D&G Designs For The 'Les Folies' & 'Aphrodite Live' Tours
Dolce & Gabbana Will Design The Tour Costumes For Kylie Minogue’s New Tour

Kylie Minogue updated her official Twitter profile yesterday with a cute new photo of her BFFs Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana … the design team that will be creating costumes for her upcoming Les Folies and Aphrodite Live concert tours. As some of you may be well aware, Kylie has teamed up with D&G on previous tours so this collabo bodes well for the look of her upcoming tours.

Madonna Models Lingerie For Dolce & Gabbana

Yesterday we saw a few photos of Madonna raw and un-retouched from her Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana. Today we get to see new, presumably retouched, photos of Madge in new promo photos for D&G Lingerie … behold:

Just in case anyone needed reminding, Madonna has once again set out to prove she’s not letting age change her ways. The 52-year-old has posed for yet another racy Dolce&Gabanna advert, this time while wearing an incredibly low-cut black body suit and hold-up stockings. Accessorised with sunglasses, a crucifix and a red string Kabbalah bracelet, she prowls around an unmade bed with her cleavage threatening to spill out of her lingerie. In another frame, she reclines on white sheets accompanied by a black and white cat. Madonna struck up a friendship with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana while she was filming Dick Tracy in the early Nineties and they were invited to designer her costumes for The Girlie Show tour in 1993. The Italian designer duo announced their new collaboration with Madonna last year, which came after she spent her birthday with the pair on-board this yacht in Italy last August. They said at the time: ‘To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true.’

HMMM … I wonder what the unretouched versions of these photos look like? On second thought, I don’t wanna know.

Photoshop of Horrors
Madonna Un-Retouched

At the start of the year we got our first look at Madonna in the new Spring/Summer ’10 ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana … but, naturally, those photos were retouched to perfection. Today we get to see a few of those D&G photos pre-Photoshop … raw and untouched:

Everything looks so much better in black and white, don’tcha think? And to be fair, every single magazine photo and/or promo ad photo is retouched to perfection … but, in all honesty, I like seeing Madonna in her natural state:

The woman is still fierce and fabulous even tho she isn’t — GASP — perfect. Actually, she looks pretty damn good in this last photo. Go on with your bad self, Maddy.

Madonna Gets On Her Hands & Knees For Dolce & Gabbana

In June we got our first look at Madonna in the new Fall/Winter 2010-2011 ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana. In July we got to see a few more photos from the campaign. Today we get to see a new, stray photo from the D&G campaign which features her Madgesty on her hands and knees … mock scrubbing the floor:

Now, you’re prolly trying to think back to the last time you saw Madonna in this position. Well, she got down on all fours for her Reinvention Tour back in 2004 after she got on all fours to perform Like A Virgin at the first MTV Video Music Awards back in 1984 after she got on hands and knees way back in her early nude modeling days in the early 80′s. As you can see, this is a position that Maddy is quite comfortable with. Honestly, I’m more shocked that she’s doing household labor. It’s a nice photo, I suppose. What do y’all think?

Behind The Scenes Photos Of Madonna’s Photoshoot For Dolce & Gabbana Have Surfaced

Last month we got our first look at the first photo released from Madonna‘s new ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2010-2011 and earlier this month we got to see a whole batch of photos from the campaign. Today we get to see a few very cool behind the scenes photos that were snapped on the set of the photoshoot … behold:

Beauty can be captured in many different ways, the only difference resides in the angle with which we want to tell it. The movements of the backstage give us the full tale of how Steven Klein created the AW 10-11 adv campaign and not only. What we see is what surrounded them while in the process of putting together perfect images, the atmosphere, the mood, Madonna, are preciously framed out of “the” picture … What we see is what surrounded them while in the process of putting together perfect images, the atmosphere, the mood, Madonna, are preciously framed out of “the” picture.

Not only am I taken by the photos from the campaign but I am also quite taken by these behind the scenes photos. I think they capture a side of Madonna that we don’t get to see very often. She looks spectacular, no question. Check out a few more behind the scenes photos from the D&G photoshoot set, after the jump …

Italians Do It Better
More Photos Of Madonna For Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 10-11 Have Been Released

A couple of weeks ago we got our first look at the first image from the upcoming Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2010-2011 ad campaign featuring celeb spokesmodel Madonna and today we get to see a whole slew of new photos from that campaign … check ‘em out:

She is one of the most famous Italian Americans in the world. And now, Madonna is going back to her roots with a new set of stunning black and white shots for a new Dolce and Gabbana advertising campaign. One new photo sees the star in the unlikely guise of farm girl as she holds chickens alongside a male model, whilst showing off her curves in a low cut dress and cardigan. Another shot shows the star looking glam in jacket, corset and patterned black tights alongside an Italian mother figure who is clad in apron and headscarf. Madonna, looking much younger than her 51 years, is also seen lying on a bed holding a baby, and laughing alongside a big Italian family, not unlike her own in real life. Her dad, Silvio Anthony Ciccone, is a first generation Italian/American and she is the third of six children. The shots form part of the campaign for the Italian designer duo’s autumn/winter collection. Earlier this year, Madonna also appeared in a series of sexy housewife poses for the fashion house’s spring summer campaign which showed her hanging up laundry and sweeping the kitchen. The singer struck up a friendship with the Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana while she was filming Dick Tracy in the early Nineties and they were invited to design her costumes for The Girlie Show tour in 1993.

