The cast all settled in to their roles, and then in the 13th episode things shot into the future and everyone got an idea where they might go – the dark places – and everyone came back with a confidence.” That confidence meant a willingness to push the boundaries, action-wise: “I learned how to beat up boys using a private jet as a weapon,” she chuckles. “I beat these guys with a jet. I got married in one of the first episodes. I had beaucoup bruises and bumps and fights already.” As far as the racier side, Dushku makes it sounds motherly for a moment before her big reveal. “I was shooting with babies this week, which was interesting and different, and there was an actual what-people-do-with-babies thing going on.” She pulled at her shirt collar to flash a little skin and laughed. “There was a lot going on!” There’s also a possible romance brewing. “Tahmoh’s in The Dollhouse now and there’s a lot of chemistry, a lot of things building with Echo and Agent Ballard, so that’s a little tease,” she said, adding “I’m teased, too. I don’t know what’s going to happen. Joss will come in and start snickering and whistling.” “I just read the fourth episode a few days ago and it’s awesome,” agreed Penikett. “It’s dark. I’m going to tell you: this is really one of the darker things that Joss Whedon has done. At the same time because there’s a brilliant writing staff they manage to have some light moments.” Penikett’s also looking forward to a reunion of sorts with his Battlestar Galactica co-stars on Dollhouse. “We’ve got Jamie Bamber in the first episode and then we have Michael Hogan in the second episode,” he said. “I’d definitely like to take credit for that but it wasn’t like that. Joss Whedon is a huge fan of Battlestar and ultimately it was about him wanting to bring in some very talented actors who were great for the parts. It’s awesome because for both of them it’s very much a departure from the characters that they play on Battlestar.”

A romance betwixt Echo and Agent Ballard, you say? Oh man … I kinda love that. As much as I loved the little thing that went on between Ballard and November (Miracle Laurie), I wouldn’t mind seeing him dabble in Echo’s waters. I can’t even begin to express how excited I am that both Jamie Bamber and Michael Hogan from Battlestar Galactica will be guesting on the show. While I’m most anxious for Buffyverse alums Alexis Denisof and Summer Glau to join the cast, having some of the Battlestar folks on the show will amp up the geek factor and make an already awesome show even awesomer. Bring it on! I cannot wait!!

UPDATE: I was *just* sent a press release from FOX about Dollhouse Season 2 that reveals which characters Alexis Denisof, Summer Glau and other guest stars will portray on the show. Because this may be a bit spoilery, I’ll keep that info behind the cut. Good news, tho, the press release promises the return of Dr. Claire Saunders/Whiskey!!!!! Read on if you want to find out …

Summer Glau (“Firefly,” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) reunites with Joss Whedon when the actress joins the cast of DOLLHOUSE this fall in a recurring role as BENNETT, a Dollhouse employee who shares a past with ECHO (Eliza Dushku). The second season of DOLLHOUSE premieres Friday, Sept. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Additional guest stars appearing throughout the upcoming second season include Alexis Denisof (“Angel”), Jamie Bamber (“Battlestar Galactica”), Michael Hogan (“Battlestar Galactica”) and Keith Carradine (“Dexter”). DANIEL PERRIN (Denisof) is a U.S. senator leading a witch hunt to track down the underground organization. Mysterious, charismatic businessman MARTIN KLAR (Bamber) is Echo’s new husband. BRADLEY KARRENS (Hogan) comes to the Dollhouse hoping to stop a psychotic family member’s killing spree, while MATTHEW HARDING (Carradine), a nemesis of Dollhouse leader ADELLE DEWITT (Olivia Williams), stirs up trouble. Additionally, DR. CLAIRE SAUNDERS/WHISKEY (Amy Acker) and MADELINE/NOVEMBER (Miracle Laurie) return this season in multiple-episode arcs.

This past Tuesday we saw photos of Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of FHM magazine … but today we get to see the first promo pics released for the upcoming second season of Dollhouse. In addition to a very cool promo pic of Eliza in character as Echo …

… we also get to see new promo photos of her castmates Tahmoh Penikett (Paul Ballard), Dichen Lachman (Sierra), Enver Gjokaj (Victor) and Fran Kranz (Topher Brink) posin’ all purdy for the cameras — after the jump …

Love the promo pics … particularly because they signal the premiere of new eps of Dollhouse in just a few short weeks. While I am absolutely heartbroken that Summer is already more than half way over, I am encouraged and a wee bit happy that we are that much closer to the new Fall TV season. I am SO excited for the return of Dollhouse. Wee!!!

The incredibly sexy Eliza Dushku, the once Faith the Vampire Slayer and current star of Joss Whedon’s latest effort Dollhouse, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of FHM magazine … and she is lookin’ damn good, if I do say so myself. Here is Eliza’s sexy FHM coverphoto:

I mean … it’s Eliza — in bathing suits — AND UNDERWEAR — what more do you need to know? Yes there is a coverstory interview, yes she talks about her role as an action hero in Dollhouse but … do we really care about anything other than the accompanying photospread? After the jump, check out a bunch of photos of Eliza in the September issue of FHM …

Wowie, wowie, wow! You know, even if this photospread is a calculated attempt on Eliza’s part to lure more dudes to watch Dollhouse, I’m all for it. Give the people what they want … and how!! She looks amazing. I’m so glad we have much Dushku to look forward to on TV this Fall. Woot!!
