Yesterday afternoon we saw photos of Ed Westwick showing off his freshly inked, two newest tattoos (a pigeon feather and a nekkid pin-up girl) and today we get to see photos of Ed at the scene of the crime. Here are photos of Ed Westwick pausing for a smoke break at the tattoo parlor where he got inked recently … in the first photo you can see that he had yet to get his nudie girl tat and in the second photo you can see that he had just gotten his bird feather tattoo:

See … I dunno. I get that tattoos are cool and all, I have a few myself, but I just really think it’s a bad idea for an actor to get tattoos quite this large and on such high profile parts of the body. I’m sure these tattoos have some significance to Mr. Westwick but I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone thinks it’s a good idea to get a topless woman tattooed on one’s body. Mebbe he was going for the drunken sailor look … I dunno … but methinks that one day (mebbe soon) Ed Westwick will look back on these tattoos with great regret. I hope he truly enjoys them while they’re still “cool”, tho.

UGH! Shield thine eyes, Gossip Girl/Ed Westwick fans cuz I’ve got some really bad news for you. It turns out that Mr. Westwick decided to get some new ink added to his body and commissioned TWO new tattoos to be etched into his skin. First up, check out this horrid-looking tattoo of a bird feather (pigeon?) inked onto the back of his left arm:

I mean … wow. I don’t know WTF? got into him to think that this tattoo was a good idea but … yeah … there you have it. BUT, it gets worse. Ed got another fairly large-sized tattoo inked onto the front of his right arm … I suppose I should warn that it is technically NSFW but since it’s a tattoo, it’s not really that explicit. Curious? Here are a couple photos of Gossip Girl male fashionista Chuck Bass (played by Brit boy Ed Westwick) lookin’ all faboo and shizz on the NYC set of GG this week … Sarah Jessica Parker may be stepping back into Carrie Bradshaw‘s fashionable Manolo Blahnik shoes elsewhere in Manhattan these days, but Chuck Bass has been the fierce fashion beyotch in town for years now:

You know Chuck loves his lavender … and I’m really feeling the gangster zoot suit on him … it looks like the upcoming new season of Gossip Girl is gonna be ripe with hot clothes for Chuck to wear. Now that he’s lookin’ to be lip-lockin’ with the dudes, homie’s gotta step up his game. You go, gurl!!

Gossip Girl co-stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, whose character on the show we learned earlier today will be exploring his gay side this coming season of GG, are featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Korean Elle magazine. Here is the couple’s cute coverphoto:

The news that fans of the Gossip Girl book series have been waiting to hear has finally come. Playboy cad Chuck Bass, who has an affinity for the ladies as well as the gents in the book version of the series, will indeed be exploring the realm of same-sex fraternization in the TV version of the series. Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly broke the news late yesterday that Chuck Bass, played by Brit Ed Westwick, will be kissing a dude in the third ep of the coming Fall season … which is good news because this plot development does take place in the book series. I am very happy to know that producers of the TV show are keepin’ it real. Here are pics of Westwick in costume on the set of GG here in NYC yesterday:

Spotted: Chuck Bass sucking face with a dude! It’s true! Multiple Gossip Girl insiders confirm to me exclusively that the CW phenom is currently shooting an episode for its upcoming third season in which Ed Westwick’s legendary lothario kisses another man … First things first: Sorry to disappoint, but no, it’s not Chace Crawford. Westwick’s “romantic” interest is up-and-comer Neal Bledsoe (CSI: NY, Guiding Light), who’s guest-starring in episode 6 as Josh Ellis, NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Since Josh is tasked with selecting an incoming student for the honor of delivering the freshman speech, he’s, shall we say, a person of interest to Blair. In fact, she’s so determined to snag the slot that she goes so far as to pimp out her boyfriend to the gay guy in charge. The catch? All you need to know is there is one. Oh, and wait until you hear what Chuck says to Blair following the lip-lock. (Must. Resist. Temptation. To. Spoil.) It was only a matter of time before GG played the maybe-gay card with Chuck, who swung both ways in Cecily von Ziegesar’s Gossip Girl books.

Well, it’s about time. Not for nothing but a show as fun as Gossip Girl really needs to up its gay factor … and, sorry, Serena‘s gay little brother ain’t really gettin’ the job done. Now, I have not read the GG books but I’ve been well informed of Chuck Bass‘s proclivities for the man-on-man action. Sure he dabbles but dabbling can be fun … which, I’m sure, we’ll see acted out this coming season on the TV show. Perhaps once the other GG guys see how much fun Chuck is having they’ll wanna join in, too (I’m talking to you Nate Archibald)! This new development deffo makes Gossip Girl must see TV … at least for me.

On the season finale of Gossip Girl last Spring many changes took place with the gang to set up the coming season (filming now in NYC). We saw that Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass finally got together and we were introduced to the lovechild of Lily van der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey. Here on the blog a few weeks ago, we learned that Joanna Garcia (formerly of The CW series Privileged) has joined the cast … and, of course, Michelle Trachtenberg is back as Georgina Sparks. Here are a few new pics of some of the cast on the NYC set of Gossip Girl this week:

I LOVE seeing Ed Westwick in fun t-shirt … clearly he was not in full Chuck Bass costume yet ‘cuz Chuck would never be seen in public wearing a t-shirt. I also love that Chace Crawford is carrying Joanna Garcia‘s purse. Chace totally strikes me as the purse-carrying sort of fella. Late last month we learned that filming production got underway in NYC on the 3rd season of Gossip Girl and shortly thereafter we also learned that both Hilary Duff and Joanna Garcia (who previously starred in The CW series Privileged which has been canceled) are joining the cast for the 3rd season. Today we get to see a few new pics from the set of GG where a couple of co-stars were filming a sexy kissing scene:

Here are a few pics from the NYC set of Gossip Girl which went into filming production of its third season earlier today. Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Blake Lively and Chace Crawford were all spotted in Gramercy Park today gettin’ back to work on their hit CW TV series … behold:

Leighton, who we saw earlier today in the new Cobra Starship music video Good Girls Go Bad, is lookin’ very fresh-faced in these photos. It really looks like the memory of her leaked sex tape is but a thing of the past. Ed, who celebrated his birthday with girlfriend and GG co-star Jessica Szohr over the weekend, was lookin’ mighty smart in his snazzy suspenders. Blake Lively was lookin’ a hot mess but, in her defense, it looks like she had yet to hit the make-up trailer. Chace Crawford looks his usual perfection. Ah … it’s good to see the GG kids back in action. While some of us will be enjoying a Summer vacay, these folks are just getting back to work. I’m sure we’ll be seeing much more from the set of Gossip Girl in the weeks and months to come.

How about we talk about some birthdays to offset all the death talk that has plagued us in the past few days … Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick celebrated his 22nd birthday at Lucky Strike bowling lanes in NYC last night with his girlfriend (and GG co-star) Jessica Szohr … here are a couple pics of sexy sexy making his way out of his bday party last night:

Oh yes, Mr. Westwick has been lookin’ migh-ty fine in the past few weeks or so (you may recall he was lookin’ pretty good at that recent K-Swiss event in NYC, too). It sounds like he had himself a pretty fun birthday party at Lucky Strike last night. We have Lucky Strike lanes here in SoCal and my friends and I had a great time bowling togther this past Winter. Let’s send out all of our birthday lurve to Ed and wish him many more happy birthdays to come!!