Yes, I do love the Italian family vibe of this campaign but Madonna‘s pale pallor really makes her stick out in these photos. It’s like, one of these things is not like the other … instead of a regular member of this family, she looks like the distant American cousin who shows up on holiday one in a blue moon. Still, the campaign is very chic … and age-appropriate ;) After the jump, check out the chicken photo mentioned above (ah, how much I wish the photo actually showed her holding a cock) and a couple more from the campaign …

First Look: Madonna For Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 10-11

Remember back in April when we saw those photos of Madonna posing with a very young boy at a NYC street photoshoot for Dolce & Gabbana? Well, today we get our first look at the final product. Here is the first image released from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2010-2011 ad campaign:

For autumn winter 2010-2011, Dolce&Gabbana tells us a black and white story celebrating the power of charisma framed by the faces of a glorious Italian family. Spring summer 2010 and now autumn winter 2010-2011, Madonna continues to enlighten some Dolce&Gabbana captured memories. This winter’s Dolce&Gabbana womenswear advertising campaign is like a family photo album where dignity, beauty find all their ways of expression: an impromptu tango in the living room, a heartfelt laughter luminescent in form, faces, serious, proud.

Now, this campaign should not be confused with Maddy‘s other collabo with D&G for her line of MDG Sunglasses. I was a bit worried, when I saw this photoshoot happening last April, that this young boy was gonna be paired up with Madge as a love interest … I kinda like the idea of him escorting his older … let’s say aunt … home from the market. I can dig this classy-looking campaign … I can’t wait to see more.

Madonna Shoots A New Ad Campaign For D&G

Earlier this week it was reported that Madonna was rumored to be teaming up with Dolce & Gabbana again to appear in their next promo ad campaign and today we have the photographic proof that the Material Girl will be returning as D&G‘s celebrity spokesmodel. Madonna was spotted on the streets of Harlem, NY yesterday with a very young male model posing for famed photographer Steven Klein:

IS Madonna set to be Dolce & Gabbana’s campaign girl for a second season? Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce are currently in Manhattan filming their autumn/winter 2010 menswear commercial at Mulberry Street Bar in NoLita, Fashionologie reports, and it seems that the Material Girl has been spotted nearby. Although there is no official word from the design duo regarding the womenswear collection, it’s alleged that Madonna’s favourite photographer Steven Klein will be shooting in the very same neighborhood in the coming week. Madonna has already fronted one lucrative campaign for her longstanding friends Dolce and Gabbana, in addition to designing a range of sunglasses for the Italian designers – the first co-branded venture they have ever undertaken. The world awaits an official announcement from super-tweeter Stefano Gabbana, who excitedly revealed their first collaboration via the social media site back in November, and has already tweeted photos from the NY menswear shoot.

HMMM … Madonna sure can’t get enough of the young boys now, can she? I think it’s safe to say that the cat is already out of the bag after seeing these photos. As you may recall, Madonna played a very domestic role in the last D&G promo ad campaign … this time around, I think she’s playing more of a motherly role. Surely we’re to believe that, in these new photos, she is a mature mother taking her young son out for a walk … cuz I think it’s asking a bit much for us to believe they are playing, ahem, love interests. I suspect we’ll be seeing more photos from Maddy‘s new D&G photoshoot well ahead of the release of the final photos. I wonder what Madonna will be doing with this young child in the rest of the photos.

First Look: MDG Sunglasses By Madonna And Dolce & Gabbana

Last Sunday we got our first look at the first leaked promo pics for the new line of Fashion sunglasses called MDG which were designed by Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana (just a few days after we learned Maddy is launching her own fashion line called MG Icon). Today we get our first look at the sunglasses themselves … check ‘em out:

After forming her own brand with Neil Cole’s Iconix Group and creating the Material Girl juniors collection for Macy’s, it’s clear that Madonna has a very bright future in fashion. Perhaps to shield her from any harmful UV Rays of Light, the designing diva is partnering with pals Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for a collection of sunglasses to be sold bearing the logo MDG. “Designing an eyewear line with Madonna was a new experience for us. The oversized and wraparound designs are sexy and very feminine, like our clothes. Madonna’s creative contribution and unique point of view were key, even in designing the MDG logo,” Dolce and Gabbana remarked in a release. The six-pair collection, retailing for $250 to $290, will be produced and distributed by Luxottica, Dolce & Gabbana’s eyewear licensee. The glasses will be available at Dolce & Gabbana stores internationally, as well as Sunglass Hut and select opticians starting in May. Madonna and the designers have collaborated on several projects previously — including the costumes for her 1993 Girlie Show tour — and she currently appears in the design house’s spring ad campaign.

These glasses look great! Thus far, I’m impressed. I might have to get an oversized pair of shades for myself … you know, cuz it gets really sunny here in SoCal :) What do y’all think … do you like this new line of sunglasses?

Part of the MG Icon fashion line?
Madonna Teams Up With Dolce & Gabbana For A New Line Of Sunglasses

Earlier this week we learned that Madonna is launching her own fashion line called MG Icon and that the first offering from this new line will be a juniors collection called Material Girl. But today, we get our first look at new promo photos of Madonna modeling a new line of designer sunglasses that were created in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana. I understand the sunglasses are called MDG (ie. Madonna + Dolce + Gabbana … and/or perhaps MaDGe) and this is what they look like:

It is being reported that this new line of sunglasses will be made available “soon” and will continue to be made available into 2011. What is not clear is whether or not this new line of shades has anything to do with Maddy‘s new MG Icon fashion line. Whatever the case may be, I would certainly hope the glasses will be a bit more fashionable than the sunglasses Madonna designed for H&M a few years ago. While those glasses were cool (for $30 glasses), I would expect glasses designed by D&G to be of better quality (because you know they will come with a hefty price tag). Whether or not this sunglasses line has anything to do with Maddy‘s new fashion line, it’s plainly obvious that she is moving boldly into the world of Fashion. Do you think you can handle it?
