On Friday afternoon Britney Spears enjoyed an afternoon lunch date with her youngest son Jayden James in Calabasas, CA while her eldest son Sean Preston was at Kindergarten. That’s right, folks, Britney‘s first born son started school this Fall and while he was learnin’ his ABCs, Britney and JJ stepped out for a little lunch together:

On Saturday we learned the AMAZINGLY HAPPY news that longtime couple Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka are expecting the birth of twins via surrogate this Fall and today we get to see where the joyous couple celebrated together on the day this happy news broke … they went to Disneyland, y’all!

Aren’t these two the cutest couple ever? I’m telling you … Neil and David‘s babies are going to be very lucky little kids. Dads who love Disneyland? Oh yeah … lucky duck kids. E! News, who first reported news of the couples twins before the news was officially confirmed as true, are today reporting on the sexes of the twin babies. Firstly, I want to start out by saying THANK YOU ALL so much for all the very sweet birthday messages y’all sent all day long yesterday. On Twitter, on Facebook here in the comments … the outpouring of love was just amazing. I really did have a great birthday and all your warm wishes were a big part of my great day.

As I mentioned yesterday, when I was 8 years old I dreamed of spending my birthday at Disneyland … and last night, David and I made that dream come true:

With my Birthday Mickey Ears on, David and I had the best time ever at Disney. We rode all my fave rides, ate all my fave junk food and got to see all the shows I wanted to see. Those of you familiar with the layout of Disneyland know that this teacup is a stationary one set up in front of the Mad Hatter Hat Shop in Fantasyland for photo ops. David and I took some fun pics in the teacups on the actual Mad Tea Party Ride a couple of weeks ago but we’ve taken many photos inside this very same teacup pictured here. Disneyland has to be the perfect setting for this perfect family to look happy and, well, perfect in. Gah … couldn’t you just puke from all the perfectness?

Yesterday afternoon, David and I make the 40 minute trek down to Anaheim, CA to spend the evening/night at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure so that we could finally see the new nighttime attraction World of Color which opened to the public last week. David and I, both proud annual pass cardholders, do our best to get down to Disney as much as possible and we were so due for a trip:

We spent the first part of our evening at Disneyland (because it closed earlier than California Adventure did last night) and we had a blast. I donned my 55th Anniversary Limited Edition Mickey Mouse Ears and we ran amok thruout the park, hitting up our fave rides. Then we made our way to California Adventure for the World of Color show. Earlier this week we learned that Halle Berry and estranged babydaddy Gabriel Aubry reunited in order to take their daughter Nahla Ariela to Disneyland and earlier this month we learned that Heidi Klum and her family spent a day at Disneyland in celebration of her 37th birthday. Today we get to see a few cute photos of Batman star Christian Bale and his family (wife Sibi Blažić and daughter Emmeline) enjoying part of yesterday at Disneyland:

Fans of Disney may recognize that the family is photographed here on the Alice in Wonderland ride in Fantasyland. It’s always so nice to see families looking so happy together … usually when Christian is spotted in public, he looks kinda glum. I love how happy he looks in these photos. I guess it’s kinda impossible to be pissy at Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth! Seeing these photos reminds me … I’m due for a trip down to Anaheim, CA — soon!

Yesterday we saw a couple supercute pics of Britney Spears picking up her young sons from karate class in SoCal last Saturday and today we get to see a few really adorable pics of little Sean Preston and Jayden James having a superfun day at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA on Sunday afternoon … the only weird thing is that they enjoyed Disney on Mother’s Day without mama Britney:

Britney Spears’s sons Jayden James and Sean Preston Federline spent Mother’s Day weekend together at Disney Land! The kids were escorted around the amusement park by a bodyguard, nanny and Disney tour guide as Britney was noticeably missing. Despite the lack of their mom’s presence, the boys — who proudly wore Mickey ears — seemed to be having a great time! If you were thinking Brit was absent from the Disney Land Mother’s Day extravaganza because she was preparing for her conservatorship meeting today, think again. The pop princess was spotted shopping and seems to have missed a pretty important meeting involving her case — namely, a status hearing scheduled for today at 1:30 p.m. As the hearing was supposed to start, an eyewitness tells OK! Brit was at gay bar The Abbey in West Hollywood, and grabbed a cheeseburger and soda with her bodyguard before heading home. But that’s not everything she did today! “Britney started the day by shopping on Robertson at Vionnet Boutique. She bought shorts and mini skirts,” an eyewitness tells OK! of how Britney spent her morning.

