UGH! Shield thine eyes, Gossip Girl/Ed Westwick fans cuz I’ve got some really bad news for you. It turns out that Mr. Westwick decided to get some new ink added to his body and commissioned TWO new tattoos to be etched into his skin. First up, check out this horrid-looking tattoo of a bird feather (pigeon?) inked onto the back of his left arm:

I mean … wow. I don’t know WTF? got into him to think that this tattoo was a good idea but … yeah … there you have it. BUT, it gets worse. Ed got another fairly large-sized tattoo inked onto the front of his right arm … I suppose I should warn that it is technically NSFW but since it’s a tattoo, it’s not really that explicit. Curious? Here are a couple photos of Gossip Girl male fashionista Chuck Bass (played by Brit boy Ed Westwick) lookin’ all faboo and shizz on the NYC set of GG this week … Sarah Jessica Parker may be stepping back into Carrie Bradshaw’s fashionable Manolo Blahnik shoes elsewhere in Manhattan these days, but Chuck Bass has been the fierce fashion beyotch in town for years now:

You know Chuck loves his lavender … and I’m really feeling the gangster zoot suit on him … it looks like the upcoming new season of Gossip Girl is gonna be ripe with hot clothes for Chuck to wear. Now that he’s lookin’ to be lip-lockin’ with the dudes, homie’s gotta step up his game. You go, gurl!!

The news that fans of the Gossip Girl book series have been waiting to hear has finally come. Playboy cad Chuck Bass, who has an affinity for the ladies as well as the gents in the book version of the series, will indeed be exploring the realm of same-sex fraternization in the TV version of the series. Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly broke the news late yesterday that Chuck Bass, played by Brit Ed Westwick, will be kissing a dude in the third ep of the coming Fall season … which is good news because this plot development does take place in the book series. I am very happy to know that producers of the TV show are keepin’ it real. Here are pics of Westwick in costume on the set of GG here in NYC yesterday:

Spotted: Chuck Bass sucking face with a dude! It’s true! Multiple Gossip Girl insiders confirm to me exclusively that the CW phenom is currently shooting an episode for its upcoming third season in which Ed Westwick’s legendary lothario kisses another man … First things first: Sorry to disappoint, but no, it’s not Chace Crawford. Westwick’s “romantic” interest is up-and-comer Neal Bledsoe (CSI: NY, Guiding Light), who’s guest-starring in episode 6 as Josh Ellis, NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Since Josh is tasked with selecting an incoming student for the honor of delivering the freshman speech, he’s, shall we say, a person of interest to Blair. In fact, she’s so determined to snag the slot that she goes so far as to pimp out her boyfriend to the gay guy in charge. The catch? All you need to know is there is one. Oh, and wait until you hear what Chuck says to Blair following the lip-lock. (Must. Resist. Temptation. To. Spoil.) It was only a matter of time before GG played the maybe-gay card with Chuck, who swung both ways in Cecily von Ziegesar’s Gossip Girl books.

Well, it’s about time. Not for nothing but a show as fun as Gossip Girl really needs to up its gay factor … and, sorry, Serena’s gay little brother ain’t really gettin’ the job done. Now, I have not read the GG books but I’ve been well informed of Chuck Bass’s proclivities for the man-on-man action. Sure he dabbles but dabbling can be fun … which, I’m sure, we’ll see acted out this coming season on the TV show. Perhaps once the other GG guys see how much fun Chuck is having they’ll wanna join in, too (I’m talking to you Nate Archibald)! This new development deffo makes Gossip Girl must see TV … at least for me.

This photo was first posted anonymously on Twitter so it’s quite possible that it’s not meant for public consumption just yet. Nonetheless, it has made its way to us for our viewing pleasure. I’m not sure how I feel about this photo, to be quite honest. The black lipstick might be a bit much … but I am curious to see the other photos from this shoot. On the season finale of Gossip Girl last Spring many changes took place with the gang to set up the coming season (filming now in NYC). We saw that Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass finally got together and we were introduced to the lovechild of Lily van der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey. Here on the blog a few weeks ago, we learned that Joanna Garcia (formerly of The CW series Privileged) has joined the cast … and, of course, Michelle Trachtenberg is back as Georgina Sparks. Here are a few new pics of some of the cast on the NYC set of Gossip Girl this week:

I LOVE seeing Ed Westwick in fun t-shirt … clearly he was not in full Chuck Bass costume yet ‘cuz Chuck would never be seen in public wearing a t-shirt. I also love that Chace Crawford is carrying Joanna Garcia’s purse. Chace totally strikes me as the purse-carrying sort of fella. Late last month we learned that filming production got underway in NYC on the 3rd season of Gossip Girl and shortly thereafter we also learned that both Hilary Duff and Joanna Garcia (who previously starred in The CW series Privileged which has been canceled) are joining the cast for the 3rd season. Today we get to see a few new pics from the set of GG where a couple of co-stars were filming a sexy kissing scene:

Now, it really should come as no surprise to fans of GG who these two kissing co-stars are … but, just in case and to err on the side of caution, I’ll keep the spoileryish reveal behind the cut.