Aww … even tho Britney didn’t accompany her boys to Disneyland, it does look like they were having a great time. As you should be well aware, Britney Spears was very famously a Mouseketeer in the Mickey Mouse Club in the mid-90′s (along with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez and Christina Aguilera) so it’s nice to see that her young children seem to have that same Mouseketeer lurve as well. I think it’s a bit presumptuous to assume that Britney missed out on spending Mother’s Day with her kiddies … I suspect they did their own celebrating in their own way away from prying eyes. I think it’s adorable that the kiddies got to spend the day at Disney, Sean P. and JJ really wear their Mickey Mouse ears very well … don’t you think?

Christian Bale took some time this week to made a trip down to Anaheim, CA to spend the day at Disneyland with his wife Sandra Sibi Blazic and their daughter Emmeline. As you can see from the following photo, Bale and fam enjoyed a spin on Space Mountain (tho, by the look on little Emmeline‘s face, not everyone was having the best time ever):

The British actor, his wife, Sandra Blazic, and daughter, Emmeline, had fun at Space Mountain in Disneyland, California. The artist wanted to save the moment and did not hesitate to take his video camera. After two years, the protagonist of The Dark Knight is still not speaking to his mother and sister, who did not know the reason for his anger. At least in this picture we observe that the temperamental leading man is having a fun time and we expected him to soon make peace with his family.

Aww … poor Emme … she looks a bit terrified … but at least Christian looks like he’s having fun! I totally love the Disneyland escort sitting next to Bale in this photo, he knew he was posing for posterity :) I’m a huge fan of Disneyland and I’m glad to see the Bale family are fans, too. Mebbe next time I make my way to the Happiest Place on Earth, I’ll run into the Bales on their next visit!

Yesterday was a fantastically fun day for David and me … we met up with our friend who is also named David (visiting from NYC) and we 3 made our way down to Disneyland for the day. I have been DYING to see Captain EO (which began showing at Disney last Tuesday) and this was our weekend to do so:

We started our day at the California Adventure park but I have to advise any of y’all thinking of going … stay away for a while. Half the park is closed off for renovations and, except for the California Screamin’ rollercoaster, it’s not worth the hassle. We had a much better time at Disneyland. Pink reader Kristina gave me the head’s up that Disney has officially announced that they are bringing back Captain EO to Disneyland! The official Disneyland Blog announced today that the groundbreaking 17-minute 3D movie Captain EO starring the late Michael Jackson will be shown at Disneyland again starting in February!!!

Twenty-three years ago, at the height of his phenomenal entertainment career, Michael Jackson joined forces with Disney to create “Captain EO,” a groundbreaking 17-minute 3D film experience. We are excited to confirm that the classic musical spectacular that thrilled Disneyland park guests from 1986 – 1997, will return for an exclusive, limited engagement at Disneyland park beginning in February 2010! The attraction’s return to Tomorrowland will provide new audiences the opportunity to experience the original 3D production for the very first time, as well as a nostalgic look back for longtime fans wanting to see “The King of Pop” in a rare performance created for the big-screen, just one more time. “Honey I Shrunk The Audience” will be closing sometime in the next few weeks to make way for the Captain’s return.

You may recall that we heard rumors of EO‘s return last month but this official announcement is the real deal!! I am so excited. I never had the opportunity to see Captain EO at Disneyland back in 86-87 so you can bet your sweet buns I’ll be there to see it this time around. If you really can’t wait, you can watch Captain EO online HERE but I suggest waiting to see it again until it returns to Disneyland next year. This is great news … who’s excited?!
